The staff at this autozone are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, they just rock! I had a major breakdown late at night and I was able to get the people here to help me work the problem and after a lot of effort by everyone in the store I was able to get back on the road. This is a big store, but personnel is super slow. It took me 10 minutes to get to the front desk. Sales person Rea R has no idea of what customer service is. Since I was on line I saw how rude she was with the other customers. When it was my turn, I requested 2 spark plugs for my vehicle, she said; we have some for $7,11, 14 and 18. I asked what's the difference besides the price, and she answered; It's your car, you should know. Long story short, she brought the spark plugs and put them in a bag and charged me for 4 spark plugs instead of 2. I complained about the overcharge ($63) she took 2 pieces out of the box and almost throw me the bag after I paid for what I ordered. I will go to another Autozone store next time. read more

Woke up last week and realized my battery had died. I was able to get it started and headed to this location. Despite the until staff bringing an incorrect sized battery despite me stating the one I had already priced online, I was finally able to get it purchased and installed. My sub has been running smoothly since. I was eager to get this done as winter is approaching and I don't want any issues. read more

Why are people so lazy and rude??? Line was super long because they were moving so slow and had the nastiest attitude.

Very lazy people, they are so lazy that instead of looking for the part you need they send you to a different autozone location.

This is still a good stopping point in order to use a relatively clean restroom. Given the crummy car parts that I've purchased over the past many years, an open restroom is the least that they can do for the community as a whole. read more

5945 Winchester Rd Memphis Tn 38115 This Happened around 6:00 -6:30 on April 8 2024 Rest of Staff was Helpful . But the Guy wearing a Gray Shirt with Glasses . About in his 50s or 60s . That man was not Proffesional at all. I tried to explain about a part i was trying to return was mentioned that i was going to get the Core Exchange money back aswell . That was mentioned by one of the employees from there . Now I understand that i probably misunderstood at the Second i was there . But the Guy that was there kept raising his voice at me the whole time . Why raise your voice? if i was talking calmly and showing repsect to you. I stayed quiet at end because i didnt want to make it a Big deal. But next time if you having a Bad day or Some i reccomend you take a break and take a deep breath . Reminder , Heres a Few ways how to Earn it -Be kind and courteous. -Be polite, avoid interrupting or causing disturbances. -Listen to others and respect differences in beliefs and opinions. -Think before you speak, your language and tone. Went in to the store today for a replacement head light. The staff there was very helpful. At checkout, I asked about another part that was needed for another vehicle, the staff member was extremely helpful in determining which part I actually needed. This particular store didn't have the part I needed, so it was sent to another store, but I was given directions on how to get there and told what to expect when I got there. Highly recommend using this Auto zone for your needs if you are in the area. read more

I called asking about loaner tools. Didn't loan out what I needed. He said he would check the average price for me in at tore, but hung up instead Extremely upset about this. Poor customer service. Why is it that we never replace our windshield wipers on nice days? We tend to ignore it for as long as possible until we are out in the rain with the wiper flopping around, scraping the windshield, just trying to make it to the parts store, not being able to see, until the blade just falls off, making you drive around with your head sticking out the window in the cold rain? Why is it ALWAYS the drivers side wiper that falls apart first? If it was the other way around, you could still ignore it for at least a month! That's about how I was this morning. I didn't quite have my head sticking out the window, but I was getting ready to! So I pulled in and bought two blades. They were well staffed and offered to go out in the rain to assist. Now I'm no mechanic, I despise working on cars, but I've done wipers before, so I declined their offer. Fifteen minutes later, I'm back in the store begging for help. They couldn't get it either. The next set wouldn't fit. Then the next set wouldn't fit either. Now, in the hour or so I was there, I had four people helping me, plus myself, and we all had trouble. We aren't talking about some rare vehicle either. This is an old Chevrolet pickup! I've had this truck since 98 and I don't remember ever having this problem. I was about to give up and just put my almost wore out blade on the drivers side, but these guys just wouldn't give up! Finally, he found a Bosch set that fit, and I was all fixed up. Apparently, their computer systems don't tell you which blades will fit your car, it only tells you what size they are. Each brand fits a little different, but most brands work on most cars. They told me its rare to have this problem, but its a Chevy for crying out loud! 5 stars for the guys working there. These are not mechanics, but they were helping lots of other people and doing lots of other wipers while I was there. If they wanted to be lazy, they could have told me to go elsewhere. They didn't even seem to mind opening four sets to sell me one that would work. 3 stars for auto zone and their computer system that's just about useless. We could have used a tape measure to find that they were 18"! If their system actually worked, I wouldn't have had to waste an hour getting soaking wet! read more

On February 7th I went to autozone East Memphis Tennessee to purchase A headlight bulb for my car. A young man advised me that they also install the bulbs. After spending several minutes in the store it became apparent that the young man did not know much about the light bulbs for the car. The young man first charge me for the wrong bulb which put a hold on several dollars on my card. Then I assisted him in finding the correct bulb for the car. When placing the bulb in the car hecould not get it seated correctly he informed me he was afraid to push the bulb completely in he advised me to try to twist it when I did the bulb blew. They did not refund me for the light bulb and the only thing they offered was a $2 off another light bulb which would have brought the price down to $17.99. After spending over 30 minutes in the store I was not satisfied I was not impressed. They should train the young men much better in looking up parts and applying them onto a car. I know I spent a total $40 in the store for a book that normally cost $15.99. read more
