On a weekend road trip with my sisters my vehicle started running rough. I looked for the nearest auto zone to get my car diagnosed. They were short handed it appeared but that did not stop Jody from helping me with great customer service. After she sold me the part I would need i proceeded to another establishment that I thought would help me put it in and be on my way. Well that didn't happen, they could not take my car in and was told I needed to use their parts at 3 times the price. Long story short, I went back to Autozone to return the part, when explaining to Jody what was said and the price she on her own started calling auto shops for me that could get me on the road again. She sent me to Jack Furrier and told me who to deal with. This experience could have been very different if not for a very kind and helpful guidance from Jody. Update : On further research I discovered part of my problem. Fuel storage. I have a steel fuel tank and Ethanol didn't exist 35 years ago. Since it s introduction It reacts to the all metal and begins a tiny tiny rust and lift process. Over the years it has affected my one fuel injector. No longer available from auto zone or Nissan factory. And not rebuildable. Plastic tanks not affected Looks like charity will get a real nice truck at Auction that won't start. And not only did he know what was needed, he came out to my car and showed me what had to be done....and he did it! Checked on their website, found the part, called and confirmed, was told they would hold two items for me, arrived and noticed that even though there is a mask notice in the door, no one there was masked. When they went to get the parts, they admitted to not pulling and holding for me, only that they had them. When they went to get my items, only one could be found. I realize it's probably not the most glamorous job to have and finding reliable help post vivid is tough but really? You can't do what you say? Next time I'll order on Amazon read more

As soon as I walked into the store, an employee made eye contact with me with me and said in a condescending tone, "Oh no. Here we go again", to his co-worker. I had never been there before so I was little put off by that remark. I thought about leaving but I wanted to give the employee the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the initial comment rubbed me the wrong way but after that it was just one comment after another that didn't sit well with me. "Oh, you must be a big spender" or "wow, these are the fancy kind" when referring to the $30 windshield wipers I was returning. When all was said and done, I was able to return the wipers in favor of a different pair but I will not return to this Autozone location. read more

I had a purchased a Hitch Ball Wrench that was too big for my hitch, (not sure the date, but approximately 6 months to a year ago). Upon entering the store I asked the sales person if I can return it without the receipt (it is brand new, never been used still has tags on it). The sales person said I can return it - so I shopped around and took my purchases up to the register. He asked when I bought the hitch and I made the mistake of being honest with him about the approximate time. He informed me that they have a 90 day return policy and would not make an exception. I told him that the wrench has never been used and is in brand new condition that I bought it from that location and I am a loyal customer. Although I don't spend hundreds of dollars every month I do frequent that location for all my car batteries and any other products I need. He still would not make an exception. I asked how much the wrench was worth and he said $13.99. I asked, you are willing to lose ALL my future business for $13.99? And didn't answer so I left. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service at this store and will take ALL future business across the street to O'Reily's. The store was fine but the sales associate purposely misgendered my brother and he passed away from suicide a month later. That was the last time I hung out with my brother was at this store. Makes me very sad in this day and age to miss gender people especially your customers. This interaction haunts me to this day still. Do better. Just got done having lunch in the plaza, only to come back to find my car battery dead. As the panic set in, wondering what to do and how I was going to get home, saw Autozone right there. Was barely three steps in the door before I was asked how they could help. Isaac and Todd were quick to grab their battery voltage gauge and followed me to my car. They were exceptionally friendly, making small talk, complimenting my car, etc. They said they'd fix me up no problem, just had to check their stock for my specialty battery. Unfortunately, they didn't have it but offered to reserve the battery at their other location. Nonetheless, they jumped the battery to get me up and going and on my way. Victoria was so helpful! I needed some windshield wiper fluid and there was a kind I got here before that I liked but couldn't remember what it was. She found it quickly AND offered to fill the fluid tank under the hood. Wow! What service. I had the most uncomfortable retail experience at this Auto Zone location. While searching for car paint in one of the aisles, I noticed that I was the only customer in the store. While doing my shopping, I overheard an employee telling an extremely vulgar and sexual story to his fellow coworker. The details were so foul that I left the store in a hurry. It seemed that the employee working noticed me in the store and purposely told the story loud enough for me to hear. This has never happened to me in a work establishment before and I will no longer be supporting any Auto Zones due to this inappropriate and uncomfortable experience. read more
