While on a trip from Chicago to New Jersey for a family wedding, the breaks on our 2013 Toyota Sienna began making a sound when used. My wife and 3 kids were already antsy about the drive, this breaks issue made them more anxious and annoyed. Not knowing the reliable service locations in the area, I put the word "breaks" in Google. We went to Meineke, a franchise name I recognized. They quoted us $600+ for new front breaks and rotors. That seemed pricey. We left and called a few other locations on the Google list. One service location we called was very busy and said they could fit us in for the following day. We couldn't wait that long as we had to be at a wedding in NJ that next day. When we called Tire & Wheel Automotive Service Center, Tim picked up, listened to our predicament and offered to help in an expedited manner. We brought the van in, showed him the Meineke quote and Tim immediately quoted us $100 less and said that they'd be able to expedite our repair due to our schedule/need. While in the waiting area, we met Dave, a low key stand up comedian, who made every effort to make our family us comfortable, including changing TV channels and making great small talk. Both Tim and Dave are so down to earth, kind, and friendly people. As an example, during the wait for the repair to be completed a guy with a mobile food business pulled up to the repair shop and sold some food to the employees. My kids went out to buy some snacks and drinks, but when they tried to pay, Tim wouldn't let them, he paid for my kids. I couldn't believe how lucky we were to meet such friendly, generous, and honorable people. Our brakes were repaired in less than 2 hours and we were on the road a little while later. The repair shop also had a way to finance the repair via a 3rd party company called Snap. We were grateful to be able to have the option to finance the cost of repair, as we didn't budget break replacements in our trip budget. The financing part took some time to go through, due to the Snap company's lack of timely customer service, Dave and Tim did everything on their end to make the transaction go through, and it finally did work. On the way back from the wedding we made sure to stop by and bring the guys some Kristy Kreme donuts as a thank you for their k service and kindness.

When I got there I didn't see my car in the parking lot or in the shop, so of course I'm gonna ask about it. When I asked where my car was the owner was extremely rude. Said he was another shop where the do tire rotations. How the hell am I supposed to know that. Then he said " I said I would call you when it's ready"! I don't mind waiting, and as soon as the car is done I'm heading off to work. the dude is just an asshole for no reason. Don't go here! Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence. I went out the first exit I found and I parked, googled and Atlas was my nearest, fastest, responsive, and to be honest, only choice. They came and towed my car, took care of it, changed my alternator, and did a great job overall. They took 24 hours in fixing the issue. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the garage is a bit hidden, but not so hard to find if you pay attention. The owner Mike, has always been quick and reliable but he hasn't been there much recently and they have been short staffed so someone else worked on my truck. They charged me 6 hours of labor and almost 1k to fix my plow for a repair I have proof didn't take the guy 1 hour to fix. It takes Just over 6 hours to fully install a plow with all wiring and mounting. Not to repair a leak. Left the shop and my truck barley start and wheb it did multiple lights were on the dash that were not when I brought it there. Truck died in the middle of the street while driving it home. Ended up putting a battery in and appeared fine. Went to plow with my newly fixed plow and less than an hour into plowing it started leaking fluid all over again. Took it back and they looked at it, supposedly fixed in 10 mins and sent me on my way. Guess what? Plows leaking fluid like crazy again and not working. Called and left 2 messages last week asking if I could bring it back to have them fix it properly and if they could call me back and guess what? No call back yet to this day. 9 days later. When Mike the owner is there, the work is quality and things are completely different. He hasn't been there much recently and when he's not the receptionist and mechanics they do have working do not handle anything professionally or at all for that matter. I run a small business so I don't like to write bad reviews about anyone, but after all these issues, multiple calls and messages with no call backs left me no choice. Do NOT go here, or use this place unless Mike is there and you have a GUARANTEE that Mike the owenr will be the one repairing your issue.
