I found out due to a police officer debating if she was pulling her gun on me because she thought the car was stolen. I've been fighting them to get the paperwork correct for 3 weeks now. I wasn't able to drive my illegal car so they so kindly gave me a rental "for free". They told me I needed to get insurance on it or if anything happened I'd be charged out of pocket. So I begrudgingly did and told them since I only had a rental because they messed up that I would be giving them that bill right back when we were done and they claimed I wouldn't be charged. Well they now taken over $600 out of my account for the insurance that was "my choice" and will not refund it. They also will not give me my original registration because its "inconvenient" for them to drive 20 mins down the road to get it and that I should just except the copy.
