He then proceeded to tell me to get out of his store even after I said please can you not talk to me like I'm dumb? I literally have tears down my face. I'm not screaming at all. So after the hail storm we had in the northern va area about 2 yrs ago, I brought my subaru (key…read moreword for this review) to this location to have that work done. This was a 'preferred facility' per my insurance and that was a good start. Find out that i have a chipped front windshield and it's replaced as part of the repair. About 2.5 weeks after I get a call that my car is ready. I pick up the car on a saturday and it was sunny. Only to find out that the next day, sunday when i start my car, the subaru eyesight does NOT illuminate (strike 1) when i start the car and goes off after about 5-10 seconds. I know when I dropped off my car this eyesight was working and illuminated when i started the car. Now the 2nd day, still doesn't illuminate when starting the car. Stopped by the location today, 6/22, to have them look at it and apparently this recalibration of the front windshield and subaru eyesight are done by a 3rd party. I have a preliminary apt to have this looked at on this friday, 6/26/2026. Note that one of the MAIN reasons for getting a subaru was the subaru eyesight! For those who know what this is, you know how key this safety function is. I also have a state inspection that was due in May, oops, but with the traction/lane keep assist light currently illuminated from my research i know this will FAIL state inspection. When I mentioned this to the "service rep" at caliber today, 6/22 I was told that your car should pass inspection. Steve pulls up to load the Bimmer on the flatbed. Fully explains the loading/ towing process and how he'll ensure ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE to the Bimmer. I'm like (COOL!). In order to do so, your driver decided it would be okay to drive on my lawn. When the driver was out of the cabin and at the tail of the towing truck, moving the car off of the ramp, the truck actually moved forward more into the yard. Upon leaving, he drove even further onto my property, cutting the wheels to try and navigate his way out. When confronted by my wife, he said he didn't leave any tracks on the lawn. I beg to differ. We work hard to maintain our property and keep it looking nice. For your driver to unilaterally decide it was okay to do this is absolutely unacceptable.
