We split the 10 oz smoked meat sandwich platter ($15) which came with fries, cole slaw in a vinaigrette and dill pickle. The meat was hand cut and delicious! Nicely flavoured and pretty lean. Rye bread was fresh. They added yellow mustard instead of letting us do it ourselves. (My partner is not a fan.) We also split an entré sized Caesar salad. ($7) Romain could have been a little smaller. Croutons were fresh. Cheese was lovely. Real bacon bits. Presentation was very nice. Friendly atmosphere. Obviously full of locals. Very clean and bright. Recently renovated. Kitschy tavern style chairs and tables. Menu is limited. Smoked meat, spaghetti, nachos, poutine, pizza (all come with smoked meat on top) and wings. Their salmon tartare was a bit spicy and I didn't taste as much salmon as I would have wanted, but it was still good. Their nachos is great and their fish and chips looks really yummy.
