My car recently broke down, and because I currently do not have transportation, I scheduled a mobile mechanic to come to my home to replace my fuel pump, brake pads, and rotors. To make everything as smooth as possible, I called this AutoZone ahead of time, provided my vehicle information, and asked them to put the correct parts aside so my mom could simply go in, pay for them, and bring them to me before my appointment. Unfortunately, when the mechanic arrived and began the repair, we discovered that the parts we were given were incorrect. When I called the store to verify the part number, the part number they had on their end was completely different from the part that had actually been set aside and sold to us. By this point, it was around 8 PM, and we were scrambling to figure out how to exchange the incorrect parts while my mechanic was already there. Since transportation was already an issue for me, this made the situation even more stressful. We decided to go to the Kapolei AutoZone to get the correct parts. What is most frustrating is that I now have to schedule another appointment with the mobile mechanic to complete the repairs because of an error that could have been avoided by making sure the correct parts were set aside in the first place. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a customer calls ahead specifically to verify and reserve parts because they are dealing with a broken down vehicle and limited transportation, accuracy is extremely important. This mistake cost us additional time, inconvenience, and another mechanic appointment read more

I was having trouble starting my car so I took out the battery and took it to Auto Zone. The sales person took my battery in to charge and test it. A few hours later, I received a call and was notified that my battery needed replacing. She gave me options on that brand and the quality of the battery would be compatible with my car. I bought the battery with the most amperage and warranty period. She had awesome customer service and patience. Sorry, I didn't get her name to give her a recognition. read more

So one of my blinker lights came out of its socket and it fell inside the casing of the headlight tried to use different types of tools to pull it out but no luck, I was just going to leave it there and buy another bulb to replace so I went to auto zone. Shout out to Dex , he went out of his way to help me get the bulb out and he suggested I replace my connector since it was going bad. Both blinker light bulbs and connector have been replaced. We have used AutoZone in Ewa for a few years for parts and to get a battery checked out to see if it's good or needs to be replaced. They are awesome offering these services! Yesterday I went into the store and Rudy helped me by checking the system to see if the rear motor wiper was available for purchase. Even though he looked up the part number and checked the system to see it wasn't available, he didn't hesitate to see the whole process through. Just wanted to give him kudos for all his help and recommendations to try to find the parts. Thank you Teresa read more

I Had a dead battery still under warranty. Rodolfo (Rudy) was such a "Big Help" when it came to replacing the dead battery. He was so helpful in getting me in and out of the store in a reasonable amount of time as I had a very important medical appointment that I could not, nor would not cancel at any cost!!!! Thank you, Rudy for making that day so much easier on me and relieving the stress that had built up when I discovered I had a dead battery. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK AND THANK YOU!!!!! read more

I needed to change my car battery because it was baaaaaddddd. I'm still within my warranty period so I went down to AutoZone in Ewa Beach and Dexter was willing to assist me with everything! He offered to do everything with no hesitation! He tested my battery to make sure it was bad (which it was) and he offered to take my old car battery out and put the new one in. He saved me the hassle of calling or finding someone to take out the old battery and input the new one (I'm a woman, I don't know how to do these things, lol). He is so helpful and I greatly appreciate all the help. I highly recommend coming to AutoZone in Ewa Beach to get all your auto needs because of Dexter! He made my visit pleasant and easy going. I was in and out of the store within 15 minutes! Go check them out! read more

Last month, I was visiting home, and everything has changed with the new developments. Thank you, Manager, Shantel (sp) for taking the time to assist with diagnosing my sister's 2004 Camry car, last month. The battery was replaced by your team member and a price list for items that needed repair. Much Mahalo's for your assistance and friendly service!! We greatly appreciate it! read more

Never let me down and always got my rewards for for my parts. So I can used it to buy parts or discounts.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but my experience here wasn't at all pleasant. I needed to switch out my car battery due to it died & it was still under warranty. I called & explained my predicament. The gentleman who helped me had been extremely tacky & straight up rude. Maybe because I was a female caller? Maybe because they were busy? Who knows. Nevertheless, my husband went in to get the battery, another person (male) helped him & was able to get my battery without any hassle. Even got a full refund for the battery he purchased after he returned the dead one. read more

I bought a new car battery from this location. They charged me an extra $25 because "they refund you for the old car battery" when you bring it back. They said I did not need to bring any receipt or information with me to return the old battery for the refund. I came to return my battery and they told me they do not do refunds anymore without info because "that was our old system". Waste of time and I feel scammed out of $25 for no reason. Communication or training seem all over the place here. I would avoid if I were you. read more

My car was in dire need of a new battery and I almost had it towed to a nearby auto repair shop because I thought it was the starter or something major. Luckily for me when the tow truck guy came to tow it, but he got it started and told me that I just had to replace the battery. So I called AutoZone if they had a battery for my car in stock and they did. Yes I'm one of them that knows nothing about cars and need assistance in anything relating to cars. With the other half busy at work and my immediate need to solve my own problem I asked if I could get some help in changing my battery because I had no clue on how to do it. One of the girls there (so sorry I forgot her name) helped me by doing it for me even though they aren't suppose to. I am so grateful for her help and commend her in going above and beyond her job duties to help me. Thank you, thank you very much!! read more

Very bad business, I first ordered parts for my car, then they said it would be in 2 days later, I got no call etc., I called and No part came in. they called me on the 4th day saying it arrived. I scheduled my car for repair, got a call from the mechanic saying that out of 4 parts that I needed for my car and I ordered, 3 of them were wrong 2 of them were the same part, and the last one was wrong. The mechanic had to go and pick up the part(s) for me and do the install. Now I ended up paying $280.00 more for parts because Auto Zone messed up, not to mention the time waiting then only to return the parts in the end they were wrong. I was led to believe that the parts were shipped in (paid for that $45.00) and now needed to be returned because it was NOT checked, a friend of mine said he had the same issue with Auto Zone, the part that was in the box wasn't for his car. Terrible terrible service and time wasted. Never again.... read more

I love autozone but the location of where it is located is a little sketch just because I have my son with me. I had to change the battery on my other half's vehicle a little past 7pm and it was a little dark. The reason why I say sketch is in the middle of changing the battery a dude walked up behind to ask if I want to buy a battery. Why would someone buy a battery without warranty? Anyways my other half called autozone prior me evening getting there. It was easy ! They gave me the parts I gave them my id for their "security " due to the fact that it was dark, I changed the battery and voilà! read more

There are very few places left where human interaction and service are paramount. My wife's SUV needed a battery ... and the idea of installing it in a newer car (with all kinds of wiring and such) was very daunting. They offer that service at AutoZone. The sales person was friendly, helpful and capable. She got the battery installed in about ten minutes. Absolutely would not accept a tip. This, along with the fact that they CLEARLY post the name of the manager and regional manager at the door at most locations makes AutoZone my auto parts store of choice. read more

I've been to this store a couple times and always received great service from every worker for all the issues my car brings up. Tonight was the deal breaker for me to write a 5-star review! My battery died conveniently right in front of Longs in the parking lot next to this Autozone location. I was stuck and could not do anything (my insurance quoted me 300 minute arrival for help). Regardless, the two employees working tonight went out of their way to help test my battery and provided me tools to be able to replace the battery. They were short staffed and went out of their way to help me fix my battery issues which was awesome of them to do. I appreciate you two and I'm very thankful you guys were open till 10. Nothing but positive praise for this store and it's employees. read more

two weeks ago I special ordered some parts that were at another store. a week went by no calls. I came by they dont know what happened, so I ordered again. again a week went by and nothing so I came by and nothing. so I canceled my order( half of it was charged and the other wasn't. It seems they don't know what they're doing nor do they care. ( They didn't say sorry for the inconvenience) so I went to their competition less than a mile away and got my three parts later that day. read more

After a bad experience at another location, it was a breath of fresh air to go to the AutoZone at the Ewa Beach location. Upon entering, the shop was clean and well organized. I noticed another customer being cheerfully greeted and quickly helped by one of the clerks. Rudy came out to our car to test our battery. After learning it was no longer holding a charge, he helped us purchase a new battery and installed it for us. While doing the installation, it began to rain in the parking lot, but he still finished the job with a smile and a positive attitude. Great guy! We will continue to come here because of the great customer service! read more

Terrible customer service. Was told i could return car seat covers if they did not fit properly as ling as i have my reciept. Signed up for email reciept so i would have on record and not a little peice of paper i could lose. Well they did mot send me a email receipt. So now when wanting to bring the purchase back they said "no reciept no return". You folks have my card purchase infor, my name, and number in your system but now all of a sudden you can verify my purchase??? Shaddy way of doing business. read more

The times I've come in I was helped by people who were so willing to assist me. I can't remember whether his name was Justin, but the customer satisfaction rep helped me change out my battery and Bev K assisted me with changing brake light. It's helpful to have a place for help with these things, but because they help you right outside the store, you also see how to get things done. Thank you autozone!!!! read more

After needing a jump in the morning yesterday I went to purchase a battery. Lans was super helpful as I really didn't know what I was looking for and she even changed out the battery for me!! Before changing it she looked at my battery and said something was loose and asked me to start the car because it might've just been loose. Though that wasn't the case (it really was dead) she made me feel like she wasn't trying to make her sale and actually cared about true customer service. Talk about going above and beyond!! Thank you Lans!! read more

I went to Autozone in Ewa Beach today to get a portable tire pump. I really don't know much about cars, so I was feeling a little lost. One of the employees (forgot to get name, that's how lost I was) came outside with me to my car, and showed me how to use it. He checked all my tires for me, not just the one that was really low on air. He made sure the were all filled up to the pressure they were supposed to be. Thank you so much! read more

Fernando was super helpful!! I called in the morning to inquire if they would be able to change my car battery. He got my car make & model then let me know they could help. But before having me come in, he suggested that I call my car dealership to check if my battery was under warranty. I thought that was really nice of him to make that recommendation as most places would have probably just taken my money. Turns out my battery wasn't covered under warranty so I ended up going to Auto Zone. When I got to the store, Fernando remembered our phone conversation & helped me right away. He helped me with my transaction & let me know that they offered Military Discount so I was able to utilize that benefit. He then quickly changed my battery & I was on my way! I highly recommend Auto Zone Ewa Beach. Ask for Fernando if you can! He's amazing :) read more

Really disappointed when you go somewhere because of the customer service you get and then one day you go and you have to deal with a manager who feels that it's not necessary to inform a customer that policies have changed and not you have to rent the parts to make a tool useable separately and acts like you don't know what you're talking about and sits there and talks himself in circles when u catch him in a lie read more

Bought a $180 battery in late November 2020 from these guys and today April 22, 2021 my car is dead. Had guys from roadside assistance jump my car and they said that because my car is new (2017 Lexus IS350), the battery is likely bad. Drove my car to Autozone who metered my battery and the reading showed the battery had 66% power/juice. They refused to warranty my battery and/or replace it and instead accused me of leaving something on in my car. I guess they didn't realized that I wasn't blind, deaf or that nowadays cars will typically let you know if that happens by 'ding dinging' you to death. What you will get from these guys are poor customer service, poor business acumen and zero value. Don't buy from these guys. BTW zero stars aren't an option boooo! read more

The workers seem like they don't want to be there at all, no "hello, have you found everything you needed?" Or just a simple hello. After purchasing my items no "thank you, come again" not even a thank you. Handing my receipt he had an attitude of will you hurry the f**k up kind of attitude. I'll go waipahu autozone or oreillys, never coming back to ewa autozone. I don't recommend anyone either. read more

Running errands, went to Longs with auto zone in same area. Thank God as my battery went dead. Charles K to the rescue and within the 1/2 hour I was up and running. I love this location, the customer service is exemplary and everyone knows what they are doing, their inventory and expediency. Thank you Auto Zone, Ewa Beach for my 2nd time needing a new battery, two different vehicles and they replaced it for me as well. Use this location...the best on the island! read more

Finally glad these guys open up deep in the heart of Ewa Beach. I went in the first day they were open. Staff was anxious to provide great customer service. I had 3 people helping me get what I needed. Windshield wipers. I was asked what kind of car I had and was told what wipers were available. There was many to choose from. Way more options than I'm use to seeing. So, I decide what I'd like to get. I was then asked if they could put them on for me. I said "Shoots brah, go for it". I went to Longs to get a little shopping done. Didn't take long and I was out quick. The new wipers were already on. Great, just in time too because it just started raining again. read more

The customer service and atmosphere at Autozone Ewa Beach is great!!! All of the employees are so friendly and always smiling. Much better service than other auto part stores where a guy just sits behind a counter and looks as if he doesn't want to be there. I was looking for a set of front brake rotors for my car, so I went to O'Reillys. They quoted me $163 each, and would take about a week to come in. I decided to check out Autozone, and they said they have the rotors for $41.99 each, and would take 3 days. I was more than happy with the price and faster shipping so ordered and payed for it in store. The very next day around lunch time, I get a voicemail from a lady at autozone saying my brakes came in! I was amazed! It only took over night to get the brakes in! I went down and picked it up, and they looked great! I will be installing them on my next free day. What's also really cool about autozone is that they have an awesome reward card program. It was free to sign up, and the employee told me that you get $20 for every $100 that you spend. How sweet is that! Autozone will now be my first choice for auto parts on the island. Don't worry townies...they are opening one on Salt Lake soon too! Mahalos Autozone crew! read more

Alright, so I called around 11am to get "Timken" wheel bearings for my car since I used to buy them from AutoZone in the past, and they're known for being the best wheel bearings. Anyway, the guy told me they had one "Timken" in stock and would have to get the second one from town. He told me it takes about 2 hrs to get it from town. I asked him to get the second one sent over and I'll take both, but he said they don't do this for people who haven't paid yet. He said he would put the one they had on the side for me though. Ok, I go in to get the one bearing they had in stock and pay for the second one to get sent over... When I get there, I give them my name and what part was on hold for me. Not only did the guys there not know who I was or have the part put aside, they didn't even have Timken bearings anymore. WTF!? They don't even carry Timken! The name Timken must have been said at least 10 times between the two of us on the phone before the call was over! I left pretty PO, especially since they didn't even apologize. Thanks for nothing. I thought I might have made a mistake, so I recalled the number I called at 11, and it was indeed the same AutoZone. Lame guys, lame. I guess quality workers are hard to find. read more

Excellent customer service by Nick. He went above and beyond selling me the necessary small parts to get my car to start again. He tested my battery and told me that it was still good. Saved me a lot of money. Then he recommended the appropriate pieces and cleaning sprays to get rid of the corrosion from the terminals. He was patient with me and very knowledgeable about parts. Very rare to find great customer service. I completely agree with the other posts about customer service from this location though. My experience the last time was not great. The sales associate was not friendly and really rude. Hopefully, this sales manager can set the standard for the other staff. read more
