Today AutoZone lost a customer with me. I had bought an alternator and upon attempting to place it into my car I noticed that it would not fit and I also noticed that the bolt to the pulley system was missing and that the alternator itself would not spin. It was faulty when I bought it. I attempted to refund the part and I was told that it was not an alternator and that it was not their part. I showed them my receipt and warranty from the day of the purchase and the manager, Caesar, still claimed that it was not his part. I used to shop at this place under the presumption that all the parts that they were selling were good and not defective. It bums me out to know that they sell faulty equipment and then refuse your service and refuse to give you a refund. I'd advise anyone shopping here or going to, to not because there's a chance they will sell you a faulty product and refuse your refund. (FYI) manager Caesar also repeated the word "n***a" to me during our conversation, I would expect more professional from a manager. read more

This Autoparts store have gone down the toilet. I have purchased many parts in the past but recently they must have hired out of desperation. The employees and managers don't have a clue what a headlight bulb looks like. They will quote you the wrong price over the phone just to get you there Once you're there they refuse to honor the price. All this from a manager. ? I even spoke to John their district manager and he must have been trained by the same person. Very unprofessional. Luckily we have Oreily's across the street and Napa that have more professional employees. Do not call or shop at this location you will just end up being upset.!!!!!!! read more

Driving home from an estate auction and a belt broke on our box truck. We limped into the parking lot and hubby went in to find out if the store carried the parts needed to replace the belt. The manager came out to take a look at the truck, helped get the parts we needed, and even lent hubby the tools he needed to make the trip. The manager at this autozone is unprofessional and rude. Today he caused a fight with a customer . He physically he hit the customer! The man deserves to be fired! I hope that the higher ups watch the video! The manager lied and said that the customer threw the battery at him, which is lie, the customer dropped the battery on the floor because the young manager swung at him. Walk in and are kicked out because we don't have a mask on. Ok. No problem. We leave and go to Target to buy a mask and come back. The lady working the counter, Susie, tells another set of people that they have to have a mask. They pull their shirts over their face and can stay. But the lady at her register doesn't even have a mask on. And she doesn't say anything to her! She has no clue. And Susies mask isn't even on right. It's not covering her nose. Another employee on the phone doesn't have his mask on either. But we have to leave to buy a mask??? I am so confused. read more

It really takes a lot for me to write a bad Yelp review, I know not all businesses are perfect and policies are not always in the favor of the customer but in the end what it all boils down to is customer service and how the customer is treated in the end. It was because of the poor customer service I received at this store that I am writing this review. I had purchased a Maguire's headlight restoration kit for my car and didn't end up needing it so I decided to return the item back, unfortunately I lost my receipt but from previous experiences at other Auto Zone stores this had never been a problem. A young man named Jose L helped me when I came into the store, I explained that I lost the receipt and asked if I could still return the item. He scanned the item and told me, "We don't even carry this item in the store." I called bullshit on him and told him to scan again, and magically the item popped up in the system. I then told him I purchased it last month, less than 30 days, to which he sarcastically remarked, "Well today is May 1st and yesterday was 'last month.'" I brushed it off, I figured maybe he lacked social skills and didn't understand that witty comments like that weren't necessary. He asked what register I made the purchase at and offered to look at the receipts for anything that had this item on it. I looked up on my credit card app to see the date of purchase and the amount to help make his search easier. I made my purchase on April 4th for $53, less than 30 days ago. He looked for a few minutes and found nothing but offered to look at the other registers. I thanked him for his effort to which he replied, "Yeah, this is really an inconvenience. It's not easy." Like seriously, who the fuck makes a comment like that to a customer? I worked in auto parts at a dealer for a few years and my bosses would never tolerate any of us making comments like that to ANYONE. Well needless to say, turns out he is one of the parts managers at this particular store which really blows my fucking mind! How can someone with such a shitty attitude be a manager? Ultimately he gave me store credit, $32 for a store I maybe shop at twice a year when I can't find the part at Napa. I filed a complaint with the regional office and was supposed to hear back from a regional manager regarding this matter but since nobody has contacted me I've decided to write this review to warn other consumers to not waste your time here. Go spend your money elsewhere where the customer is treated with respect and dignity like Napa, O'Reillys or Pep Boys. read more

Worst customer service ever. I had been going here for about a week purchasing items fixing an Escalade. Starter, Battery, Headlights, wipers, Steering wheel cover, Front Brake pads and rotors. When i got to the rotor i was having trouble getting it off because of the retaining bolt. I wasn't sure how to get it off so i went to this Auto Zone. The lady that helped me seemed to be pre occupied when i was trying to explain the situation, but eventually directed me to a socket set to try to take it off. I went home and tried to take it off but it did not work, so I went to return the product. I waited in line and when i walked up the first thing that was said to me is "what are you trying to do with that". (Keep in mind this is the SAME lady who sold me the product) No welcome to Auto zone, no how can I help you, not even a hello. I proceeded to tell her that it didn't work the bolt was too worn so i wanted to return the item. She then told me she wasn't taking that back because i didn't have the packaging to the product, even though I had the receipt with me. Then she tried to imply that it was missing a socket like i was trying to pull a fast one over a $24 socket set (while i had already spent in that week alone close to $600 in the store) although it wasn't missing. I can understand if that is the policy of Auto Zone, which i later found out when I actually returned it to another store, However the attitude that was given to me and the lack of explanation was unacceptable, ESPECIALLY since she was the person that sold it to me in the first place. Keep in mind this was all IN THE SAME DAY, so it wasn't like she forgot who i was. I told her I think I threw the packaging away, and she said "that isn't my concern if you don't have the package i am not taking that back". I ended up going to the O'Reillys across the street and they were super attentive and respectful. Recommended me buying a titanium drill bit and drilling the bolt out. Worked like a charm and got the new rotors on. I will NEVER be going to this Auto Zone again I will keep my business with a company that has respect to the people paying for their service.
