Really good restaurant in Biel, which generally has a scarce offer of good restaurants. We already went there a couple of times, to our satisfaction. This time, we had the Bison Entrecôte (their speciality) as well as their daily pasta dish, which were raviolis with scamorza cheese sprinkled with coffee. We also had the chocolate fondant and their dessert variations (ricotta, creme brûlée, tiramisu) as dessert. We enjoyed our dinner with some white and red wine. The Entrecôte was good and came with some roasted potatoes and veggies. The highlight was however the choice of salts (Himalayan, Persian and Salted Fleur) to sprinkle on the meat ; highly unusual but an interesting twist in flavour. The pasta was good and creamy due to this particular kind of Italian cheese. The chocolat fondant was delicious, while the variation was fine but not exceptional. The downside of the experience was the wine. Considering their concise menu, we would have appreciated a rich choice of fine wines. Unfortunately, their wine choices are limited and not of high quality. read more
