Tried to make sure this cross eyed employee noticed my soda he didn't ring up. Was nice at first even tho he was incredibly condescending. Even checked twice He smartly asked me if I bought more than one item and I said "yeah man. I had an amazing experience with the gentleman named Cody that works here. My battery died after a 14 hour shift and I was devastated. I got my car jump started and went too the nearest AutoZone that turned out too be this one. Not only did he check my battery and found out it was dead. He also went a step ahead and saw that it had a warranty that ment I could just get a battery no costs required. Cody changed my battery without charge and taught me how too change it in the process for the future. Because of Cody I'm a little more educated! Definitely goto the place!!! read more

I've been using Auto Zone for many of my Never Ending list of parts that my car seems to need these days. They are always friendly, have decent prices (they always show me 2-3 options and prices for what i need) and they have NEVER sold me the wrong part. If I'm not sure of something, they'll happily come out to my car to take a look. Or if a part is heavy, they carry it to my car for me. I do have to point out though, they sold me a brand new serpentine belt last week but my belt is STILL squealing loudly. The new one is sitting right there on my seat, brand new and perfectly good... oh wait, I suppose I need to find someone to actually put it ON my car. That might make a difference. read more

I joined their membership. They will do the install for you, unless it's something too complicated for them. They also do everything they can to help you out, I really appreciate that. Their membership offer is definately worth taking. You get points on every purchase, plus some bonus perks, and there is no long term costs involved so it's a win win. As far as prices, everything related to cars seems to cost a ridiculous amouung, so I can't really complain. I pretty much hate having to come here, however, I am always glad I picked AutoZone. read more

I called last night at 7:55 because I needed a part. They close at 8 and I wanted to see if it was okay to go in, or if they really just wanted to go home (I was a minute away from the store). The gall who answered the phone just said "we close at 8" over and over again. She was quite rude considering I was just trying to be nice. I went to take my car in and get one of my back lights fixed. For an affordable price I was able to buy the part and they did a great job putting it in for me. I would have to say the customer service is beyond perfect. One person in particular that helped me with putting my part on named Luis Armenta did above in beyond customer service. With his helpfulness in helping me find the part and ordering it to putting it on. Terrible customer service I stood in line for almost 10 minutes because they have two people working. When it was my turn I asked to have my car scanned because I have a check engine light on which they claim that they will do, they told me not until all of the customers are gone. Evidently the service is contingent on the store being empty. This was a terrible way to treat a regular customer. I will go back there, they will scan my truck and I will not buy my parts from AutoZone. I absolutely would have bought my parts there, like I do every time. But never again. read more

We limped in with our truck after getting a jump and thinking we needed a new alternator. They came out and tested it for us and sure enough..After purchasing the alternator they loaned us tools to put it in and even charged the battery for us. Autozone has always been exceptional! read more

These guys are awesome. I don't expect this every time but I went in and mentioned the lame auto parts Dept in Freddy's didn't have the right head light (H11) for my Subaru. He directed me to the right isle and while I was trying to find a single package (2 bulb pack was $32), the guy came up and said "H11 was what you needed?" I said yes and he said "this was returned and we can't sell it so you can have it". I said "for free?" He said "yup" (3 bulb pack). What a generous thing to do . Never had a bad experience here and this just solidified my wanting to come back here for excellent customer service read more

So disappointed in the lack of customer service. Two of three employees have no idea how or when parts will be at their store. Management had a third employee call and offer ten percent off for my trouble but couldn't validate my complaint personally. I called three auto parts stores looking for a coolant reservoir. Auto zone OC said they could have it same evening 7:00 pick up. I went by after 7 and another employee cannot find the part. My order on the computer says the truck is NA which want the part hasn't even been picked. He says come back in the morning. Well I called again, Andrew at 11 am answered and no surprise, there is still no part. I ask for the management phone number and it is not receiving voicemails. Now a fourth employee Eric calls, says the manager offered a 10% discount but I couldn't even tell the manager what happened. Customer service starts at the top. Something Auto zone corporate may want to consider. read more

Worst experience possible!!!! I get to the store and try to open the door at 8:57pm and its locked. The clerk heard me try the door but wouldn't even acknowledge that I was there. I see there is a number for the manager and district manager posted on the front door so I call the managers number. The clerk inside the store answers the phone! "Thank you for calling Auto Zone, what are you working on tonight?" I tell her I am at their door to which she answers, "the doors are locked because we are closed, its after 9 o'clock." I asked her to please just let me get the part I need to tonight to fix my car. She said, "its against company policy to open the door once it is locked". If they were officially "closed" she wouldn't have answered the phone as if they were still open. It was still before 9pm when she answered the phone yet still wouldn't let me get the 1 part I needed. I been in retail for most my career and and there is nothing worse than employees that disrespect their company and customers by pulling crap like this. read more

Our battery was dying on Labor Day, requiring jump starts every time we needed to start the car. We were 300 miles from home. How many auto shops would be open and able to help us out in time? The folks here were efficient, courteous, and went the extra mile. Really made the difference between a dream vacation and a nightmare. read more
