I called back on 3/3/2026 at about 09:28 and spoke to a female at which gave her the information i had and explained that i had called the week prior and just wanted to make the purchase. The associate became irritated and condescending because i asked if i had to give all the information i had previously gave. With a arrogant response she stated " thats what i just told you". This was after calling back and getting the vin and other information requested to insure the correct part was purchased. After the second conversation I decided my business was'nt worthy of her time or patience to assist me while at the same time i was attempting to take care of my customer. Dick Smith service department is a total rip off. We took the truck in for a simple transmission…read moreline replacement. $700 later the clamp wasn't securely closed and less than a mile away the clamp came off and blew the entire line off causing all the transmission fluid to come out. Now the transmission needs to be replaced and Dick Smith is not taking any responsibility. Even though they acknowledged the tech didn't clamp the line back on correctly creating a larger issue.
