So one of my blinker lights came out of its socket and it fell inside the casing of the headlight tried to use different types of tools to pull it out but no luck, I was just going to leave it there and buy another bulb to replace so I went to auto zone. Shout out to Dex , he went out of his way to help me get the bulb out and he suggested I replace my connector since it was going bad. Both blinker light bulbs and connector have been replaced. I Had a dead battery still under warranty. Rodolfo (Rudy) was such a "Big Help" when it came to replacing the dead battery. I needed to change my car battery because it was baaaaaddddd. I'm still within my warranty period so I went down to AutoZone in Ewa Beach and Dexter was willing to assist me with everything! He offered to do everything with no hesitation! He tested my battery to make sure it was bad (which it was) and he offered to take my old car battery out and put the new one in. He saved me the hassle of calling or finding someone to take out the old battery and input the new one (I'm a woman, I don't know how to do these things, lol). Very bad business, I first ordered parts for my car, then they said it would be in 2 days later, I got no call etc., I called and No part came in. they called me on the 4th day saying it arrived. I scheduled my car for repair, got a call from the mechanic saying that out of 4 parts that I needed for my car and I ordered, 3 of them were wrong 2 of them were the same part, and the last one was wrong. The mechanic had to go and pick up the part(s) for me and do the install. Now I ended up paying $280.00 more for parts because Auto Zone messed up, not to mention the time waiting then only to return the parts in the end they were wrong. I was led to believe that the parts were shipped in (paid for that $45.00) and now needed to be returned because it was NOT checked, a friend of mine said he had the same issue with Auto Zone, the part that was in the box wasn't for his car. I bought a new car battery from this location. They charged me an extra $25 because "they refund you for the old car battery" when you bring it back. They said I did not need to bring any receipt or information with me to return the old battery for the refund. I came to return my battery and they told me they do not do refunds anymore without info because "that was our old system". Waste of time and I feel scammed out of $25 for no reason. I hate leaving bad reviews, but my experience here wasn't at all pleasant. I needed to switch out my car battery due to it died & it was still under warranty. I called & explained my predicament. The gentleman who helped me had been extremely tacky & straight up rude. Maybe because I was a female caller? Maybe because they were busy? Who knows. Nevertheless, my husband went in to get the battery, another person (male) helped him & was able to get my battery without any hassle. My car was in dire need of a new battery and I almost had it towed to a nearby auto repair shop because I thought it was the starter or something major. Luckily for me when the tow truck guy came to tow it, but he got it started and told me that I just had to replace the battery. I love autozone but the location of where it is located is a little sketch just because I have my son with me. I had to change the battery on my other half's vehicle a little past 7pm and it was a little dark. The reason why I say sketch is in the middle of changing the battery a dude walked up behind to ask if I want to buy a battery. Why would someone buy a battery without warranty? Anyways my other half called autozone prior me evening getting there. It was easy ! There are very few places left where human interaction and service are paramount. My wife's SUV needed a battery ... and the idea of installing it in a newer car (with all kinds of wiring and such) was very daunting. They offer that service at AutoZone. The sales person was friendly, helpful and capable. She got the battery installed in about ten minutes. Absolutely would not accept a tip. This, along with the fact that they CLEARLY post the name of the manager and regional manager at the door at most locations makes AutoZone my auto parts store of choice. read more

I've been to this store a couple times and always received great service from every worker for all the issues my car brings up. Tonight was the deal breaker for me to write a 5-star review! My battery died conveniently right in front of Longs in the parking lot next to this Autozone location. I was stuck and could not do anything (my insurance quoted me 300 minute arrival for help). Regardless, the two employees working tonight went out of their way to help test my battery and provided me tools to be able to replace the battery. They were short staffed and went out of their way to help me fix my battery issues which was awesome of them to do. I appreciate you two and I'm very thankful you guys were open till 10. two weeks ago I special ordered some parts that were at another store. a week went by no calls. I came by they dont know what happened, so I ordered again. again a week went by and nothing so I came by and nothing. so I canceled my order( half of it was charged and the other wasn't. It seems they don't know what they're doing nor do they care. After a bad experience at another location, it was a breath of fresh air to go to the AutoZone at the Ewa Beach location. Upon entering, the shop was clean and well organized. I noticed another customer being cheerfully greeted and quickly helped by one of the clerks. Rudy came out to our car to test our battery. After learning it was no longer holding a charge, he helped us purchase a new battery and installed it for us. While doing the installation, it began to rain in the parking lot, but he still finished the job with a smile and a positive attitude. Great guy! Terrible customer service. Was told i could return car seat covers if they did not fit properly as ling as i have my reciept. Signed up for email reciept so i would have on record and not a little peice of paper i could lose. Well they did mot send me a email receipt. So now when wanting to bring the purchase back they said "no reciept no return". I went to Autozone in Ewa Beach today to get a portable tire pump. I really don't know much about cars, so I was feeling a little lost. One of the employees (forgot to get name, that's how lost I was) came outside with me to my car, and showed me how to use it. He checked all my tires for me, not just the one that was really low on air. He made sure the were all filled up to the pressure they were supposed to be. Thank you so much! read more

Fernando was super helpful!! I called in the morning to inquire if they would be able to change my car battery. He got my car make & model then let me know they could help. But before having me come in, he suggested that I call my car dealership to check if my battery was under warranty. I thought that was really nice of him to make that recommendation as most places would have probably just taken my money. Turns out my battery wasn't covered under warranty so I ended up going to Auto Zone. When I got to the store, Fernando remembered our phone conversation & helped me right away. He helped me with my transaction & let me know that they offered Military Discount so I was able to utilize that benefit. He then quickly changed my battery & I was on my way! Bought a $180 battery in late November 2020 from these guys and today April 22, 2021 my car is dead. Had guys from roadside assistance jump my car and they said that because my car is new (2017 Lexus IS350), the battery is likely bad. Drove my car to Autozone who metered my battery and the reading showed the battery had 66% power/juice. They refused to warranty my battery and/or replace it and instead accused me of leaving something on in my car. I guess they didn't realized that I wasn't blind, deaf or that nowadays cars will typically let you know if that happens by 'ding dinging' you to death. What you will get from these guys are poor customer service, poor business acumen and zero value. Don't buy from these guys. BTW zero stars aren't an option boooo! read more

Alright, so I called around 11am to get "Timken" wheel bearings for my car since I used to buy them from AutoZone in the past, and they're known for being the best wheel bearings. Anyway, the guy told me they had one "Timken" in stock and would have to get the second one from town. He told me it takes about 2 hrs to get it from town. I asked him to get the second one sent over and I'll take both, but he said they don't do this for people who haven't paid yet. He said he would put the one they had on the side for me though. Ok, I go in to get the one bearing they had in stock and pay for the second one to get sent over... When I get there, I give them my name and what part was on hold for me. Not only did the guys there not know who I was or have the part put aside, they didn't even have Timken bearings anymore. WTF!? They don't even carry Timken! The name Timken must have been said at least 10 times between the two of us on the phone before the call was over! I left pretty PO, especially since they didn't even apologize. Thanks for nothing. I thought I might have made a mistake, so I recalled the number I called at 11, and it was indeed the same AutoZone. Lame guys, lame. I guess quality workers are hard to find. read more

Excellent customer service by Nick. He went above and beyond selling me the necessary small parts to get my car to start again. He tested my battery and told me that it was still good. Saved me a lot of money. Then he recommended the appropriate pieces and cleaning sprays to get rid of the corrosion from the terminals. He was patient with me and very knowledgeable about parts. Very rare to find great customer service. I completely agree with the other posts about customer service from this location though. My experience the last time was not great. The sales associate was not friendly and really rude. Hopefully, this sales manager can set the standard for the other staff. read more

Finally glad these guys open up deep in the heart of Ewa Beach. I went in the first day they were open. Staff was anxious to provide great customer service. I had 3 people helping me get what I needed. Windshield wipers. I was asked what kind of car I had and was told what wipers were available. There was many to choose from. Way more options than I'm use to seeing. So, I decide what I'd like to get. I was then asked if they could put them on for me. I said "Shoots brah, go for it". The customer service and atmosphere at Autozone Ewa Beach is great!!! All of the employees are so friendly and always smiling. Much better service than other auto part stores where a guy just sits behind a counter and looks as if he doesn't want to be there. I was looking for a set of front brake rotors for my car, so I went to O'Reillys. They quoted me $163 each, and would take about a week to come in. I decided to check out Autozone, and they said they have the rotors for $41.99 each, and would take 3 days. I was more than happy with the price and faster shipping so ordered and payed for it in store. The very next day around lunch time, I get a voicemail from a lady at autozone saying my brakes came in! I was amazed! It only took over night to get the brakes in! I went down and picked it up, and they looked great! I will be installing them on my next free day. What's also really cool about autozone is that they have an awesome reward card program. It was free to sign up, and the employee told me that you get $20 for every $100 that you spend. How sweet is that! Autozone will now be my first choice for auto parts on the island. Don't worry townies...they are opening one on Salt Lake soon too! Mahalos Autozone crew! read more

I am just not a very good driver. There, I said it. With that being said, this morning I made my way through a jack-in-the-box Drive thru grabbing my usually healthy and nutritious breakfast of chicken sandwiches and iced coffee and I scrape by car, my 2018 Camry, on one of them yellow barrier things. I was pissed to say the least, was the $5.01 spent on food worth the scratch? I needed a plan, and fast, because my husband would be sooooo pissed if he saw I scratched my brand-new-car. I head to autozone in hopes someone could help me. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted and I explain what's going on- they came out looked at my car and said -I think I know what will work.
