The problem happened again within hours and has continued to happen getting worse. I called back asking if they had an Electronics Expert. They have one who apparently floats between shops. So I'm disappointed they gave me the car back without 1. Poring through the Chrysler database to find similar cases. 2. suggesting waiting for the expert. I had to ask. I have an appointment later this month. Fingers crossed.

I got them down to a close to what I wanted OTD price, but two days later I had a question on the vehicle's capacity sticker. So, I went to the dealership and stood by the unit on the lot. I then called my salesperson (Travis) on my cellphone and asked my legitimate question about the cargo capacity sticker as it varies by vehicle and how they are equipped. I asked for a picture of it. Travis told me. "It's out on a test drive with another customer and if it doesn't sell, I'll get back to you." I was standing right next to it (while they claimed it was currently out on a test drive). I was ready to buy that day, but glad I didn't. And no, it hadn't just come back. I had been there for a couple of hours inspecting it before calling him. I got the deal I wanted elsewhere. I'm all for the nature of the business and the fact that they need to max profit and the customer max savings. But when there is bold-faced lying, that's when I walk. If you want a deal, do not go into this or any dealership at all. Do it all in writing and force them to give you the best OTD price in writing (itemized). All of the "Can I get you coffee?" while they disappear for 20 minutes at a time, is old-fashioned and stupid. There are now even AI agents that will negotiate for you under a bogus e-mail address, to start the process. Don't fall for the "schedule an appointment" nonsense. It's all a stupid tactic. In writing, get the OTD price, take it with you, then do the test drive, and finalize.

During service Tom indicated that he was not going to service the fuel system. First saying there was a recall then that he would discuss the issue with a VW tech and get nack to me. Following this conversation, I got no response. If I had known that there were certain services that he would not or could not perform, there is no way I would have brought my car there. Finding a trustworthy mechanic not to mention a VW specialist isn't easy and unfortunately this is one shop I won't use again and I can't recommend! One final note, the invoice I received listed the costs for labor and parts combined which makes charges hard to dicifer.

That Monday, 7/13, went to the place that replaced all four tires two months earlier. The sound baffled them, and they suggested going to Auto Center Unlimited where the noise could be researched better. Well, was I amazed. Amer, the owner of the shop, took the car for a spin along Route 37. Upon returning, he said "Problem Solved". Turned out, the flag that was attached to the rear roof antenna was causing the sound at high speeds. A job well done. ACL does provide a number of services for car, as specified on the Website. Needless to say, Amer proved to be a very efficient mechanic, picking up on the "Mystery Sound". I highly recommend going there for an honest evaluation. Larry L.
