That introduction likely says enough, but I would not recommend you bring your car here for service. In June, Compact Car Service replaced the front axles on my 2014 Honda Civic, a car that has an automatic transmission. However, instead of installing axles meant for an automatic transmission vehicle, they installed axles meant for a manual transmission vehicle. I had two different shops diagnose this same error, including an actual Honda dealership. As a result of the wrong axles being installed, my car was completely destroyed, I broke down on the side of the road in a different state and had to have an entirely new transmission installed after having the car towed back to my house. This was an extremely expensive and time-consuming endeavor. I had been taking my Civics to Compact Car Service for seven years prior to this error with only good things to say, and I completely understand that mistakes happen. The most egregious part of the entire experience was their response. When I reached out to Compact Car Service informing them of the error, they informed me that there was no possibility they could be responsible and would take no steps to even look at the car or acknowledge the possibility. Since they would not acknowledge any possibility of wrongdoing, I was forced to file a lawsuit. Compact Car Service, I imagine through their insurance company, brought a team of lawyers to argue that no wrongdoing had occurred. Fortunately, the judge agreed with the findings of the other mechanics, and they were obligated to make a $5,000 payment (an amount that does not come close to making me whole, but at least it's done now). If you come here, hopefully nothing goes wrong with your car because if it does, it will be a six-month legal battle and extremely expensive to get them to take any form of accountability. I imagine someone from the company will contest the contents of this review, but the case and its conclusion are public record for anyone to see for themselves. I advise in the future that Compact Car Service understands that mistakes can occur and at least tries to act like the responsible small business they claim to be.

Won't recommend a repair unless absolutely needed and will let you know of things they see that don't need replaced quite yet so you can plan appropriately. Have sent me wife there several times with our vehicles and don't feel the need to check in with me before repairs as I fully trust their word.

When I called the service center, I spoke with Jacob Walker. My service consultant was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to speak with regarding the service needs for my vehicle. Mr. Walker assured me that he could accommodate my schedule, which I greatly appreciated, as I have a very busy schedule. He was extremely flexible and helpful throughout the process. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Mikayla McElroy, a service consultant, who was the first person I spoke with upon entering. Mikayla was very professional, welcoming, and enthusiastic about helping me with my needs. I informed her that I had previously spoken with Jacob and wanted to come in personally to discuss scheduling my appointment further. While visiting the dealership, I also received excellent customer service from Andrew Mueller. I found Andrew to be very personable, professional, and attentive. He met me in the reception area, assisted me promptly, and brought me my keys. Additionally, I had the pleasure of speaking with Eric Don Jordan, who informed me about the dealership's monthly Cars and Coffee event and kindly invited me to attend with friends and family. It sounded like a wonderful event and further demonstrated the welcoming atmosphere of the dealership. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism displayed by everyone at the dealership. Every employee I encountered went above and beyond expectations and truly made me feel valued as a customer. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about providing outstanding customer service. I would like this recognition to be escalated to corporate leadership and the ownership of the dealership so these employees can be acknowledged for the exceptional job they are doing. Their dedication to customer care reflects very positively on the Porsche brand. Thank you to the entire team at Porsche Independence for providing such an outstanding experience. I recently attended a pop up Galentines brunch held in the showroom and won the grand prize raffle of a free 24hr overnight test drive in a 2025 Taycan. Ryan and Whitney were absolutely PHENOMENAL! Friendly, so welcoming and I literally felt right at home like I've been a lifelong Porsche owner. I can't rave abt this experience enough! Highly recommend!! Thanks again guys for the experience! It was amazing, especially since it was my birthday wkend! Made it even more special!

None of the males made an attempt to help me load them but she did. On the way out the cart got caught on the rug resulting in it turning over with the 3 batteries hitting the floor. She helped me pick them up. I told them I planned on picking up 2 more next week but not at that location. Service has Never been that bad in the years I've gone through in the past. She deserves a 5 and the other employees on duty deserve zero if it was on the scale. Advance Auto Parts, y'all can do better at this Matthews location.

I had to get something from them but decided to get a few other things while I'm in there but I really have to go pee and I cannot take my time and shop for multiple items if I really have to go, so I asked the old blonde lady and the mid age black guy wearing the "tacticool" American flag patch baseball cap if I could please use their restroom since I cannot think clearly. Well they didn't care, they are still using the COVID as an excuse, meanwhile none of the employees are wearing mask anymore. So I went next door to their competition and use their bathroom and had to go back to at least get washer fluid that the competitor did not had and they look at me and went like "oh he is back". Yeah well not for your great customer service just for the one thing that I needed most and done. I will not go back to that location. The stallings one is way better. P.S. side note, I overheard (as she was loud as hell), on the phone saying to someone, " just remember that I will not be here in two weeks and hold on one second I think this customers needs to ask for something"
