I would like to preface my comments with the fact that my husband, Abhi, has had an overall great experience with AutoZone Auto Parts. However, his most recent experience on 10/30/22 with the AutoZone location at 2301 Montrose Blvd, Houston, TX 77006, was exceptionally terrible. He purchased a new Duralast Gold Battery (Part # 35-DLG), as he uses a Duralast Gold battery in his car. If AutoZone reads this review, you can verify with order # 11122730867 on 10/30/22. My husband asked the representative to check the battery. Once the representative used his scan tool, the device indicated it was time to replace the battery. My husband then proceeded to purchase the Duralast Gold battery, as he has had a good experience with that version in his car. The representative provided him with the battery and did not offer to install it without being asked. The representative seemed disengaged, but still managed to install the new battery. On 11/7/22, my car stalled as I was slowly entering my apartment garage. The car, all of a sudden, stopped and the lights could not turn back on. Worse, my car started drifting backwards and almost hit the car behind me. My car was blocking 5+ cars that were trying to enter my apartment building. My husband ran to my car and identified the negative battery terminal cable was completely off of the negative terminal. He used scotch tape to hold the negative terminal cable to the negative terminal, and the power to the car returned. He and I drove to the AutoZone location at 7729 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77063 to have someone evaluate the car. The representative was courteous and shook his head in disgust that someone could have been so careless with not only loosely tightening the negative terminal cable, but also the positive terminal cable. When my husband said, "the kid working on the car was probably new," trying to give the Montrose Blvd location representative the charitable assumption, the Westheimer Rd representative said, "There is no excuse. What if she was on the highway or in the middle of the road?". I hope if the Montrose Blvd location reviews this posting, they understand the life-threatening circumstances a simple lack of attention to detail could bring. For me, it was only at my apartment. What if this was someone on a busy highway? Food for thought. Anyways, my husband and I will never be doing business at this AutoZone location in the future.

Adam was super helpful. He worked with me to pick up the right wiper blades, and then installed them for me. Was a very nice guy too.

Heck, if I go back another day and they deliver minimum service, I'll remove the review. Experience 1: I had my nephew order several parts and was told most would be ready on Saturday, and one would be available on Monday. I arrive on Saturday to pay and pick up parts, and the nice gentleman Sebastian told me he didn't know what I was talking about and would NOT be able to help me without the complete list. He was arrogant and rude. He didn't offer to look it up by name or check for bulk order. I called back 15 minutes later with the list, and somehow he already knew what I was talking about before I gave him the list of parts but couldn't be bothered to look it up while I was there. Sadly, it delayed repairs on my car further. Experience: 2: On Monday, I called to make sure the entire order was available, and after five minutes on hold, Juan hung up. I called back and told them they hung up on me, and Juan said, "we don't hang up on people". Experience 3: I needed another part for my car that was a special order item. He said if I paid for it today, I could get it by Friday. He sent me a payment link, and I IMMEDIATELY submitted the payment. All this took maybe about 15 minutes from the phone call to them forwarding a payment link. Today I call, and I'm told that I missed the order deadline and would have to wait another five days. No one called me to confirm I still wanted the part or even mentioned the issue when they sent the nonrefundable payment link. I recommend using them, and if they have the part, but if not, please go elsewhere. Stuff happens, and maybe my experience is unique.

I bought a new truck with a 2 1/2" receiver. Even with the reducer, the play in the motorcycle carrier was unusable. They grinded down the ubolt stabilizer so it would properly fit my receiver. It improved the situation about 50% Then Brian told me about a product that could possibly remedy my dilemma.. He warned me it was a bit pricey but we had nothing to lose to try it out to see if it would work....and I'll be damned....worked like a charm. It was expensive, but not as much as buying a new motorcycle carrier. I wish all companies still operated like these guys. (If they did the world wold be a much better place). Bunch of liars and crooks. I was a sold a 2023 f 150 with a bad battery that started giving me…read morenotifications days after purchase. Also, the cpo warranty was included which is another $2k. Was told it was comprehensive and bumper to bumper. That was a lie. Also, a day after purchase, a faulty air dam notification came on. That's not covered either. So much for that 138 point inspection they do on used vehicles. You would think they might think to check the vehicle's battery power during that. Nope. When I called up there, didn't get the service department. Spoke to some arrogant sales person who just wanted to make excuses and not own up to their responsibilities of checking vehicles properly. Very disappointed. Buyer beware.​​
