I had a horrible experience at this dealership. I brought in my 2022 car to be assessed to sell it to the dealership. The used car manager took the vehicle for ~15 minute drive to evaluate the car. When he returned I got into the vehicle with alerts going off of flat tire. I checked the tire and it blasting air out. I went inside to ask him what happened during the test drive and if he had hit a pot hole or what. He accused me of bringing it in that condition and that my intent was to blame them on it. He also got escalated and tried kicking me out of the lot. (Keep in mind the tire was blasting air out. The air coming out was audible and we had waited over 30 mins at the dealer before he even went outside to look at it.) I had to call the police to file a report because they refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused my car while they drove it. They broke my rim and it's costing me a lot of money for just visiting this place. I would not recommend anyone doing business here.

UPDATE. The new manager is great. She actually took the time to call me and make things right.

Since my purchase, the vehicle has been out of my possession about half of the time I have owned it. It originally was in the shop for over two months to have a complete engine reseal because it was leaking from so many places it was best to remove the entire engine and reseal everything on it. This is something AutoNation should have found and then fixed before this truck was ever put on their lot to be sold. After this two-month ordeal where I was without a vehicle, I had contacted the dealer, AutoNation Honda 385 and was offered $200 of the $400 warranty deductible for the repairs, that was an insult to me considering AutoNation should have already had this repair work done before I purchased the vehicle. After this issue was "fixed" (surprise, its still leaking) I was able to drive the truck for almost a whole month before another issue reared its head, this time a transmission line failed causing my transmission to lose about 2-3 quarts of fluid. It was topped off by the service center AutoNation recommended to me and was called "fixed". I raised concerns for my transmission and was quicky dismissed. Now cut to April of this year, The truck's Torque convertor is failing suddenly (I wonder why) and there is also an AC leak, a Front pinon seal leak, Timing chain replacement, and my high-pressure fuel pump is leaking. The repair estimate from the GMC dealer who is approved to work on my vehicle is over 13K in repair fees. This is outrageous for a vehicle I have purchased less than a year from today and now I am on the hook for all the repairs because AutoNation can't take ownership of their negligence of this vehicle. There is no way it's possible this truck was inspected for issues prior to it being sold to me. The leaks originally found were so egregious and obviously the mechanics were blown away the dealer didn't already fix the issue. There have been no shows of good faith, no attempts to meet me in the middle, and no accountability taken from AutoNation for my suffering and financial strain because of this. Now I am left with a 13K repair bill on a vehicle worth 15K, I cannot trade it in, I cannot sell it (because who would buy it) and I cannot drive it. They have been attempting to find a "steal" for a trade in per the used car manager. The trade in value they are offering is 7K at the absolute highest with is another insult considering the reason why the truck has lost value is due to their negligence. Now I am stuck under a loan and a vehicle that I can't use but must pay a note on plus full coverage insurance. I am not made of money; this will bleed me dry because I'll still have to find alternate transportation as well as continue paying monthly expenses for this paperweight AutoNation sold me. Buyers beware of their used vehicles; they will try to take advantage of you wherever they can and then hang you out to dry when you are stuck on the side of the road because it broke down. I will be also contacting the BBB about this as I have said, AutoNation has made ZERO attempts to make this right for their customer. They only took my money and then cast me aside.

Completion of Repairs and Final Cost Discrepancy On…read moreThursday, May 22, I called Robert at 11:23 AM to inquire whether my vehicle was ready for pickup. He responded that the technician was about to test drive the vehicle and that I should expect a callback within 30 minutes. At 12:11 PM, I received the follow-up call, where Robert informed me that the car was being washed and prepped for release and would be ready within 10 minutes. Again, I asked that he email me the final cost and a detailed invoice. He acknowledged this request, but the call was unexpectedly disconnected before it was fulfilled. Lack of Clarity and Dispute Over Quoted Amount I was stunned and confused by this amount, especially since I had been told repeatedly that the total repair cost would be around $2,400, minus the one hour of labor, which should have brought the cost closer to $2,200. When I questioned this discrepancy, Robert explained that the $2,400 figure was only for the radiator repair, and not the total repair cost. At no point in any of our prior conversations was this distinction made clear. I expressed to him that this was highly misleading, and that had I known the actual total cost in advance, I may have made a different decision regarding how to proceed. Additionally, the lack of a formal, written estimate throughout the process is both unprofessional and unacceptabl A review of the communication process to determine why I was not properly informed of the full scope and cost of the repairs. Consideration of a partial reimbursement or adjustment, given that I was never provided with a clear, written estimate or approval request for the full cost before the work was completed. I believe this situation reflects a serious lapse in communication and customer service protocols. At a minimum, customers deserve to be fully informed before being held financially responsible for services rendered--particularly when the cost increases by over $1,100 from the most recent verbal estimate. Final Thoughts While I appreciate the staff's willingness to investigate and repair the issues with my vehicle, the lack of clarity and failure to honor prior estimates has left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. Transparent communication and timely documentation are standard expectations for any service department, and unfortunately, those expectations were not met in this instance. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly and professionally. I would appreciate a follow-up to discuss potential resolutions and to ensure that this experience helps improve service practices moving forward.
