BEWARE: As a pilot that understands how to maintain and…read moreoperate costly, complex machinery, I would not take my lawnmower for routine maintenance back to this business. I took my Audi in for a routine oil change before driving to Jacksonville, FL. On the drive to Jacksonville, the low-oil annunciator came on due to the low oil level. I stopped and purchased four quarts of oil and added two. The time I killed finding a place to purchase oil almost caused me to miss my trip flying out of JAX. As I arrived at the airport, the engine required adding approximately another quart of oil. I returned my Audi 2 times to address the excessive oil leak issues at the oil plug, and I showed them pictures of where it was leaking. This should have been a no-brainer issue to repair. Twice after returning the vehicle and keeping the car for several days, they found no issue! I took the SUV to another shop on the South end of the island to have the repair done correctly within 30 minutes. We quickly discovered not only was an oil plug gasket was not installed but the oil-drained plug was stripped out from being over tightened. If a shop can not perform a routine oil change correctly, how can you be trusted to perform complex repairs correctly? Making a mistake is understandable, but not correcting the mistake after two additional times back to the shop is unacceptable.

Originally, I checked out a National Chain's website and found 4 tires on the site installed for…read more$488. I set an appointment on-line and waited for confirmation. The next morning, I got a call from them saying they didn't have the tires I had selected on line at my particular location. So I went into the shop itself and spoke with the guys there. While the tire they wanted to substitute was only $12 more, the entire thing was going to cost me almost $800. I asked what happened to the $488 price I was quoted on line and they started in with the song and dance. Needless to say we left and ended up at Duckworth. As soon as we walked in and asked about tires for my car, William immediately gave me a quote, installed, balanced and all for under $500. When my husband said our other car needed tires as well, William threw in alignments for both cars (value of about $120) free. So we ended up getting new tires for both cars for under $1,000... no fuss, no upcharging, no big sales push to get us into buying other maintenance plans. The best part was that while they were working on my car, I asked them about my tail light - which was out - and the mud-flap that was loose and told them to call me with the cost to replace the bulb and repair the mid-flap. The mudflap they couldn't repair, but they replaced the bulb for free! Now that's service.
