It always seems to happen the same way either screwing the cap off but mostly back on because of the limited access the hubcap allows me. This store is just down the street at the intersection of Spring Grove and Kenard Avenue so it is very easy to pull into and out of the parking lot. This is where I also bought the Turtle wax rubbing compound after the bumper of my car was scratched up last year. The associates are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I had to wait a few minutes to interact with them as they help other customers but it has been worth it. Their prices and the brand selections are reasonable. I found a set of gray valve caps here for $0.99 that perfectly matched my car. I recommend coming here for car parts & accessories big and small. I went into Advance to buy a small part for my car (nothing serious, something cosmetic) and not only was I not greeted, but the person attending the store that day rolled his eyes at me! Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Lazypants, is my presence here hindering you from all the nothing you're doing? Anyway, I found what I needed, but I had a question about it. I wanted to compare it to a different similar product. I didn't want to ask Mr. Lazypants, but since he was the only person in the store, I didn't have much choice. Bad idea. Not only was he incredibly rude and condescending, but he didn't even answer my quesion! We called Auto Zone in Florence, Not only were they not helpful, they were downright RUDE! We called Jiffy Lube, they were very helpful but could not help us with the problem. Finally I called Advanced Auto Parts. Aaron answered the phone and was very nice. He told us if we could get there He had the part and someone would help us. We arrived and the part was waiting for us and Jake came out to the car and put it on for us! He was very nice and professional. It took him about half an hour to remove the old hose and replace it with the new one. I offered him some money for helping us and he refused replying "This is what I do." I can't say enough about the young PROFESSIONALS at Advanced Auto Parts. We were in desperate need of help and they were kind and extremely nice. PLUS, he figured out why my heater fan wasn't working on high and fixed that! I checked the part price when I got back and they were 15% lower for that too than other stores. I'm donating this car to someone in need and when I told Todd at the service desk that, he called the mechanic to come up and tell me what absolutely needed to be done vs. what was a "nice to have". They have great service at a fair price, and are customer-focused. And the place is immaculately clean. They are first-come first-serve so get there early for faster turnaround. Just got my muffler replaced here. Was able to come in without an appointment so it's first come…read morefirst served. Todd helped me and it took just under three hours so much sure you plan some time. They have a small waiting room with two tvs. It was $575 for replacement of two parts of the muffler. Unfortunately I did have to take it back due to a sound when going over bumps but I was able to bring it back next day and it was fixed! They are currently going thru renovations but very open! You can see your car getting repaired and downside is you can hear EVERYTHING. Plenty of parking in their private lot which takes up a whole corner in Covington. Would I come back for work? Yes I probably would.

On Tuesday, they wait until 5:30 p.m.to start working on it because they had "had a busy day". Hopefully ready at 7 p.m. Poor judgement on the part of the manager to put my car low priority after Firestone's delivery blunder. I will never return.

(for anyone who wants to know the specifics I went in for a alignment, and they noticed my inner right tire rod was extremely bent, so bent that they had to do something ab the the"threading". if I'm being out of town, you know what I'm saying right but anyway anyways.. the threading was bad. On very short notice they had to order the parts for it and absolutely harassed the delivery people for lying about when they would deliver it (the good kind of harassment lol) I think in total the end amount was 400 and like $20 which was even lower of an amount than what they quoted me.) Also, I went In for a simple diagnosis about my serpentine belt. These guys really could have told me I had To replace the whole thing and I would have believed them because thats honestly what I thought was gonna happen. Instead, they told me the truth and that it really wasn't a problem that had to be fixed right away. On top of that. Their mechanic Chris noticed my battery was loose so he tightened it, diagnosed like three other things for me free of charge, and even filled my windshield wiper fluid. he didn't even mention doing any of that.. I just so happened to notice him doing it when I looked through their window. I thought that was a really nice and kind thing to do for somebody.
