I expected the dealership to respect my appointment time and provide reasonable service. After waiting 8 HOURS, I went back to pick up my car, only to be told that it still wasn't ready. They then told me I would have to wait an additional hour to an hour and a half! This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for customers' time. I made an appointment in advance and rearranged my work schedule for this. If the dealership knew there would be such a long delay, they should have communicated that to me instead of leaving me waiting all day without a clear update. An appointment should mean something. Customers have jobs, responsibilities, and other commitments. I expected much better service and communication from a Toyota dealership. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their time. This experience was extremely disappointing, and Bristol Toyota needs to do a much better job managing appointments and respecting its customers.

As soon as I met Harry at the Swansea Auto Gals I knew this was different. Harry was very pleasant and up front about all of the pros and cons of the vehicle I was looking at. He immediately handed me the keys and said to take it for a test drive as long as i needed and put a dealer plate on it for me. After I decided to make the purchase he was very fair with the negotiation and we came to an agreement. The title was at the other location but he had an employee immediately drive it up to us. I told him I was going to get it registered and come back in the afternoon. He then called me and hour later and said while he was putting fuel in the car he noticed an issue that was not seen before. He brought it right to his mechanic and fixed the issue at no cost that same day. I was able to come get the vehicle the next day and everything was seamless. I will be referring anyone that I know to shop at Auto Gals if they are looking for a car in the future. By far my best used car deal experience!

I typically do not buy from dealers but again, they happened to have exactly what i wanted and due to the turbo and awd i wanted to be sure i had at least a small warranty window. I ended up buying a 7 year old 96k AWD Volvo. For the age and mileage the car was very clean, 1 owner. i could tell it was hand picked with care. The sales lady was very nice and pleasant, her name eludes me. I was able to call them ahead of time and get in their late afternoon and get out the same day with my car ready to go. A+ there! Title on spot, no BS. The only issue i had, was about 3 months after i purchased the car (when i finally got it on a lift) i realized that there was NO Driveshaft!! Yes seriously it just didnt have one, hence making it only FWD. Since i was out of the warranty time frame, Brads was still kind enough to get me a shaft. I did have to pay to have it put in myself, but legally i think they could have told me to pound tar. So it was nice they helped at all. Other than regular maintenance, in the 20,000+ miles i have driven it i only upgraded to Factory Volvo BBS wheels and I had to do a front strut assembly. Car has been great to me! When I returned, jet lagged, a month later and freaked out over every little noise that the car made after having to sit for 30 days without being driven, Mark was as calm and patient as a good father would've been when I called him, sometimes twice a day. and drove the car out to ask "are you sure??" Every little noise turned out to be nothing, just as he promised, and in a couple days the car was purring like a kitten. What I appreciated the most about Mark was his sensitivity, not only to the urgency of my problem, but to my state of mind and my nerves. In all the years that I have known him, he has never once made me feel like an idiot for asking even the silliest of questions. He really understands and cares about people. Called to set up an appointment for the following Monday, during this call I confirmed the price of $36420. I received 4 follow up calls over the weekend about my appointment, which I confirmed and again asked if the price was still $36420, again confirmed by the person on the phone. I drove over 2 hours to look at the truck, took it for a test drive even though the salesperson said there was another salesperson working a deal on it, but I was told not to worry about that as the salesperson we were working with was more senior and he would get us in the truck. We started to work numbers, and the salesperson came back and I saw he listed the price at $39420 and gave us a payment based on that number. $3000 over the listed price on two websites, when I informed the salesperson he said, oh maybe a presidents day sales number. He went back to the sales manager and came back with a different payment, but said the price was $39420 because when they put a car price online, they assume all buyers will put $3000 down. I said it doesn't say that under the price, and he stated I had to look at the disclosures to see that. I mentioned it didn't say it on the other site, and this was deceptive behavior and they should honor the price we were quoted over the phone and online. they said no and we left. As we left, I stopped at the sales managers desk and stated that what they were doing was unfair and deceptive behavior as well as very misleading to consumers. The sales managers said that I should read the disclosures before calling.

For a vehicle with 125K miles, I'm very impressed. Do I have expectation that the battery or struts might need replacing in the next year or two? Probably but I will probably have these folks do the work. Overall a great deal and would recommend.
