The classes are two hours and go by quickly. There are warm ups, instructional time, demonstrations, partner practice dancing, and instructor feedback. Susana tries to keep it a relaxed, family atmosphere and is very welcoming of new students. The facility is nice, clean, and comfortable. There are ample bathrooms. I believe there is a water dispenser, but I usually just bring a bottle of water. There's only a small parking lot, so you may have to find a spot on one of the side-streets nearby. The students are of various experience levels and also friendly. New students can attend solo and use socks until they get some proper dance shoes. I have taken some classes at other studios for different styles of dancing and Susana's class is my favorite. I find it the most challenging, appreciate the extended class time & depth of explanation, and like the physical training exercises the best. If you haven't tried Argentine Tango @ Ambiance yet, I recommend giving it a shot and think it will fundamentally improve you as a dancer overall.

They try to learn the students names and it feels more like a relaxed family atmosphere. The actual facility is very clean, spacious, well-decorated, and has comfortable seating while you are waiting for your class. Thankfully, there is also a water fountain and water dispenser. The other students are friendly as well and the dance studio location is in a safe area with plenty of parking. Their website has a monthly calendar that lists all of the scheduled classes and events. There's a wide breath of styles including salsa, swing, ballet, cha cha, and even line dancing. You can drop in and pay by the class (around $15-20), but I hear there's a monthly option that allows you to take all classes at a discounted rate. In the classes I have been to, the instructors demonstrate the dance moves, walk through the steps with the students, and then have rotating partner dances for practice.

I felt treated as if I were a threat. Upon arriving, I tried to use the front door, but it was locked. A woman in the class looked at me through the glass door, her expression conveying annoyance or possibly disgust (though I can't be certain), and directed me to enter through the back door. Following her instructions, I went to the back door and knocked, but received no response. I then attempted to call the studio's phone number, yet received no answer.
