The croissants are huge and fresh without the dry crumbly texture you get at most places. The food is made fresh, not microwaved, and the taste proves it. We also love their cold brew coffee and feel it is the best we have had as well. I have tried their hot coffee and for me it is a little more acidic than I like, but still good. Coffee is different for everyone, so I really wanted to rave about their food here. A great selection for all! I have not gone in, but the pics online show the ambiance is very nice. You should know that the drive-thru can be busy at times, and may seem a bit slow, but it is due to the hot food items being made to order. It is so worth the wait I promise! Didn't even show us where it was. The cart was hidden way back in the corner. Will not be returning as the service (or lack of) actually put me in a bad mood. Even though Tampa is home for me, I haven't really tried the coffee places. Buddy Brew kept coming up as one of the top places in Tampa to try, so I did give it a try. The coffee was amazing. First, I got a matcha pumpkin drink. The barista actually made the fresh matcha for me in front of me. She was also making a drip coffee that I was able to watch and have a conversation with her. I enjoyed the experience of having a conversation with the barista. It just made me feel very warm and welcome. The overall ambiance of Buddy Brew is very inviting and engaging. I love the warm colors that it had. The lighting. There is lots of seating there, and I did end up having a sandwich that was also very good. The wait staff was extremely friendly, and very welcoming to me as well. Overall, I had a 10 out of 10 experience, and I would return to Buddy Brew again.

The shop was packed with people working on their computers. It is very obvious this is a hot spot for remote workers. The down side to this was that I was able to walk right up to the counter and order drinks but struggled to find a place to sit. Everyone was seated working on computers but not actively eating or drinking. I ordered a refresher type drink. It was fruity and flavorful and just the drink to have on a hot day. My mom was with me and got a water. We snagged seats against the bar. We overlooked the workers whipping up some fancy coffee drinks.

I liked how they really played into the theme, adding whipped cream (they asked me first if I wanted it), colorful sprinkles, and even a lil paper bunny in my mug! Made me feel special. They fill the mug to the brim, so you're definitely not getting skimped on.
