I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

Had to pick out chunks of glass myself, even after asking him to vacuum again. Someone could have sat on it. Not safe to use at all. He also refused to clean the glass on the ground afterwards. I get it's technically the apartment building's responsibility, but it's sort irresponsible to just leave it sitting there. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Irving, TX 75060) charged me a total of $140.00 including taxes. $85.00 for the glass only, and the difference for labor and taxes. I can buy 3 USA made windshields at Diamond Auto Glass, for 1 Chinese made windshield at Safelite. I highly recommend this company which was bustling with business. I saw over 15 people and a Irving Police vehicle getting their windshields replaced.

When they removed my windshield, they noticed that another Safelite store which had previously replaced the windshield 100,000 miles previously, had done a poor job which caused rust to form on the frame around the windshield. Before I could say anything, Michael, the manager, told me immediately that they would take care of it at no cost to me and that they would put me in a rental car at no cost to me until the repairs were made by a body shop that they would tow the car to. Michael drove me to the Enterprise, I got my rental car, and a few days later, after the body repairs were made on the windshield frame, I picked up my car and everything was perfect. These days, such fantastic service is unheard of. But, apparently, great customer service is first and foremost at Safelite by and through its manager, Michael.
