I don't want to take up too much of your time or write an overly long review, but I really want to share my experience with AutoNation Ford Burleson in more detail. Before coming here, I visited several dealerships, but nowhere did I receive the level of attention and care that I found here. At most dealerships, employees fight for your attention only while you're walking through the door, but after that, the manager who greeted you usually does very little. At AutoNation Ford Burleson, however, I truly understood what customer service is supposed to look like. I was greeted very warmly and immediately introduced to the employee I had spoken with on the phone. Within five minutes, they handed me the keys to a car and simply said: "Where would you like to drive?" For me, that was a huge difference compared to other dealerships. I wanted a new car, but I wasn't completely sure what exactly I was looking for. When I visit a dealership, I want someone to help guide me toward vehicles that actually fit my needs and preferences. Instead, at other dealerships everything started with endless questions, entering information into computers, filling out forms and applications, but with almost no real effort to help me choose a vehicle. At AutoNation Ford Burleson, within just five minutes of arriving, I was already test-driving a car that didn't just meet my expectations -- it exceeded them in every way. I especially want to recognize the amazing work of Sunni. English is not my first language -- my native language is Russian -- and I fully understand that my English is far from perfect. But despite that, I felt completely comfortable. The entire dealership has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, almost like being part of one large and friendly family. I also spoke with the manager, and during my next visit I purchased the vehicle. But my experience with AutoNation Ford Burleson didn't end there. I purchased a used vehicle, and there were no visible issues at the dealership. However, after leaving, I discovered that the rearview mirror had been damaged. I contacted Sunni, and I was immediately told I could come in whenever it was convenient for me. That was another huge difference compared to other dealerships, which always try to force customers into very specific appointment times that I simply cannot guarantee because of my work schedule. When I arrived, it took less than five minutes for them to inspect my vehicle and order a replacement mirror. When I asked how much it would cost, they told me they would take care of everything at their own expense. For me, this was honestly shocking. In my home country, once you leave the dealership -- whether the car is new or used -- any problem you face afterward immediately becomes your responsibility. Now, after driving the car for two weeks, I'm still extremely happy with it and deeply grateful to this dealership for their honest and high-quality work, for the way they genuinely care about customers, show patience, respond to concerns, and don't immediately bury you in paperwork the moment you walk in. At the moment, I still have one additional issue involving a creaking sound when opening the trunk and the sunroof. I mentioned it while they were replacing the mirror, and once again they told me I could come in and they would take care of it. I want to sincerely thank the entire team for their work. Thanks to this dealership, I finally understood what truly great customer service looks like. This is absolutely the place I will return to when I decide to purchase my next vehicle, and it is definitely the place I will recommend to all my friends and family. read more

While enroute to another dealership to possibly sign for a vehicle, on a whim I called this dealership and was connected with our salesman Michael Barrow. Within minutes he identified the Expedition we were looking for (only stock photos online), he texted 15 photos, window sticker, warranty information, and emailed the CarFax. My husband and I prayed about needing a sign on whether the dealership we were about to sign with was the right one, but at the end of Michael's email signature was Jesus is Lord and God Bless. We set up an appointment the next day with him and ended up purchasing at Auto Nation Ford. Michael was patient, not pushy and super friendly. When it came to prefinancing, Preston did a great job to understand our financial picture and work within our means. All in all, we had a pretty seamless experience. I tend to leave good reviews when I can, only thing is that this time Ford AutoNation Dealership is getting it... If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This has officially become the worst dealership experience in all of Texas. The customer service is beyond terrible -- the employees clearly do not want to be there and make it very obvious that they could care less about helping customers. How does a dealership claim to be "booked for the next couple of weeks" when their own website shows open appointments the very next morning? That's not just unprofessional -- that's dishonest. My family has been loyal to this place, having purchased two vehicles here over the years -- and we're talking about senior citizens they're mistreating. absolutely horrible . what we thought was an amazing first time buying experience- quickly turned a nightmare . the process to buying the truck was great. was told everything was "topped off" and "looks amazing" or brand newly replaced . we've had this vehicle a MONTH and have already had to put 900$ into repairs . check engine lights turns on, problem comes up. we call our dealer person, only to NEVER get a call back. spent 375$ to replace every single spark plug, and when we saw the condition they were in, we were appalled . THEN truck starts leaking . had to replace a bunch of pipes . and to think we were done with problems .... I did buy a used vehicle and not a brand new. There's a lot of different circumstances in a new vehicle to use vehicle purchase. We haven't purchased a vehicle yet so I can't say anything about the actual buying process but the rest of our experience was unusually great! We worked with Jimmie M who was probably the nicest, easiest and least pushy car salesman I've ever met! We told him we were just there to test drive a couple cars so he looked them up on the computer, grabbed the keys and pulled them up to the door. He rode along in the back giving us directions for getting on the highway and then going down a bumpier back road so we could get a good feel for the cars! We had it towed back, returned again to us and they left bolts off from under our front end and the panel under the front fell off on us while we were out of town. Returned the car to fix again. Flash forward a year later my husband took our car in for a simple oil change and they returned the car and it was make a horrible noise under the front in. Do not go to AutoNation Burleson. They wouldn't let me buy a car without a protection plan, and then told me I could cancel it after I sign the papers. It took over a month to hear back from the finance person, just to continue to be ghosted. After contacting customer service, I finally got the cancellation paperwork as well as other needed information. I got confirmation that it was accepted and processed on 2/12/25 and that it would take 6-8 weeks. After trying to reach someone today 3/27/25 to check on the refund, one number (text) told me that it was processed as of 2/21 and that the refund would be sent to me. They also gave me a phone number, so I contacted that number at product cancellation. When I finally reached someone there, they told me it was just sent to processing today! This person told me that a Hunter Carey from AutoNation Burleson had just sent in the cancellation two days ago. The lady from this call could not tell me why I was given a 2/21 processed date, and then when I asked her clarify this difference in information told me the email and text I had must be wrong and then hung up on me. I'm beyond frustrated that AutoNation is dragging their feet on something I didn't even want to begin with. All I want is to have a date to expect my money back, especially since it's already been 6 weeks! read more

Bought my truck in 2023 and was pleased with this dealer, since my husband purchased a truck from them previously. For the last two years, we have done the normal maintenance and oil changes and the service was fine. Unfortunately this time, we had rodent issues. We understood the rodent issue and that was not the problem. The problem began with the fact that we asked them to check for any rodent issues, like we do every time we get the truck serviced. We just wanted to get ahead of any major issues, before they became "major." We also asked them to check the windshield wipers fluid, because it seemed to be empty. We were told it would be checked. My husband spoke with two different people about it. The truck was returned to us, and a few days later, we tried to use the wipers, but the fluid wasn't working. We called the service advisor, Alonzo Fuller, and he said he had not been told to check this, but he would take care of it and personally overseer this. A day later, my truck started saying it was overheating, when it really wasn't. My husband called Alonzo again, and was told to bring the truck in. We asked if there was a loaner, because my husband's Ford was getting worked on at a diesel garage. They said, no, so my husband said it would be a day or so, until our other truck was finished. Alonzo said not to drive it too much, and just bring it in when we could. My husband made an appointment for the truck to be picked up. It went in on the 10th of February, and a day later, when my husband asked what they thought the problem was, we were told it looked like rodent damage. They would not know for sure until they took it apart. On the 24th of February, I asked my husband what was going on with the truck, and he said he wasn't sure. We reached out to Alonzo and he told us he thought it was rodent damage. I said that was what he told us two weeks earlier. He said the technician was requesting more time. I told him we needed to know what exactly was wrong with the truck and an approximate amount needed for the repair and how much longer it would take them to complete it, since it had already been two weeks and nothing was done. Okay, so in order to shorten this up...they took a few days short of a month to repair it. They told us the problem was that a technician had an emergency appendectomy and there was no one to work on the truck. Mind you, they only told us that after I lost my temper and started backing them into a corner. They refuse to let you speak with the people in charge and push you around themselves, in order to avoid your complaint moving up. The representative from Auto Nation Ford in Florida, where the corporate office is located, told them to communicate with us, which they didn't do until I advised her that I was going to start calling everyone in charge of Auto Nation. We went to the dealership and asked to speak to the director of services, Chance Peterson, and they sent another manager and the girl who provides loaners to placate us. He never came out to speak with us. When we filed the repair under our insurance provider, Alonzo would not provide the pictures of the inside of the truck, because 3 weeks later, they still hadn't taken the truck apart, so they had no pictures to send. Finally, my truck is fixed and then we get it back to find out there are several paint scrapes and spots of missing paint along the driver's side, all the way up and down the driver's side. We had to take it back and have them fix it. This truck is paid and we are in the market for a new one for my husband. I am not top sure that Ford is going to be his choice, but I can definitely say, it will not be Burleson Ford! Their lack of communication was a definite problem and their lack of customer service was unbelievable. They did provide us a loaner for half a day, while they fixed the paint issue, but it was a little to late for us. I have waited a few weeks to cool off and try to not be emotional in my review. I can honestly say with a calm mind that their service and communication skills are in definite need of drastic improvement. The irony is that we live a block from another Auto Nation Dealer that just didn't have my truck when I bought it, so we went back to Burleson. Now, I have to find another Ford dealer that will honor my purchased warranties and services, so I never have to go back to that dealership. I wish it were different, but it is what it is. We purchased a 2021 Ford Escape with my daughter from AutoNation Burleson in October 2021. The sales process was easy. However, once we made the purchase, the "service" was, and is, almost non-existent. Trying to get a hold of a live person on the phone is almost impossible. We attempted to call 10 times yesterday (December 16,2022) with no luck until call #11. My daughter initially had an issue with the radio console and backup camera immediately after purchase. We brought it to be fixed, but they could not fix it. They told us they would have to replace the unit, but the part was back-ordered. We are reasonable people, so we understood. My daughter left for college, so I called AutoNation Ford Service a month in advance to have the part ready to install for my daughter's return for Christmas break. The advisor I spoke with in November 2022 told me the part would be available within three days of our phone call. He was going to contact the installer and have it ready for installation on December 19, 2022, for our 7:30 am appointment. When I called to confirm three days before the appointment, the adviser said they had to call the installer to see if he had the part. It's apparent the advisor did not call in advance because the part was back-ordered until December 23rd, and he didn't already know that when I called. (I don't believe that based on their track record.) As a result, they told me not to bring in the car because of the holidays, so it still will not be fixed. My daughter cannot take the car to be fixed at college (18 hours away from us) because she works and has no downtime with her course load as a graduating senior. REGARDLESS OF THEIR REASONING, AUTONATION FORD WAS AWARE OF THIS RECALL AND DID NOT INFORM US ABOUT THE POTENTIAL PROBLEM BEFORE WE PURCHASED IT. Had they done so, there is NO WAY we would have purchased the vehicle! We traded in a 2019 Ford Mustang for a supposedly "safer" car for our daughter, but this vehicle is not, and it does not have the features we paid for. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND AUTONATION FORD TO ANYONE!!! We paid for a car with features it has not had for over a year. They list one price on Autotrader and then when you try to purchase the vehicle they let You know that the total price includes 4 additional items...specifically Door - Paint Protection + $299.00 Lumar Window Tint + $399.00 Appearance Protection - 3 Yr ** + $749.00 Windshield Protection - 3 Yr ** + $699.00 An additional $2146!!...no where in the ad where these listed. I agreed to accept the window tint and door protection but not the warranties but they said No, the warranties were applied to the vehicle in the form of a coating applied to the window and vehicle. I elevated all the way to the General manager with no resolution. I even said they should just list those on the price they are advertising on Autotrader...to which they said they don't have control over that...because AT is a 3rd party...even though they write and place the ads and none of their ads list those items...Come On Man. Know who you are dealing with and don't believe what they advertise as they obviously don't take responsibility and deflect. I understand how people want to give 0 stars. The service department is non existent. I wanted my spark plugs changed and something else done. The spark plug replacement was quoted between 6-800. I was told maybe 2 days or end of next day. However, I decided when I got home to not do the spark plugs, it was just too expensive. So I called here to get in touch with someone and just cancel the spark plugs. I call and call and no one answers, probably upward to 10 times, straight to voicemail. I call the front office with customer service and explain my situation, she just transfers me after I tell them about not getting through. I call back and explain, hence why I'm calling you to help. She transfers me again to the service dept, I'm not joking. Then I call back and she doesn't answer at all (seriously). I call back a few times, no answer, and then she answers frustrated and tells me she dropped a note. Man, I just drive up there to make sure it is handled because I don't trust anyone. I see someone and tell them to just do the latch only (not the spark plugs). He tells me, good to go. I get a call the next morning saying they won't do the spark plugs as asked. Then all day passes and no call for my truck to be picked up. I call, and they say it might be the next day for 1 job. How can it be a 2 day job now, I asked, to his response, I told you possibly the next business day morning, to which I said, I cancelled one job the day before and he gave me the lie of well, they rolled in the vehicle for spark plug change prior to me calling you. Seriously??? The government runs better than this place. They did do an excellent job of not getting me to purchase my next vehicle here. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever seen. Horrible! 29 days to get warranty work completed. after mathew our service advisor seemed to only care about arguing with us thru text messages. We called several times and left voicemails only to find out later that Mathew said he doesn't check "all" his voicemails. Service manager let us know they finished the work and our truck was ready. We drove it home and parked it in our driveway. Went out an hour later and saw a puddle of engine coolant under the motor on the driveway. The worst Ford service department in DFW!! The dealership gets props for offering a rare vehicle that all other dealerships are marking up thousand at msrp. Also not forcing a bunch of add one onto the vehicle. That is the way it should be, but the 5 stars comes from our sales rep Greg Gaskin, he completely made us feel great about our purchase. It was a late transaction, so he stayed there showing all the features well after the place was closed. But as soon as Michael Barrow found out my Mexican husband was the one buying it they called him a liability and told him they work with specific banks for Mexicans who don't have drivers licenses. He then instead of continuing with us brought over a money guy named Eric who refused to listen to us and what we wanted he was being a douche about how we didn't want everything they added on to the car like the lo jack ect they then let us sit for over 30 minutes. Michael then comes over and tells us to go to another guy so we ended up leaving it was very uncomfortable. After making a reservation in advance to test drive a car today that I was told three times was available and then traveling over an hour/60 miles to see that car, I arrived at the dealership (after waiting for an additional 30 minutes for my sales person to appear -- despite my appointment time) to be told by my sales person that another sales person at the dealership, upon learning of my appointment to test drive the vehicle, had called one of his potential customers who had been on the fence about buying the vehicle, told him that I was a serious customer on the way to take the vehicle for a test drive, and told him to get to the dealership before my test drive occurred to purchase the vehicle if he was still interested. While I understand most dealerships are "first come, first served" nowadays, my primary objection here is that my appointment to test drive the car was used as leverage to close the sale to another customer -- that IS NOT "first come, first served" -- it is putting your finger on the scale to steal a sale from another sales person, and to show complete disregard and disrespect for the dealership's other potential customers. No one called me to let me know the car had been (or was in the process of being) sold. If they had given me this courtesy, I could have avoided making a 3 hour round trip that was a complete waste of time for my wife and me. If for whatever reason you are interested in a particular vehicle at this dealership, I would strongly encourage you not to call them in advance to make an appointment. bought a used 2021 Ford Explorer with 28000 miles about 4 months ago. My a/c heater does not work correctly. I can set the temp up to 80 and it will still blow cold air (this is after vehicle is plenty warmed up). If I power the a/c heater system off and back on it will work right. This happens about 50% of the time. I was near the dealership and just wanted someone to acknowledge what it was doing. There were no other customers there. I want asking them to fix it right then. Just wanted them to see what was happening while it was happening. This company treated me like I was crazy for asking someone to step 6 feet from their desk to feel the cold air.
