I placed an order for some items, and received an email confirming that they were ready. When I arrived, I was told that one item was out of stock and that next time I should call first! Well there will be no next time because in addition to this order, my previous order was cancelled without any reason given. In addition to that, I was kept waiting for ten minutes while someone couldn't figure out how to credit me for the missing item. Someone finally came out with a sandwich in his hand and no mask on (while I was required to wear one) while another employee was heard cursing within hearing range of the counter! Sorry to rant, but for a national chain, this type of customer service deserved it. I'll be taking my business to Advance Auto where customer service is much improved. read more

I went to AutoZone January 3rd 2023 at 4:45 p.m. the store manager who had long brown blonde dreads was acting as if he was having a nervous breakdown because I asked him a question about a sale they were having at AutoZone the staff was completely horrible and high you could smell the marijuana wreaking off of them the one guy that had glasses that was helping me ask me was I in a rush because he didn't know anything about the promotion they had slapped on the side of the building when you drive up I called the corporate office five times didn't receive any callback the services horrible the manager is horrible this store is just disgusting now read more

I had a great experience at Auto Zone. I recently had a issue with my car battery so I went to the auto zone asked if they could test my battery. A man by the name of Raffy came out with his tools and tested the battery. He told me it was fine and didn't need to buy a new one. I appreciate his time and not trying to upsell me. Next time I need a new battery I will be back for sure. read more

I went into the store to get some chain cleaner and lube for my motorcycle. I am not sure whether is encountered ageism, sexism or racism. I entered the store where 4 young men were sitting around talking. Not one asked me when I entered what they could help me with. I looked around for what I needed to no avail, so went to the counter to ask. They half heartedly directed me to the cleaning supplies. At no point did they follow up to see if I had found what I was looking for. Again, I was the only person in the store. I am a 58 year old woman who asked for a specific product, not for a cleaning item. Needless to say, Auto Zone on Main Street in New Rochelle is dead to me. I will continue to take my business to the Suzuki dealer up the street where they value customers regardless of their age or sex. read more

Went to get my light changed, cashier didn't feel like helping me look for the light because the guy who was going to change it was going to do that but he was busy helping someone at the moment, cashier wasn't doing anything so he could have helped but no. Once the other guy was able to assist me, he started flirting which was extremely uncomfortable, after he was done with my lights, he asked me out, I politely said no. He then asked again. This makes it really uncomfortable, all I wanted was my light changed, not to get hit on and made uncomfortable. Absolutely disgusting. read more

this auto zone in new rochelle is ok as you will notice once you get what you need and leave . the location is on boston post rd near a diner and shopping complex that includes home depot . the parking lot is small but plenty spots are empty. i picked up some motor oil, antifreeze and wiper blades which the auto zone worker installed for free but i did tip him cause most folks dont and thats not cool. its a full stocked auto parts and acessories for your car shop that are all over the metro area so finding one in your zip code or near by is a short drive. grab some antifreeze when its on sale cause the regular prices are expensive and with winter here have them check your battery and tire pressure which makes for easy startups and better gas mileage . read more

This place is disgusting and their customer service is horrible. I brought a new car battery 10 days ago. Last night my battery light comes on. Pepboys did a test and result was that battery is failing. I got the test result paper and went to autozone for my battery warranty. They did the test and said it's fine and you don't need a replacement. I asked them to give me a paper with a test result. They won't provide me any paper stating my battery is good and said we can't give you anything like that. This manager name Seezhe needs customer service training all over again. I don't like to argue with people. I'm going to put a charge back on my credit card and will stay away from auto zone. This place sucks. Please stay away. read more

I was surprised to see only two stars for 2 reviews for this auto shop but I can see why. But first the positives. Every time I needed a part, this autozone was nicely stocked. Victor the manager, is awesome. Despite a very busy situation at the registers, he made time to answer my question and actually installed what I had purchased in my car (battery and windshield wipers) free of charge. Also you know that cabin car filter that would always get dirty and oil change centers would always ask to replace it and charge a fortune for it, this place sells the filter for the car and they would happily install it free of charge! I also noticed that the manager victor was very observant of all the employees, and would always help out his fellow colleagues every time they got stuck which was frequent. I give it a 4 star because of the lines at the register. There is no system other than "next" and is heavily dependent that customers behave and would not cut. This elderly guy in front of me had 2 people cut in front of him. Other than that, my experience at this place was otherwise awesome. I hope victor would keep it up!! And know I am not favoring just for the helk of it. The guy deserves respect because he actually cares about the customer and the service they provide. read more
