I initially went to a shop in Sonora and had an interaction I wasn't happy with. After asking around, this shop was recommended to me by multiple people. These folks were so nice!! I stopped by because my sunroof was leaking and the rain was about to begin. I had called around to other places to get an idea of what it might be, but they all basically told me it was hopeless (or incredibly expensive to fix). So I happened to be next door to this place and decided to see if they could look at the leak. They did and turns out it was just a small adjustment that took less then 5 minutes. I tried to pay them for their help, but they wouldn't accept. I will definitely be bringing any future repairs to them and would recommend anyone else do as well! read more

Autosmith delivers totally excellent workmanship and customer service. When I returned to get my 8-year old vehicle following its repair, it looked absolutely new. The repaired areas were undetectable and the paint match was flawless. But what went over the top was the detail work. Sure, it was washed and clean. But they also polished every exterior surface, got the haze off my headlights and they even cleaned and treated my leather seats. But there's more. These are seriously great people and talented auto body technicians. The level of craftsmanship, professionalism, integrity and personality this company shares with their customers is remarkable. I bashed in the front of my BMW SUV and they quickly had it perfectly repaired. And they fixed a couple minor things that had nothing to do with the crash at no extra cost. The body work and paint matching are perfect. The car looks and drives brand new. So their quality of craftsmanship can't be beat. But its their integrity, and excellent customer service, not to mention heart they show in dealing with their customers that impresses me most. They went out of their way helping me swap vehicles while the BMW was in for repair. And letting me leave the vehicle there an extra week because I was away on travel. They even insisted on giving me a ride to town, instead of me calling a cab. So thoughtful! And today I was there with a tiny issue about a rubber seal coming loose. They welcomed me like an old friend, and fixed it for free while I waited. Genuinely the nicest most welcoming folks you could meet. While traveling across the country, we blew an inside tire on our Ford F450 pickup truck. The damage to the body was substantial. We asked locals for body shop recommendations were told the staff at Autosmith were not just auto body repairmen, but artists. We found that to be true. The front desk woman and the owner of the shop were very helpful and recognized our need for fast repair since this was our only vehicle. They worked directly with our insurance company, ordered parts and got our truck in for repairs within a week. They were kind enough to ferry us back to the campground on drop-off, and picked us up when the repairs were complete. Not only was the repair job perfect, but they cleaned the truck inside and out and waxed it too. On top of it all, they tested our "check engine sensor" at no charge.
