They were almost nonfunctional, and it appeared that they hadn't been cleaned in years. As I left I was approached by a homeless guy wanting to use the bathroom. I sent him away. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the electricity worked. But, I immediately disconnected and left. When I asked for a refund, I was told "he "doesn't give refunds. Whoever "he" is. I didn't go very deep in to the park, the space I was assigned is pretty near the entrance. But it was not a place that I was willing to stay with my family.

That being said, the park was pretty nice. It didn't feel crowded. It was a bit more spread out than others. The WiFi was pretty good by RV park standards. The owners were friendly too. It's a no frills place, but very well maintained - they keep most of the spots' hookups heated so that everything works well unless temperatures are in the 20s or lower for 2 days, which made our December/January weather much more comfortable. The common facilities are clean and tidy, and the campgrounds well maintained. They even had a small lot where we could store our trailer at no extra charge! Best of all though, the manager is exceedingly kind and genuinely concerned about the well being of her guests. This will be our go to choice in the area!

Review Title: Great location, but several issues…read more We stayed at Worlds of Fun Village from July 20 to July 22, 2025. While we enjoyed the proximity to the park and the general setup of the cabins, there were several disappointing issues that need attention: * The smoke detector was missing from our cabin (#257), which is a serious safety concern. * The living room light switch was broken and didn't function properly. * We noticed several ants in the cabin throughout our stay. * Most disappointing was the condition of the swimming pool. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time--there was visible algae along the sides and bottom. I wouldn't have used it at all, but I was on vacation with my grandkids and wanted to spend time in the pool with them. The hot tub was clean, thankfully. Here's a photo of my swim trunks after using the pool--you can see the algae stains left behind: This place has a lot of potential, and I hope they address these maintenance issues. Until then, I'd be cautious about staying here again--especially if the pool is a big part of your vacation plan.

And since the change in management it's been even worst. There's bugs,rats, raccoons, filthy in some areas of the park. Large Full Hookup Sites…read more I've stayed here twice now with a very long 5th wheel RV. Both times, I made my reservation by phone (816-503-4805). The reservationist was very pleasant both times. I've only stayed in the West Loop and only in Site 73. This site is large and on a corner. It slopes to the front (street) pretty good. Bring leveling blocks for the front of your RV. The site is very deep and should accommodate the largest of RVs. The site has 50 amp power, water and sewer with partial shade at the back. Satellite from the roof is perfect here. I paid $30 per night in July 2017. I'd stay here again. Clean and quiet and not far from shopping, restaurants etc.
