Cheers to Eric here at Autozone for saving the day! I was about to head on the road to Cleveland and was expecting to be driving through a blizzard for most of the time. Right as I was about to turn onto the interstate my passenger side windshield wiper broke. At that exact moment I looked up and saw the Autozone sign. It was seriously a miracle. Now, I may be in my 30s, but still to this day I've never had to replace a wiper on my own. Not only did Eric grab what I needed but he even offered to put it on for me. Even showed me how to do it so when this happens again, I know what to do. This all happened in under 10ish minutes and I was back on the road. Horrible customer service. You are not greeted with a smile. Not even a hello. Not even a good morning. You have to stand around and then they'll look at you and just say you need something. It's absolutely horrible. I turned around and left. I would never come to this store ever again. Parking is bad. You have to fight to find somewhere to park but then you go in the place and there's nobody in there so I don't know why all the cars are parked here or not but I would never go here ever read more

We were welcome immediately by Isacc. He was extremely helpful with our BMW needs for bulbs and wipers, and oil. He offered to help put in the headlight bulbs for us!! He installed the wipers, helped fill the oil, AND put in the headlight bulbs with ease. He blew our expectations out of the water and so happy with our discounts and experience! I called the AutoZone located at 3833 West Broad to ask a simple question. When the worker answered he ask to place me on hold, and I said sure. Sixteen minutes later I finally hung up and called back! Within three rings the same guy picks up and says the same thing he did before, though this time I stopped him and said that I had already waited for sixteen minutes the last time he put me on hold. He acknowledge that and said he would put me on a short hold! Ten minutes later I hung up again. He could of answered my question under a minute if he had just given me the chance to ask it! I'll take my business to Advanced Auto for now on! read more

I came to Autozone with the intention of replacing my battery, and online it says they offer free testing to see if the battery needs replaced. At this location, although the man was very nice, he wanted me to take the battery out and bring it inside. I found this as odd, but if that's commonplace fine. I then asked to use loaner tools to take the battery out, and although the gave me some, none of them fit. When I asked which tools I could buy in store to get the battery out, he didn't know what I needed. He also offered fluid to clear the corrosion on the battery, but then saw he didn't have that either. So, from the expectation that I handle the battery installation myself paired with this location having nothing I needed to fix such a routine issue, I would not recommend coming here for car battery help unless ALL you need is to purchase the battery. I went to Advanced Auto a mile away from this location and the man handled everything, taking the battery out and replacing it (and even coating it with corrosion protectant) and he was happy to do it. Even if Autozone doesn't offer that as a service, I'm thinking they should since I felt fairly helpless in the store. read more

Hands down the absolute worst autozone in this area. They never know where anything is and will tell you they have something in stock over the phone or in their website and then turn around and tell you to go to a different autozone because they don't have it. The managers at this location are also incredibly rude and not helpful. Going to advanced from now on. read more

I went to get my battery replaced in my car. They came out to test my battery and the guy was very nice when he did it. I was told that the battery was either bad or that my alternator was the problem. So I decided that I was going to buy a battery just to test it out according to my uncle who was mechanic. They couldn't install the battery themselves until they had another person come in the store to cover a person going outside. They told me I would have to wait which ended up being three hours to just be told they can't replace it for me because I have a newer model car and it's too hard to get out. All the workers treated me nicely. I don't think the experience was the best. Especially since they had already looked at my car and tested the battery they probably could've told me we can't do it because my car is newer model. Needless to say when I went to the dealership to get my battery replaced it was expensive but they were able to put it in and didn't make me feel used or dumb for not know what was wrong with my car. Overall my experience was so so. I just feel like I was jerked around for hours because they were understaffed and didn't seem to think to tell me they would probably have a problem replacing it. read more

One of my worst customer service experiences. Went to the self checkout to start checking out items and a worker (didnt catch his name but started with an M) took over and starting ringing out my items for me. He couldn't get an oil filter to ring up correctly and was getting more frustrated by the minute. When he thought he had finally figured it out my total was 30 dollars more than what it should have been. I stated that Online the price was lower to which he angrly told me that they dont compare to online prices, told me to cancel if I didn't want to pay, and then walked off and told another female staff to help me. She was so much better and re rang up my items, but rang up each item twice and had to manually delete each item back out the cart. Suprise suprise, once she fixed everything it was the price that it should have been. As she was looking over my receipt the man that originally was checking me out proceeded to say again in a rude tone "I told you we don't match online prices"... Well I wanted to say if you actually ring up the items correctly you wont have that problem. Walked out frustrated, but paid the correct amount which matched the same price as online. Just a terrible customer service interaction at this location. read more

In typical girl fashion, I wandered, aloof, into Auto Zone. All I needed was windshield wipers, and despite being assured one trillion times by family and friends that my problem was nothing to fret over, I could not disguise my nervousness. The salesman sensed my bewilderment, and asked me if I needed help. HELL YEAH I NEED HELP. MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE BROKEN AND I'M CLUELESS. So with the help of his trusty manager, Darryl, we found the windshield wipers I needed. Darryl graciously applied them. $20. In and out of there in under ten minutes. I love these guys. I just wish they had reminded me to buy a new air freshener, because mine is depleted of scent. read more

After my battery light came on, I drove over to this Autozone to have them check it out for me. After opening my hood, the gentleman working asked if I knew where my battery was. Clueless about cars, I told him no. He then pointed to a largeish object under the hood and told me he could not test my battery because it was in an enclosed area and they aren't allowed to unscrew/unbolt anything. Confused and frustrated, I called the Autozone in Clintonville to confirm this informaiton. Cheryl there was extremely helpful and told me to drive on over and she would check it out for me. Once there, I opened my hood and told her the problem I had at the last Autozone. She looked at the car, looked at me, and proceeded to test my battery and tell me it was bad. I asked what the problem was at the last place and why he couldn't test it, pointing to the object the man told me was my battery. It was the air filter. read more

Never will return. The gentlemen helping me had no clue what he was talking about, he even suggested me to go to advanced auto and I did and they were a big help. I went in to rent a slide hammer and puller to get the wheel bearing off of my car. The employee who helped me who I later found out was the manager, displayed a surprising lack of knowledge of the tool rental selection and only gave me the hammer and not the puller assuming they came as a package I had to return once I found out they weren't (should have checked myself) and the manager openly avoided helping me. I eventually got what I needed but was very upsetting with the lack of knowledge and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. read more

I went to AutoZone about three weeks ago, the night before I went on a an extended trip. I hadn't had my battery replaced in quite a while, and when my car stalled out and the battery light came on, I figured I'd better get it checked out. As soon as I arrived, Tony came over to help me. He checked my battery, told me it was still in good condition, and reviewed the incident with me to help me figure out what else could be causing this. Tony took his time listening and never made me feel rushed, even though it was very close to their closing time. He was quite helpful and attentive, and ended up suggesting a $3 fuel treatment, which I tried, and despite driving 2500 miles since, I haven't had any more trouble. The absolute worst service I have ever experience in my life! When I walked in the security scanner went off. The guy at the counter made me empty my pockets and accused me of stealing!!!! Clearly seeing I walked in the store! He would not let me shop freely and made me wait by the front door while he did MY shopping. I walked in to buy Cable Lube, there was a can I brought from the store previously for about $5. I told him this and he returns with the most expensive cable lube in the store, and rings me up without even asking my opinion! I informed the man of the other Cable Lube I brought from the store previously and asked him to take another look. He walks into a completely different isle with no Cable Lubes and insists they had no such thing! After constant pushing him and the manager finally let me get the Cable Lube myself, and they had a full stock of it! I would give this store a negative score if I could. DO NOT GO HERE! read more
