I traded my Chevy Trax for an Equinox, financed my Trax then leased my Equinox after trading. Then once my lease was almost up I turned it into finance. I WAS NOT INFORMED THEN IT WOULD OUT ME IN A NEGATIVE EQUITY AND NOW IM PAYING MORE THAN WHAT THE CAR IS ACTUALLY WORTH. 2. AFTER 2 years of driving the equinox, this is when the problems really start to happen, engine starts over heated because of low coolant and needed a throttle body service. Simple easy fix right, WRONG!!!!!! They gave me the car back said everything is good, I drive not even a mile and now my fuel tank was leaking. And after that I had to get the fire department to clear the area before I could get a tow truck to get my car. Fire Department comes and clears the area, tow truck comes and bring it back to the dealership (Side note: they couldn't even give me a loaner after their mechanics fuck up and I had to rent a car with my own money.) They fix it and tell me it's good and I leave. NEXT FUCKING DAY MY CAR IS OVERHEATING AGAIN AFTER THEY TOLD ME THEY TESTED IT AND IT WAS FIXED. I bring it back and now they give me a loaner car because they cant figure out the problem. Turns out to be a Crack in the engine block so they need to get me a new motor. A month goes by and now my car is ready and finally fixed, OR SO I THOUGHT!!!!! 1 WEEK LATER IM BACK AT THE FUCKING DEALERSHIP FOR MY ENGINE OVERHEATING. They gave me ANOTHER LOANER for a few days and then it's finally fixed, I get my car back and what happens 2 days later, MY FUCKING ENGINE IS OVERHEATING AGAIN!!!!! After the 5th time I call GM CUSTOMER SERVICE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS LEMON. I use to love Chevy and now I don't ever want to drive a chevy again

I was lucky, because I went to start my car and it flashed a low battery indicator, I tested it at auto zone and they made me aware that I needed a new alternator. I went to Firestone at 4:00 and I was out by 5:20. I researched this issue after the fact and I did need a new alternator, because my car was at 110,000 miles and an alternator usually lasts that long. The car did not break down on the highway and having a working vehicle is a small price to pay.
