Initially, I was pleased with the job he did. Little did I know the personal Hell this transaction would become over the next 18 months. Not only has this man and his team proven themselves to be unable to do the job correctly, but they have also demonstrated through their actions to be dishonest, unethical, unprofessional, and very cruel. The problems with the stereo and alarm systems started almost immediately. The stereo would skip, and different screens would pop up when I would turn the car on, and sometimes the screen would be blank, so I would have to restart the car to get to the stereo. The alarm would sometimes churp different tones, which Peter indicated was a sensor issue, and the starter button would set off my alarm a lot of the time. Fast forward 2024. The alarm stopped working all together so Peter agreed to replace it. ** The second alarm is now malfunctioning ** So many long visits to AudioMasters, I was patient and respectful with this man. The last week in September, 2024, my stereo wireless stopped working, the volume went up and down by itself, screen flashed on and off. The next day, I called Peter. No answering machine, and He would not respond to my texts, I verified he received them. He just chose not call me back. Then the stereo stopped working all together. No CarPlay, no music. After a week of being ignored, I was able to speak with Peter. Peter acknowledged the problem, offered to replace the defective stereo. Another week passed. October 4, I got this text from Peter: "Morning Marcus, Just left the warehouse with the new radio and headed back to charlotte. Ill text you when I'm on the way to you." That was the last time I heard from Peter, or AudioMasters. I spoke with an employee, he put me on hold for 30 minutes. I called back, they have call waiting, they would not pick up. I had someone else call from another number, and they picked up.

I was able to remain efficient while working. I was able to listen to Nate handle calls over the phone while I was waiting. So kind and professional. He listened patiently and answered questions with care. He's the right person to have at the front desk for sure. Despite the lure of 'convenience' offered by the nationwide company, DC Automotive Glass replacement at the dealership is my go-to choice. Here's why: Office manager Renee is top-notch working with insurance companies and providing timely customer updates. She advocates for OEM replacement coverage with claims management when appropriate (e.g. newer/leases). The customer is the focus (not the profit margin or claim close speed rate of the administrative third party) and parts and labor prices are reasonable/competitive. Vehicles with advanced safety features require calibration which is most reliably performed by the dealership. Audis can be particularly tricky. Jeremy & Joshua work collaboratively with my dealer for post-replacement calibration and they with my service advisor collectively don't send me on the road with a suboptimal calibration comprising safety and requiring the time drain of a return visit for error code re-work. I've used them 3-4 times and will do so again when needed. They do good work.
