I'm new to the area and came in with my son twice and once by myself. All the employees are nice and helpful. The store is clean and organized. First time we came in was to test my alternator and battery for my Toyota FJ Cruiser that I bought a few months ago in Las Vegas and moved here to retire. My battery terminals were not good , so I bought some replacements. After installing I came back in to have them tested and also picked up new Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs. Funny thing is on the package there is a picture of a deer in the headlights and the night after I installed them we were coming from Crest grocery store and a deer jumped out in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes and missed him by about 2 feet maybe. The day we were installing the battery terminals , my son dropped one of the nuts and it went under the battery tray. We went to AutoZone to get a replacement nut and also one of the telescoping magnetic pickup tools for the next time something like this happens. One of the employees opened one of the packages and just gave us the missing nut with no charge. Everyone here in Mustang reminds me of the nice and polite people I grew up with in small town South Carolina. It feels like home. read more

Man these guys are the best! Ibwas in early one morning, and the commerical parts sales person helped me. He was unbelievable and I cannot say enough good things. I'd had an issue with my battery and the one I brought in to be tested was lost. Never a good thing, but he went above and beyond to make me happy with my service and he created a loyal shopper. I don't live that close, but I'll go the extra distance to have the pleasure of the service I was provided at this location off Mustang Road. read more

I popped in the other day for a battery. They had what I needed in stock and I was out the door in 10 minutes. It's a clean store that appears well stocked. While I don't appreciate having to spend $200 for a battery, they did a good job. Batteries are just overpriced these days. Nonetheless, I'll use them again. read more

Always a great experience when I come to Autozone off Mustang road. With it being winter the staff was so welcoming and installed my battery when I told them I would do it due it being so cold. Out the worst day they made me feel like it will get better. Big shout out to Tony he is always so willing to help out. read more

I love AutoZone at a company but the lady I had the misfortune of getting as my cashier didn't even try what I had asked her to do and just say their looking at me confused because she doesn't know how her own system works..... I would've understood if she tried and showed me she couldn't do what I was asking but she literally got everything to the counter that I needed and then proceeded to stare at the screen. Then said "all I can do is 10% off" when I came up there for 20% off coupon like this is some sort of bargain. She didn't even try lmfao that's why I'm bent, I asked if we could do math and figure it out but she just tried to explain how her system works rather than trying ANYTHING!! read more

8 minutes agoNEW After a recent ice storm, my car sat in the garage for days in the below freezing tempos with a battery meant for the hooter climates. Needless to say. My car battery did not start up and being a GIG Worker I was limited on funds. I went to the closest auto parts store and they had a battery that was out of my reach and he was not willing to see if he could find another battery in his realm I could purchase. I'm new to the area and then remembered seeing an Auto Zone a few blocks away. I wish I would have started here first. Even though the battery was not in stock, Tony took the time to research and help me locate the battery. Then. Instead of me driving to it, he transferred it t9 the store for me. Now he is doing the install as well. I'm an old lady, so Iit is not the cute factor motivating him. It is the customer service that drives him. MUSTANG AUTO ZONE, keep Tony and others like him. It's always a concern of mine with anything automotive to avoid getting ripped off. We all hear of shady mechanics and have seen those news stories of people being taken advantage of. A good and honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold, and by that same token, so is an auto parts store. I've found that with this Autozone. It's not the store chain per se, it's the people employed. I've been going to this store for years and have interacted with multiple employees. Each time, especially with the older employees, they have treated me with respect and honesty. The older employees warm my heart because they treat me like their nephew, and give me pointers and advice, much like I would envision happening under a shade tree somewhere working on an old truck together. Whatever the problem, they put things into perspective. It might be a hundred dollar repair, but it could always be worse. I appreciate that. Lastly they don't try to sell you things you don't need to get the job done and of course they perform diagnostic, battery checks etc without any charge and always with a smile. I just really like the employees and if you're looking for an auto store, might I suggest trying this one out and seeing what you think. read more

My wife's newer Tahoe had just done something strange and generated a check engine light. Since I previously had good service at this location (checking my engine light code after it had shut off), I asked her to swing by and have them run the diagnostic check on the computer. By the time she arrived, the light had gone off. When she asked them to check it, they turned her away and told her that the computer would have cleared it out since the light went off...and that the problem had fixed itself. I bet this guy's paycheck that if I had been the person to walk through the doors he would have spent the few minutes that it took the guy down the road at O'Reillys to find out that she actually had an engine problem that we need to have fixed. Based on the previous review I read on here, I'm also going to go out on a "limb" that the "older employee" that helped her today was the same one who wrote that last review. Seriously, who thinks about doing things under a shade tree with the AutoZone guy after shopping there? read more
