They are careful not to waste your time and money. They fix what is needed. They do the job right the first time and don't upsell! The 3 things they fixed on my car were all sins committed by other shops and dealers. G&S fixed it for 1/4 the price the dealer wanted just to look at it. It was a bunch of annoying noises that worried me. When G&S looked at it, they found that another local shop failed to reattach a shock absorber during a prior repair! Yikes. G&S did so well on my car that I asked if they could send a mechanic out to replace a couple of dead batteries in my RV. OMG ... They do local emergency road service too! The dead batteries in my RV were caused by a Cummins shop certified in motorhomes. During that repair, the Cummins shop failed to turn off the battery cut offs. I called to remind them. I wrote a note on the work order. Despite being told exactly what to do, they repeatedly failed to turn them off everyday over 7 days. If you take a battery to 0V too many times, it's a paperweight. G&S came out and replaced dead batteries in my RV and they were 30% less than the next nearest mechanic! Both vehicles are running fantastic! Okay ... I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly, bringing my cars to G&S is the first time I felt a Texas auto shop was straight with me.

Dishonest and incompetent! Brought them our F250 with a 5.4 work truck to have the engine rebuilt…read more Paid them a down payment and they promised to have the truck ready in 2 weeks. After multiple excuses and over a month later they claimed to have completed the engine. We test drove the truck immediately and found MULTIPLE coolant hoses leaking("Conveniently" they ink stamp on the invoice that overheating voids engine warranty)SCAM ARTIST!!! They also didn't complete other promised repairs. We left the truck with him again with a promise of repairing in 2 days and they didn't finish for almost a week. Picked up truck again and they repaired coolant hoses but not the manifold(as promised).. Worn down by all the lies and execuses, we accepted the truck and paid in full. After driving the truck for a few weeks we found an oil leak from one of the engine gaskets! Wow!!! The invoice you sign also states cash only and that the customer is responsible for all legal fees. So they are protected from credit card disputes and discourage lawsuits. Truly manipulative! They wasted so much of our money, energy and most importantly our TIME! This of the worst business dealings I've ever experienced and I hope this review helps you avoid the same!

Hey everyone , had to finally post my experience here at PePboy's Atascocita, I've been coming to…read morethis local satellite location. I originally came for an alignment, after speaking with Johnathan he shared all the different types of service that were done here. After closely doing research on my vehicle's need it has 75,000 miles , I went with complete transmission flush and rear end differential oil change. These are just some service key necessities that you won't think of. As they did these services I ask if they could go thru the entire SUV with a fine comb to make sure it is in good shape. This place is so awesome they were able to give me a ride home I live within 3 miles so it was great. Most places won't do this you have to wait or grab an Uber. Later on I got the call there were some concerns with a bearing and 1 more issue , these are the items that if not taken care of will cause more damage more expensive one's. I'm super grateful i came in to just do an alignment, there are things you just don't think of that the techs & staff at pepboys will notice. I got the entire service done on my SUV. After this service I was so happy with the outcome I made an appointment for my BMW 430i for alignment. I asked Johnathan to check it make sure it was sound they found out my tie rods needed to be changed. I got this service done as well. I also got my fuel system cleaned just maintenance. Hey I forgot to mention to check out there online coupons, great savings. They have great financial options just in case you run into some snags on items you weren't expecting . I remember this last year, same location for oil change, but machine suddenly not working or just do not want my business. Im sure they are great, but today, unfortunately, i will not recommend this shop.
