Afternoon arrives and parts are here as promised! However i realized i needed 1 more of the same part, so the manager orders another and promises it'll be here by 3PM. Store closes at 4PM and he said if i couldn't make it in time to give him a call and he'll personally wait a little past closing. Also bought some other items from them that were in inventory and staff was very very helpful. Sad that i didn't discover NAPA sooner - they have earned my business over other chain automotive parts stores. 5/5 stars... great customer service, friendly staff, and well organized location. If you can't find something in the shelf just mention it to the folks behind the counter and they'll be happy to assist.

They have the quality brands you need for a reliable repair and I've found the prices to be comparable and / or better than other alternatives. Beats buying from faceless, humanless on line customer service when it's needed. They even bettered Costco's deal for replacement auto battery with a quality brand, AC Delco that had a longer warranty. Another time I remember they spent a good amount of time on line for me researching a proper replacement headlight harness. I'm glad I've created an account there so I can get parts quickly when necessary. On-line venders may often times be cheaper, but have no one to speak to when issues arise, returns have to be made, or need something quicker. Something to be said of the Mom&Pops shop.

You stand there unacknowledged for about a minute until one of them, without even looking up from his computer, says "Uh-huh?" or "Yeah?". As you try to describe your problem or ask for a certain part, God help you if your discourse shows you to be, even in the slightest bit, less knowledgeable about cars than they are, because their disdain will become apparent. I brought a glitchy RadCity Bike to Edgewares in hopes of getting it fixed. I had just had a bad…read moreexperience at another bike shop where I was told it would be worked on quickly, then 2 hours later they "still hadn't heard from their e-bike mechanic" who was running late I work or something. So I brought the bike back to brooklyn and to Edgewares. The owner of the shop stopped what he was doing to come take a cursory look. When the battery was fizzing he knew there was a bigger issue so instead of promising a quick turn around he said he wanted to find the real problem but it could take time, and he'd follow up with an estimate. I appreciated the quick review and honest timeline. I got a call later that he had discovered some glitchy wires that may have also been shorting the battery and he had contacted rad wagon and found it. It was under warranty and was able to get me a replacement bike. I was floored! I was happy to pay for set up of the new bike as they had put a lot of time into it. When I realize I had forgotten the key lock for the battery when picking up the new bike they came to my house a mile and a half away to pick it up. It was incredible customer service. I have two ebikes and kid bikes and this place will be my go to for servicing in the future !
