These guys are not just good mechanics, but really good human beings, too! Back story: I had my…read more2013 Prius V all checked out and fluids topped off before I started a trip Los Angeles to Paso Robles on a day in the low 90's. On the way up, all of a sudden I noticed a check engine light. I'd never seen a check engine light before, so I didn't think much of it, and exited at the next stop in Arvin. Turns out, my engine coolant was leaking profusely, and by the time I got to Arvin, there was actually only a thin strip of coolant left to keep me from blowing my engine. There wasn't a mechanic for miles. Long story short, I bought some coolant, and my friend googled Sam Moore's. Even though it was about 3:30PM by the time I got there, the woman at the front desk (was her name Liz?) was so sweet! She made time to run a diagnostic when I got there to find out how the fluid was leaking. They were busy and had other customers ahead of me, but they knew I was miles from my destination and they were able to get my car road worthy in time for me to reach my destination before dark. Bless you guys, and thank you!

After asking a few people for recommendations, I decided on Sam Moore's. A few days after I dropped the car off, I was called with a diagnosis and a quote. It's very refreshing to find an honest, experienced mechanic and I'll be sure to recommend Sam Moore to anybody looking for a mechanic.
