I needed a new battery for my car and I was reluctant to install it myself due to some corrosion with my current battery. I called ahead and spoke to Everardo and he confirmed the battery was available and they would install it for me. When I got there staff said hello as I walked in and I asked for Everardo since that was the person I spoke to on the phone. Sure enough he was able to remove my old one and install the new one. Unfortunately my current battery had a lot of corrosion that that eaten away at the battery terminal and the swap required replacing that part as well (which I was also able to purchase here). The whole process due to the condition of my current battery was a bit trickier and lengthier than I initially anticipated. Luckily Everardo walked me through the process and explained my options and successfully replaced the battery terminal and the battery itself (no extra cost). This is the kind of exceptional customer service that is far too rare now a days. I am so glad I chose to come here today and Everardo was able to help me. Definitely coming back. read more

Parking is very easy to find I never have had a problem with finding a parking spot there. I went in for windshield wipers and I was greeted by a not so nice person. I didn't know the model of the car but I did tell him that my brother had been there before if he could look up at the model. First off, let me tell you that I am a woman, and I know nothing about automobiles. I called to find front and rear brakes plus rotors. I had so many questions. The customer service on the phone was so knowledgeable and patient with me. She made recommendations and even found some coupon coupons that I didn't know about. She further told me that I could get an extra 5% if I purchased them online and got it shipped free to my home address. She also explained the return policy with their lifetime warranty for breaks. Big Bro is in town for a visit and noticed my household hasn't really been good at our cars' upkeep. (He is a mechanic and a true car fiend.) Naturally, it bugged the heck out of him. AND! That's how we ended up here. I purchased a starter for my dad. When my dad found out how much I paid for it, he went to return it. I paid cash for it and had the original receipt. They told him the part had oil on it, it had been used, and it wasn't their part although that's how they sold it to me. Then they told him I had to return it. so when I went to return it, same thing. We were told to bring the car in so that they could make sure we didn't have their starter. Out of all of my years shopping at Auto Zone, I've never had to go through this just for them to finally give me my refund. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I ordered and prepaid for a part to pick up at this location because my local AutoZone did not have the right size. Before I arrived, the clerk at this location confirmed she had the correct part on hand. Because I did t have a mask, I was told to wait in the parking lot for someone to come out to install my part. After waiting over a half hour, watching at least three other customers waiting in the parking lot to be helped as well a several customers come and go from the store who had areived after me, I finally called to see what was going on. I was told by the female clerk (the same one who had originally confirmed on the phone that she had the part on hand) "If you had your mask on someone would have come out and helped you right away but now there are other customers in front of you so you'll have to wait." I said, "No, that's unacceptable; I've been here for over a half hour and I've prepaid for a confirmed order." She finally sent another clerk out who informed me that they don't even have the part! Autozone: Don't promise (and sell!) something you don't take the time to verify you actually have. And don't discriminate and rationalize retaliatory behavior based on your political leanings. In all my years of coming to AutoZone this is by far the best AutoZone the best customer service the best professionalism that I've ever received. Vincent was absolutely phenomenal. He assisted me with the windshield wipers that I needed, he walked out to my car in the rain mind you, he proceeded to take the original windshield wiper off to match it correctly so I wouldn't accidentally purchase the wrong one. Three times they have given me bad customer service. Their secret is they hope you lose the receipt in order to cover for their mistakes. Even tho they can easily look up your Info in their database. First time I ordered for some sway bar bushing and paid cash. When I went to go pick them up, they stated that I have already picked them up. And with out receipt. They could not help me. I had to call corporate to resolve this. Second time I needed a 36mm socket to rent to remove my CV axel. They told me they did not have it. I looked online and they have a CV axel removal kit that has the 36mm inside the case. The autozone employee clearly wasn't trying to help me. Third time I have this autozone battery. And with the corona virus being around. I wanted it charged and ready to go. They told me it was bad but I burrowed a charger and it tested good. So not only did they not charge my batter, they wanted to sell me a new one. This store is not here to help. I recomend you look for a place that cares read more

This is my favorite Autozone. Not because it's close but because they seem to have most item I'm looking for and fast service once you reach the cash register. I used credit card but it was super quick, I was at the counter maybe less than a minute, cool. It's not always this quick however, probably depends on who's at the counter. I've been going here for years and purchased K&N filters, Bosch filters, wipers, alternators, batteries, etc. The parts guys are helpful with no LA style stare down attitude, friendly folks. I think they used to carry more high performance products but no big deal, I can get those on internet cheaper. But this place definitely good for basic necessities you need right now. read more

I went a few weeks back to get some transmission fluid and ended up getting new wiper blades also because they were having a half off sale. I went back last night for a new car battery (after going to Kregan and being told that only the car dealer carries that batter) and although AutoZone didn't have it in stock they did in fact carry it. So they found me the nearest store that did have it in stock (about 2 miles away) and had it put on hold for me. They even waited on the phone till the battery was found and put aside for me and gave me a little print out with the address and a hold number to make pick up easier. The staff at this location is very responsive and competent. On the 2 occasions I've gone I have always seen the staff out in the parking lot helping customers install their new purchases. A few weeks ago I visited store #5944. The guy who helped me was very rude and lazy. He was very short with me while I was trying to get info on what wiper blades to get for my car due to them being old. He looked up what blades would possibly work for my car and pointed to where they were and told me to get them. After the purchase, I asked if he had time to help me put them on because it was raining outside that day. He told me that he personally isn't going to do it, but I could stand back in line and ask another associate if "they feel like doing it." I did not like his attitude or response because it did not show good customer service so I walked out. I attempted to put the blades on myself, but I had never done it before so I had some trouble. I end up going to the #5224 location and a employee name David warmly greeted me and was more than willing to help me put the blades on because I thought I bought the wrong ones since I couldn't put it on. He happily came outside to assist me and explain to me that Bosch Envision blades were different than the blades I originally had and showed me how to put them on. I am grateful for his assistance and I feel that he deserves some recognition! read more
