As far as the staff goes, it's the blind leading the blind. You are on your own at this store. They have the typical selection that every Autozone store has, but the staff are not able to assist you, unless they can find the answer directly from their computer. read more

I went to Auto zone in Broadway and Camino Seco in late December to have them help change out a battery. They ended up shorting out the entire ECM of my Volkswagen Atlas. This cost $2k to fix. They tried for hours to figure out why the battery wouldn't allow the car to start up. When this was brought up to the store manager, he said that it was above him and it needed to be submitted to his regional director. This was done. They did not respond to my complaint for a month until I emailed again. Next communication month later, did not respond. It told my story over and over again when the claim was submitted, there was no compensation whatsoever for their mistake. No accountability. 4 months later and the claim was denied. I am at $2k for their mistake. I hope that people think twice rather than go to this location; it turns out the person in charge of changing my battery was not qualified in the first place and was only there temporary. I hope someone figures out a way to compensate me. read more

On the holiday my car wouldn't start and I was pretty sure it was the battery. I got a jump start and headed here grateful they were open. I'm terrible with car issues and having a less than 2 year old car not starting was concerning. The place was swamped. The poor employees were literally running around like maniacs. The phones were ringing off the hook and there was a line inside. But they still kept their cool and graciously helped each person. Including testing my battery and putting the new one in. This AutoZone is brand, spankin', new. It still smells like construction a little bit, even. They used to be located down the street a tad and on the other side of Broadway in a strip mall, so this location, which is a stand-alone, suits them much better. It seems bigger. It's brighter (yes, I like stores with good lighting), and it's cleaner (hopefully it stays that way, but it is an auto parts store). We had a tail light go out on us late one night about two weeks ago, and wanted it replaced right away to avoid being pulled over. We headed over to this store for the part. They didn't have the same exact bulb that was already in the car, but the friendly staff member helped us out quickly. He found that their system had two bulb choices listed, but he wasn't entirely sure which one would be best. He gave us his recommendation as to which seemed closer, but to be sure, we purchased both anyway. It turns out, he was exactly right! We tried his recommended part first, and it was perfect. About a week later, we brought the other set back, and the same man quickly and easily refunded us for it. Hassle-free all around, and we appreciate him taking the time to help us pick the correct part. I honestly don't know how Auto Zone's prices compare to the other auto part stores' around town. To me, they seem just fine, but I'm not as much of a bargain hunter as I used to be. They seem to have a good selection of items. They have a lot of their own branded batteries. However, the most important part to me is that they were open late-ish, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and my problem was solved in under an hour, including installing the part! read more

I came here because my battery light came on and I wanted to get my battery tested. I had questions regarding my battery test and recommendation for a new one. The cashier who rang me up was polite enough but the man handling the battery testing and replacement had no answers or even communication with me when my left guy stayed on after the replacement. Turns out my battery was just fine, my alternator belt had been destroyed and replacing it fixed everything. Wouldn't recommend the advice here. I had gone to another auto zone about 2 months ago and this guy helped me and my uncle pick out headlights for my car. The guy didn't make sure it was the right one or look at my car at all. So for a while I was stuck with 1 headlight out. Then today I went into this auto zone and they were very polite and asked me what type of car I had. They helped me pick which headlight was the best for my car. I remembered that was the same one they recommended to me so I told them the story and they told me my car is option 2. They even let me return the other lights without a receipt and got me the lights I actually needed. They installed them for me and just made my irritated day so much better! If you ever choose an auto zone I highly recommend this one! Thank you Darrell and Nicholas for helping me get the right headlight and making my day so much better! I went in for a battery. I called before and asked about price matching Walmart and the guy I spoke to said yes we price match. I went in and the sales manager I spoke to when I asked about the price matching he said we won't price match Walmart because their warranty only covers 1 free exchange when that's not true. auto zone warranty is unlimited replacement with in the in my case first 3 years from date of purchace where Walmart is based is off the date and serial number of battery. so if I buy from Walmart and take it in 2 years later for being bad my warranty and 3 year free replacement starts all over again. it's not based off the original purchase date like Autozone. plus Walmart the same battery was $70.00 cheaper. so $70.00 better warranty yea no question about where I got my battery. I also went to the Autozone in Vail by Walmart and asked about the price matching there and the PSM sales manager "Gray shirt" asked me if Walmart is cheaper why Not get battery at Walmart. I said Walmart doesn't install and I use to work for Autozone and I know Autozone price matches. These managers Need to learn customer service. I will never go to the broadway or Vail store again. read more

I do not understand why this store has only 3 stars. They've always helped me, even coming out to my car if I cannot get a light in correctly. Today I was sitting at my condo and two Mexican girls asked me to jump start them. They had to get back to Sonora today and had been visiting condo owners there for several days leaving their car sit. My car was not enough to charge their battery and they had previously gone to AutoZone to get jumper cables. I drove to AutoZone to get oil and coolant for my car and informed them that the girls were stranded not being able to get car started. An employee at that AutoZone drove his truck 3 blocks to the condo complex to help the girls unbeknownst to me at the time. I stopped by to see how they were after adding fluids to my car at AutoZone and they were smiling cause there was the guy from AutoZone going out of his way to help. Got my battery tested and then replaced in no time. Very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this AutoZone!

Every time I've come into this place the staff have been amazing and this week was no different. Victoria and Steve both excel in customer service. When I came in thinking my battery was going out, Steve ran some tests, it turned out to be my starter and after talking with my car guy, I came back and Victoria ordered my part. When I came back to pick up my starter, Steve put on new windshield wipers and filled my coolant. I never felt rushed and they took time to explain things. I would highly recommend them to others and I will be back. read more

We went to get a abettery for my daughter I law and grand baby. They were too lazy to change the battery because the cables needed cleaning. Their laziness left her needing a jump later at night. We went and got the battery tested elsewhere the next day to find out the positive post was cracked and the battery was dead. Don't use this autozone read more

Absolutely thrilled with the service I was given here yesterday. My battery died 3 days in a row and I brought it here to get a new one put in under warranty. In 15 minutes I was on the road again and at Christmastime when they are so busy! It was also GREAT to have a female sales associate at Autozone. read more

Every time I try to buy windshield wiper blades here they tell me I can't buy the blades alone and I have to buy the complete assembly. When I tell them I will buy them somewhere else they magically find a set in the back. This has happened 3 times. I feel bad for people that don't know any better and pay their hard earned money for new blade assemblies when their old ones are perfectly good. read more
