He asked me what type of car I have and I told him. Automatically he showed me a high priced one and said this was all they had. I told him that their website directed me to this location because they had the kind that I wanted in stock. He said no again. I showed him the website. Then he tells me his computer shows a note saying to call a specialist before installation so they cant do it and I need to call the dealership. I ask him for proof of that in writing. Nothing. I asked if corporate would know and he says I can call them if I want. I called and they were closed. So I called the dealership to the make of my car, and they said they never heard of that and there is nothing specific with my car that I need a dealership to confirm or advise on a battery change. I called my fiance to meet me and when he showed up, then answers were produced. The battery I wanted is in stock now all of a sudden, but they can install it but because where it sits in the front of my car...they dont wont to mess up anything. So we looked at each other and contemplated just pulling out the lot and going to Auto Zone but since we were here we got out. The first door we pulled on was locked so we went to the other door and were able to get in. As soon as we walked in, an employee walked out and locked the door behind him. We realized they were closed. But instead of kicking us out, they graciously helped us. The guy took his time and didn't rush us or anything. He went over the different options of batteries and prices. Tested the old battery which took some time. Apparently the car battery was beyond dead. Customer service will win me over EVERY SINGLE TIME. And this guy was friendly and didn't make us feel bad about coming in after they were closed either. And turns out - their gold line battery was $50 cheaper than auto zone.

I called up there first to get pricing over the phone and she had me on hold for 10 minutes. I ended up driving there while on hold snd she had noone in her line, just talking to her employees. Their machines was having problems and she was taking her frustration out on her employees and customers. Malcolm is usually very friendly and super helpful but he was in the back and Tony was managing the front. My thing is this is learn how to communicate without customers feeling your stress. Every time i see her in there I will ask for service/help from someone else. You can tell she truly doesn't care about Customers. I hope other locations has a better representation of a Supervisor.

As I am leaving I see the parts I need. I ask the associates and I was told that Eric had pulled the parts. He works there and pulls parts for his clients leaving everyone else without a shot at getting first chance to get their parts. LKQ if you are going to pull parts and leave the General public with left overs, pull your body parts first and then post the vehicles as you have left it. Don't post a whole vehicle when your customers don't have a chance to get the parts for themselves.
