Vacuumed up all the glass on that side and had it done within 30 minutes of starting. There's a few good places around so I opted to go to one while I waited. They installed the new windshield last Sunday because I am very busy during the week right now and I only had weekend days available to do anything like this. That was a big help to me. He was fast and efficient and it was obvious he was very experienced. Looks like a good installation. I don't see any visible problems or flaws. I was scammed and ignored. I normally don't take things to social media, but this experience with Fast Glass Windshield Auto and Replacement has left me no choice. The day before I flew out of the country, my car window was broken. I had it replaced by this company less than 24 hours before my flight to Scandinavia. Fast forward to when I returned home--first time driving my car, I immediately heard wind rushing through the window and water leaking whenever it rained. After inspecting it, I discovered the window was installed off-center and not calibrated correctly. I reached out to the company. They said they'd get back to me... but never did. I called and texted multiple times, and they completely ignored me. The only time I got a response was when I called from a different number they didn't have on file. They answered right away, but the second they heard my voice--they hung up. Let me be clear: * Poor workmanship is one thing. * But ghosting a customer, dodging responsibility, and hanging up on someone who paid you is next-level unprofessional. Had to book in advance and pay, which isn't preferred but since recommended by a source we trusted we proceeded. Will not call or text us back. Out over $100. I scheduled three separate appointments with this company for a windshield replacement, and every single one was cancelled -- without any notice or explanation. Each time I had to follow up myself to find out what happened. This wasted my time and disrupted my plans. I really wanted to give this company a good review. In fact, the owner was great before and after. Unfortunately, the tech's attitude caused this review. Tech called on his way, got started and finished within an hour. All good so far. Prior to the tech finishing, I sent him a text that my wife and I were on a call with my kid's school, but we could be out in 20-30 mins. I offered for him to leave the invoice if he needed to leave. Despite my text, he then harassed my 13yo and 10 yo kids, barking about that my kids need to get me and that he had to leave, etc. He totally freaked out both of my kids. Totally unacceptable behavior. He left. I called the owner and paid. But for this tech, the owner seems to have a good company. I called yesterday morning and though my call went to voicemail, during the call I got a text saying if I responded to the text inquiry with my automobile info and a pic of the windshield, they'd get back with me in 10 minutes. AND THEY DID! So refreshing to have a company that will do as promised. And the good just kept coming...I needed help with the insurance process as well and got clear instructions on how to take care of that. I was not happy with this install. The owner seemed pleasant enough and had the patience to do the job. His tech arrived with an attitude which was very evident. He had no patience to do the job. Was answering his phone throughout the whole job. I even heard him comment on the price quoted for the job. The tech made it very evident he did not want to be at this job and made us feel very uncomfortable. The back window was installed. Had to call another company to install the windshield. The guys at FastGlass really helped turn a frustrating day into a not so bad one. It's never a convenient time to have something fly off a truck and crack your windshield, but within 3 hours of the crack, I had a brand new windshield! Right when I called them they merged my insurance company into the call to initiate the claim, set a location for the repair (they came right to my parking garage), and gave me an ETA of 40 mins. They got right to work and were efficient and informative. By the time I ran some errands, they were finished.
