After driving home from medical appointments my engine light began flashing and my car began slowing while I tried to accelerate. Never ideal. So once I safely made it home I called around to see what it could be until my good friend reminded me that Advance Auto Parts does free diagnostic tests - score! When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to only see women at the front desk! This is the first time that I'd visited one of their locations and felt the girl power. They were having an issue with their computers so I lingered about for just a few minutes until they came back up. Once up, the young lady at the front grabbed her diagnostics kit and headed out to my car with me. In less than 3 minutes, she had it hooked up to my car and showed me the final code displayed. She let me know that her phone was dead or she'd look up the code with me but encouraged me to snap a pic to review on my own or with a mechanic. I looked it up and then asked her if she had any local mechanic recommendations to which she listed off a few. A quick, yet, efficient visit that left me with some answered questions and a great customer service experience.
