I have been coming here for 8 years, and in the beginning the quality was decent (though still not perfect), but it has been getting worse and worse over time to the point that the last cleaning was just unacceptably gross. You judge for yourself... I paid $170 for a basic exterior wash, interior detail wipe, vacuum, and leather cleaning. For that $170 I was left with 2 bird poops still on the exterior, the lines that the windshield wiper leaves on the windshield still there, fingerprints and drip marks all over the car, coffee drip still on the front dash, sticky spots all over the leather where they sprayed it but didnt wipe, sunscreen still on the door pockets, entirely unvacuumed areas under the front seats, and worst of all, the cup holders were still sticky, if not MORE sticky from having sprayed it but not wiped it. I asked them to redo that last bit and they still couldn't clean it. It was only cleaned (the third request) when the manager was called over. I think the workers were going through the motion without actually thinking about cleaning the car... I could have done a better job! I hate not tipping people but I couldn't do it this time. The short and ugly: - They put a gash in my dashboard - They wasted my time, saying that they'd "research" a guy who could fix it - They never called me back after the 8 times I called them - They never took accountability - It's a mediocre wash job at a moderate price (not worth the value) - I left a frustrated customer, with less time on my hands, a gouge in my dashboard, and a spotty car wash job. NOT WORTH IT. The long and uglier: I came here on July 3 after a friend suggested the place. My Yelp friends were trying to warn me that this was not a place to go, but the friend was insistent that it was great value. Off the bat, I purchased a three-package car wash at $83.85. My car was washed and vacuumed, but when I got it back there was this weird white residue on my dashboard. I tried hand wiping in, and it felt very sticky and tacky. There was two gashes left in the dashboard plus a divet carved out of it. One of the cleaning guys tried to come over and resolve it, but the gash was clearly still there. I went to speak to the manager, Eric, and he punted me like a hot potato to Yoan, the regional manager. Still, he took down my name, phone number, and car make and model. I tried escalating by calling Yoan, and he asked me to come in on July 5 (on my vacation day). I arrived at the Dublin location, and he checked out my car. He couldn't fathom what could possibly make a scratch on that car. "This has never happened. We use the safest products." So, I hazard a guess. Maybe someone switched cleaning materials. Maybe someone dropped a cleaning cloth on the ground, picked up a pebble, and kept wiping. He said that they only use the softest microfiber towels and that anything I guessed could not be the case. He said Autopia has insurance for these kinds of things. He asked to first talk to his guy in Walnut Creek to see if this guy could repair it. "Call me back on Monday (July 8)." So I did. And left a voicemail. Then I called back again a week later. "My guy can't fix it, and he says it might be a defect with your car. I really don't see how we were the ones that put the gash in your car." I countered that I it wasn't my job to figure out what might have happened to my car. I told him that I took my car there, it got messed up in their care, and that they should fix it. "Well let me check out another guy." Four weeks, several unanswered calls later, and I'm here writing this Yelp review. Yoan clearly ghosted me faster than a Tinder profile. The bottom line is that they are careless with your car. If they mess it up, they will give you the run around, waste your time, and never take accountability. They will never reach back out to you. Even if they hadn't gouged my car, it's clear that the car wash is merely mediocre. I'm working with my credit card company to get the car washes refunded. Do NOT take your car here. They do NOT deserve your business. They are careless and only care about the money, not the value or service. read more

Disappointing. I paid for the monthly service which is good pricing; however, after the wash, you have to either return to have it washed again, clean the inside/outside glass to remove missed areas including the smudge they smear all over the inside of the windows, which becomes highly visible driving into direct sunlight, or wash the dirt off missed exterior areas of vehicle body. The armor-all they use to blacken tires and black molding appears to be watered down and or runny. After application, the next day, the dressing has ran off onto the body of my truck. It looks terrible. Have spoke to the supervisor and they say they aren't supposed to use towels inside that have been used outside, but you can watch multiple vehicles and see this occurring. Discussed my dissatisfaction with the office manager...person who is behind the desk inside on most days, and she simply didn't care about my feedback. She simply asked if I wanted to cancel, rather than trying to improve their service and use my feedback constructively to improve the quality of their work. Worst car wash in the area + shady employees. I usually go to Palace Shine but the line was around the corner so I ended up here as a last resort. I used to come here years ago, but had too many bad experiences. Come to find out they don't accept Apple Pay (I didn't bring a credit card and most places these days accept mobile payment). The charming lady at the register (sarcasm) told me to go to the ATM across the street at 7-Eleven. The problem is that the ATM requires a physical card so I was stuck. I went back and tried to explain to her and she assured me that the ATM does in fact work with mobile devices. So I go back across the street and the manager at 7-Eleven tells me I need a physical debit card (big surprise). Back to Autopia - since the lady at the register was not helping one bit, I went to the area where I checked the car in. I asked a young man by the name of ****** if there was another way that I could pay and he told me I could pay him through Zelle pay, and he would pay on my behalf. The thing is, he was apparently not expecting me to tell the lady at the register that I paid him and thought I would just drive off with my car as if I didn't pay (and he pockets the money), but I did tell her that I paid ****** and it turned into a big fiasco where a manager got involved. We got a pass for 3 car cleaning but apparently when we tried to get the third cleaning they mentioned we were maxed out, we were so surprised and asked them when was the card used they mentioned 31st December. It was literally like they had sprayed massage oil on every interior surface, including the pedals- my feet were slipping as I was driving. I've spent an hour wiping the oil off the dash, walls, pedals, every non porous surface. Not to mention, whatever the oil was, it smelled awful and overpowering. I was one of those that signed up for a monthly plan because everyone in our circle goes to Autopia and they appear busy every time you drive by Dublin Blvd. After a few months, I decided to cancel because the quality is extremely sub par. There's always something that they missed on my car after every car wash. I think the breaking point was when they called and said my car was ready and the two front windows were down. I asked one of the workers to wipe off the water residue when I rolled up my window, he was clearly annoyed as if it was my fault for rolling up the window. It's not just him. The guy that checks you in, the woman behind the booth collecting money, and 80% of the workers all have attitude. We deserve better. Paid $91 total for exterior wash inside "detail" vacuum clean weather tech mats . Tipped $13 in addition to the $91. I did not want the outside washed but I think you have to buy that in order to get the inside and then of course they sold me the most expensive package. Lol I was mainly concerned about getting the floor mats cleaned and I feel like they did a good job with that. I noticed the guy washing the car had my door closed and was on my side set leaning over the truck to get the front window and the roof. This was one of the worst car wash experiences I have ever had. There were multiple stains on the exterior of the car left. I asked the woman who was working on my car if she could clean those up and she wiped at it. As it started wiping off, her response to me was "Oh these are old and don't come off you'll have to do them yourself" and walked away from me without finishing before I had a chance to say anything else.
