First, let me start by saying it's tough finding a shop that will use your parts for a repair. I…read morehad 2 mechanics that we're going to do my service work so I ordered several hundred dollars worth of parts only to have them unable to do the work, leaving me to scramble to find a shop who will use my parts. Secondly, I have always been leery using "national service centers" such as Goodyear, Firestone, Midas, Sears, etc. to do any work outside their specialty area. I've heard too many horror stories of these shops creating a list of work totaling several thousand dollars of "necessary work" performed at a substandard quality. Because this shop was recommended to me by someone who works in the auto service industry, I gave them a try, even though the shop is 40 min from my house. I was very pleased to find their work to be of high quality at a very acceptable price! They even returned the old parts as proof they changed them. My car ran exceptionally well as a result of their work. I have several other major service jobs that need to be performed (timing belt, water pump, struts, A/C repair) and I will be scheduling them at a future date. Thank you Aamco for a job well done!

My car wasn't showing any signs while driving and my family's mechanic of over 20 years also found it a little sketchy. When signs of brake issues did arise 6 months later, I took it to Firestone on Prospect Ave who fixed it for a quarter of the price and I've had no issues since. Maybe Terry's was being truthful about the issues, but if so, it felt way overcharged and pressured to get it fixed sooner than necessary.

I went out the first exit I found and I parked, googled and Atlas was my nearest, fastest, responsive, and to be honest, only choice. They came and towed my car, took care of it, changed my alternator, and did a great job overall. They took 24 hours in fixing the issue. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the garage is a bit hidden, but not so hard to find if you pay attention. This is clearly not a chain-like auto service place, but in my experience, nice, decent, respectful hard working men. I will come back again!

Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence.
