While rushing to hook-up a tow hitch to my pickup truck, I discovered I was missing the clip to my pin. In panic mode, I rushed over to Auto Zone to see if they had any clips. I was positive that I was totally wasting my limited time and would end up having to buy an entire new tow hitch, but what do you know... not only did they have clips, they were cheaper than the clips for sale on Amazon. I was so relieved. The staff member who helped me was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The inside of the store is bright, clean, organized, and easy to get in/out. Went in expecting to spend over $100 on car parts. They were busy, with all registers being used, so I knew it would be a wait. However, after waiting for 10 minutes to ask one question (I wanted to make sure I was reading the parts conversion manual correctly), and seeing one person at the checkout, I tried to find help. Every salesman had disappeared. Only one person was working the counter now. He offered to help when he had time, but I told him not to bother. Generally my experience is great, however today was a total disappointment. After waiting in the store for almost 10 minutes a team member finally acknowledged me and again, I waited only for another customer to come in and have someone immediately assist him. I don't think race had anything to do with it, but the fact that I'm Black and the other customer was White, left room for that thought to fester. Upset, I left all of my items on the counter and left the store, only to have the employee who assisted the other customer that he skipped over me, to finally greet me. Don't go here if you are a woman, a feminine presenting person, or literally anyone who doesn't look like they work on cars. I went to AutoZone about 2~ weeks ago to buy wiper blades. I know my car type, model, and specifics. I told the old man there my car, and he pointed out what blades I needed. They were not the right size, and my boyfriend and mechanic friend couldn't attach them. No big deal, maybe he pointed out the wrong ones; literally, who cares. I went to return them today (05/10/2023) to get my money back because I am in college and yk,,,,,money is money,,,,,,,,,; when I returned them, the same old man who told me what blades to buy stood behind me, not to the side, not to the front, where there was room, but behind me, saying "how can I help you" 1.) I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE IN FRONT OF ME. WHO WAS AN OLDER SWEET LADY WHO JUST WANTED TO TALK TO SOMEONE. This douchebag was just standing there, rolling his eyes at me. 2.) I COULDN'T HEAR HIM BECAUSE HE CHOSE TO STAND BEHIND ME. he didn't say ma'am or anything until the end, and there were other people there so i didn't think he was addressing me when i did hear him. like i think a normal person would stand in sight line if there trying to talk to me. I don't understand why he chose to do that. so weird, bro. Anyways, i handed him the blades and said, "yea, I need to return these, they didn't fit, and i bought new ones" I didn't expect the employee to apologize because its so trivial and its not that serious, BUT what I didn't think he'd do is pick up the blades and LOUDLY exclaim "AND THE PACKAGING IS DESTROYED." like, i get it, its annoying, but the store's return policy is return in any condition if unused (I'm guessing because they did take the unused blades but bad packaging) even if after this he was upset, that's one thing, but he then proceeded to kinda yrll at me about how he "doesn't understand why people have to destroy the packaging" (still thinking its me), and I told him, "I didn't do it, bro, someone else opened it" this man is having a fit now, and I want him to stop yelling at me. he then proceeded to say after I said it wasn't me, "YEA BUT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT, AND NOW IM OUT $37!!!!!!" holy shit, bro. he was not paying for it. he wasn't even a manager. He had to ask someone else to give him an access code. Bro acted like he was personally gonna have to pay for it. he comes out from behind the POS area, as something is loading after he smashed and banged on his keyboard like a toddler (think when you lose a game of LOL and you are rage typing) he grabs the two wiper blades and SMASHES THEM over his knee AND CONTINUES TO LOOK AT ME AND BREAK THEM AS IF ITS ALL MY FAULT AND THE STORE WILL NOW GO OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THESE TWO WIPER BLADES. he did this THREE times, looking at me like he wanted to me to know it was all my fault. I don't understand why he acted this way, bro. It is annoying when something is returned that way, but that's the store policy for returns and i didn't like demand he returns it or whatever. but the top part was the "destroyed part" bc it was that sealed plastic. but the rest of it was fine, and the blades were working condition. The reason I said don't go here if you're a woman is because I've been to this same store many times, but when I go by myself, I have to deal with this shit. One of my worst experiences ever! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I've only ever purchased my car battery from AutoZone, but this is the first time where my experience was absolutely horrible. Then again, I've always gone to other locations. I came in on Wednesday to get a battery replacement under warranty because the one I got was defective. The gentlemen said it was too cold for him to change my battery. I thought it was strange, but just asked him to jump my car and told him I'd return when it was warmer. Friday morning, my car still wouldn't turn on so I called AutoZone to see if I could get my car towed there if they would be able to change my battery. The lady on the phone said no, we don't do that for your car. I explained that I've never had anyone from any other AutoZone tell me that, but she just repeated that they won't do it. I guess for the last 10 years, I've been really lucky with the AutoZones I've gone to. Roadside came to the rescue and offered to take my battery out, go exchange it, and place the new battery in my car. Overall, this experience was the worst! The customer service was horrible. I don't ever leave reviews but if you could go to another location, please do! You'll be better off! read more

They also offer a military discount to veterans and active duty military. I really love that and will be back again for future needs. Tony was exceptional!!! I was in a bind as my battery was not working. He had to remove a piece of a car component to get to the battery. This is not something they normally do. Tony was nice enough to make the exception and replace the battery. It took him 30 minutes! I have been in sales all my life and rarely have someone go the extra mile to take care of a customer. I'm a huge fan out Discount Tires and their warranties, and now consider Autozone to be just as great for their batteries. Apparently we bought the battery for my car three years ago, and when it died today, we were pleasantly surprised that it was still under warranty. Even with 2-3 people in front of us, we were assisted quickly and the time it took for the staff to go to the car to check the life of the battery and pop a replacement one in took about ten minutes tops. We don't expect warmth from a visit to Autozone, so don't come here with high hopes for that. Instead, it was a no-fuss errand since they get right down to business. read more

Almost without exception every single employee there seems to either hate their job or just doesn't like working. I've been in there many times when they have peeked their heads around the corner with a sandwich in their mouth or talking to another employee never looking up never stopping never even acknowledging your there. I was headed out to get an oil change, knew I needed an air filter but also knew they would charge an arm and a leg. So I called the Auto Zone store. Man said they had one and could tell me how to install. When I arrived, not only did they tell me but an employee (Jess, I think) actually went out to the car with me and in about 30 seconds showed me exactly how to install it. So simple!! Save me money on that visit but also it will save me future money. Never again will I pay the exorbitant prices for an air filter at the shops. That type of service is so very appreciated. read more

The store manager James and his employee Jessica are fantastic! I found myself in a bit of a bind when I was hopping in the car to head to work this morning. I knew the battery was getting old, and had meant to replace it this weekend. Unfortunately, when I went to turn the key, all I got back was a weak attempt to turnover followed by the clicking of a dead battery. My wife, an elementary teacher, was a solid 30 miles away, and my neighbors had already left for work. My only alternative was to air up the bike tires and pedal myself to AutoZone. I left with a backpack and the optimistic assumption that I would be strong enough to pedal the mile back to the house with a new 60 lb. battery strapped to my back. Fortunately, upon arrival to the store, James and Jessica were not only able to quickly find my replacement, but also recognize that my optimism was foolhardy. Without hesitation, they thew my bike and battery in the bed of one of their delivery trucks and drove me home. The service here is outstanding. I will most certainly be going to this location for all my automotive needs. read more
