The people that work there are all very kind. Can't say enough good things about them! PT is great! So much better than PT in SF!

I received a call from Enloe ER stating he was in the ER and wanted me to know and they mentioned how serious it was. He was admitted with a LOTS of issues: dehyrated, hypotensive, enterocolitis, right lung pneumonia, positive finding for EPEC (interesting because prior I had called Chico Terrace because Larry had complained to me about having severe diarrhea and when I inquired with Chico Terrace I was informed he ONLY had a light case once and I said he told me for a few days and I was told no we have it written down one time. EPEC is ecoli strain that is usually from contaminated food and/or water), septis, UTI, infection in his stomach area, possible bowel obstruction, bed sores, list goes on. But hey, Chico Terrace had given him a tylenol but he didn't respond to it.....SAD because I had complained to the State approx 2 weeks prior WITH PHOTOS concerning lack of medical treatment and notification and the state ruled no violation!!!! He died. I tried to convince him NOT to go to this place to begin with!!!! AND when I went to get the paperwork to turn into DMV for him to have a handicap pass (again I have photos) their Doctor didn't even FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK, signed blank document and that is what I was given, when I questioned it the staff at the nurse said give it to me and she filled in where it states Doctor is to fill out, what a joke. I EVEN HAD ISSUES WITH THE PLACE into having my friend get to his SPECIALIST DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS!!! They didn't see the need and afterall I was told after 2 weeks of them telling me they had scheduled transport was told we already have 5 scheduled that day so no it wasn't going to happen. One morning I received a call from my friend they had actually CANCELLED an appointment that morning because they didn't have transport but they couldn't remember who they had cancelled with.

My Aunt requested some medication from Patricia shortly after she took my aunt's vital signs. Patricia indicated she would tell the Nurse's station to ensure my aunt got what she needed. About 10 minutes later her medication showed up.... the impressive part of the experience is that Patricia dropped by a second time to ensure my aunt actually got the medication. Seems like a simple thing but it shows attention to detail that sometimes gets missed in healthcare facilities. This falls under the category of "Trust but verify that your teammates followed through on their commitment." This is good for the whole team!!

The staff at Riverside actually cares about their residents and it shows! I truly don't understand the negative reviews they've received because I literally go there to visit my family every single day, sometimes twice a day, at different times of the day; and I've seen firsthand how consistently awesome the staff has been during every shift. They're so patient. When my family members put on their call lights for assistance the staff members are always quick to respond. Their physicians and nurses coordinate care with our physicians very effectively and have actively worked to make sure all of my family members' medical needs are met. Beyond that, when one of my family members was discharged from the hospital into their care we weren't aware that they were on a dangerous dosage of a certain kind of medication, but one night they went into bradycardia and staff members sprang into action and saved their life! Joy immediately looked at their chart and figured out which medication was at fault and immediately made the necessary changes, and my family member recovered very quickly after the adjustment. When one of family members began care there, they weren't even able to sit up on their own or bear weight on their feet without support, but now because of Andrew the PT they are now able to stand up from a seated position unassisted and walk laps with their walker! My other family member had a tunneling bedsore that no one had previously been able to stop that kept getting infected, but once they were admitted to Riverside the wound team got the infections to stop, the wound to stop tunneling and to actually start healing for the first time! Because of PT this family member was able to stand up out of their wheelchair for the first time since 2018! To say they've both made massive improvements since coming to Riverside would be an understatement! They give my family members a lot of their personal time and attention and have very good bedside manner. All the nurses and staff and doctors are amazing people and I love them. Shout outs to Joy, Colleen, other Colleen, Steven, Kacey, Tatianna, Andrew, Cameron, Lacey, Kristin, Mark, Emmanuel, Andrea, Crispin, Marianna, Kathy, Mandy, Rudy, Montana, Melissa, Eric, Katie, Leanne, Teresa, Juanita, Mandy, Tammy, Kelsey, Kayla, Allie, Emily, Jenny, Mary, Marti, Corazon and I'm sure I'm forgetting many lovely staff members as well. Literally everyone has been so incredibly kind to us. I want to emphasize that these people can be trusted with the care of your loved ones and I wouldn't want to have mine anywhere else.

The amount of help and assistance it provides to the community and the many contracted counties is incredibly impressive. I wish the number of patients whose lives have changed by HHCM would be on display so everyone can see what an impact this place makes. HHCM is beyond just in-home care. It helps the homeless finding housing, it provides case management to facilitate maneuvering through a confusing health system, it provides resources for better overall care, and the services go on and on. A kind of business dreamt by one individual, the CEO, who chose a career in Nursing for the intention of benefiting others. Such a bright and intelligent woman with years of experience and one who I have learned so much from in the last two months. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to be part of this group.

She is always so productive during her therapy sessions (except when she is hungry or tired) She literally loved Susan from day one. I trust that she will meet all her physical developmental milestones with her. She is consistent, dependable and loving. She has tons of experience. She is a mom of four herself. Endless source of wisdom and guidance for any child or adult. I would recommend Susan to any parent looking for an Occupational Therapist.
