If I could rate this company any lower I would. I recently had a Dodge 3500 5.9L Cummins engine…read morereplaced at over $7,700.00. I flew down from Colorado to drive this truck back after the rebuild job was finished. On my way back I noticed that it was leaking antifreeze from a heater hose. After getting back to Colorado I checked the oil levels and noticed that it was a gallon low. Come to find out it was leaking out around the dipstick tubule due to a faulty O-ring seal. Not even 3,000 miles later the flex plate tore out of the center and damaged the torque converter. At 3500 miles I had it serviced for an oil change. The technician informed me that the oil plug on the drain pan wasn't fastened securely and had it not been magnetized it would have vibrated off. At around 3,800 miles the harmonic balancer pulley completely fell off with 1 of the bolts missing and the other 3 were completely sheared off in the crankshaft due to being improperly torqued. I have contacted the owner of this company in regards to these issues on a new remanufactured engine and was met with a very unfriendly reply. The owner Barry claimed it wasn't any fault of his own and aside from his incessant cussing was not willing to remedy the issue. He was incredibly rude and could not admit to the faulty job his company had done on my engine. The flex plate is the backbone of the motor and handles the torque from the engine before it goes through the torque converter and transmission. Barry claimed the flex plate has nothing to do with handling torque and that the transmission alone was the backbone of the engine, which made me realize he has absolutely no idea how these engines and their components work. His son Brody, had requested for me to bring it back to them which was over 800 miles away and they would only replace the O-ring on the dipstick, instead of allowing me to bring it to a local shop and have them reimburse the cost of repairs.

Read the reviews before shopping here. On 11/20/2025, I purchased a 2017 Tahoe from this company…read morethat I found on cargurus.com and still have not received it, because of different repairs that were uncovered after I signed. I get different timelines on when it is to be delivered. Today is 12/11/25 and it's been nearly 3 weeks. I do not recommend this company.

Beware of Brinson Chevrolet. In September of 2024 I purchased a brand-new Chevy 2500 diesel truck…read more Brinson was pretty much the only local dealer that had a truck in stock close to what I wanted. After 3 hours in dealership while they checked my trade and we agreed on price they came out with contract and added in two protection plans from Portfolio for theft and Glass that totaled $1,399. I told them I did not want it but the salesman Michael and Finance manager Presley said every car they sell comes with this package and I must purchase it or they won't sell me the truck. I was going on vacation and needed the truck so I bought it instead of waiting to hunt for another truck so yes I bought the plan because if I did not they would not sell but in hindsight I should have walked away I was given a small photo copy of a brochure saying they will fix or replace for free. I reluctantly agreed because the truck was marked down about $3,000 and I probably will go through a few windshields during the course of the plan, right? Well, a rock finally hit the windshield and they said they will try and repair and if it does not work, they will replace. The repair did not work. I said ok. Well, it looks the same as it did and far as I am concerned it did not work. In fact, there is a chip out of windshield you can feel when you run your fingernail across it deep enough to file your fingernail. I asked for a new windshield and they said no. they can epoxy a crack or chip up to 2"?? this was not discussed or none of the information given stated that. I asked them to refund my money and they said no. I also asked them to look into their records and see that every car they sold in that time frame was sold with same warranty and Manager said he des not want to because he is afraid to find out. Only offer I was given was they will split the cost of a new windshield with me. The new GM Michael and the New service manager will not return my calls. I asked for a refund and they said no. I did inform them I was going to bring this to another level and escalate this with the owner and he said the owner said no to this. I would also like to comment when I bought the truck, they charged me for 2-year registration and only gave me 1 year sticker and that took me 4 phone calls to get a check sent out for that!!! I am curious has anyone else been pressured by this dealership to by worthless protection plans they will not stand behind? If so, I would love to know and if we all complain something may get done. Brinson has lost all my future business and they do not stand behind what they sell also pics are not that good because it is real hard to take pics of a rock chip. pics are after repair was done.

It's obvious that the owner of this business does care about reviews or they would have done…read moresomething about the terrible customer service by now. I had to work so my wife took our 2016 Ford F150 here for an oil change. I assure you I wish Walmart was open. She waited an hour before the work began and then another half hour to complete the work. REALLY, A FREAKING HOUR AND A HALF FOR AN OIL CHANGE!?!?!?!?! Then once they began and were already into the job, my wife was informed that they did not have the correct oil filter for our truck. She was not given the opportunity to halt the job, or to get a discount for the extreme inconvenience, she was told that the old filter would be placed back on and that she would have to go somewhere else to buy a filter and either put it on herself or have someone put it on. This to me sounds like the age old, "She's just a woman and don't know any better" thing. I would not recommend this business for any of it's services. I will not take my business back to them. The oil change was $82 total and that's without the oil filter. At Walmart we paid $45 for the entire thing including the oil filter. I don't know who these people think they are but I for one will spread the word.....STAY AWAY! And in reading other reviews, It is obvious that this place has a serious racket in overpriced services. These people, this owner should be very ashamed for treating people, including our military this way.
