I brought my car here for tires and brakes and they did a great job I had a second service for a another issue Sam the mechanic was honest and very fair with the price They had a loner car I could use during the time my car was being serviced I would recommend and will return if I need service again read more

Sadly this company was recommended by the Orland Park Police Department to assist my daughter at night time and needed a battery jump. The unprofessional lady whom answered had the audacity to laugh at her & then say you should call a friend. Then stated that if she wants them to come out it would be $150 whether it starts or not. I'm sure if you read this and have a family member in need you should definitely NOT rely on this company. read more

Please do not use this towing service. My car was involved in a 7 car accident and this towing service was called to tow all cars to their location in Orland. Three days later when I went to retrieve my vehicle using an independent towing company, they wouldn't release my car unless the independent towing company I used show workmen's comp insurance. If they didn't have this insurance I was charge an extra $150. My friend knew that wasn't in alignment with their rates and I was being upcharged. I had to pay close to $1000 for three days of storage, tow, cleanup fee, and workman comp. I reported this company to the illinois General Attorneys office and I'm hoping eventually they are penalized or something worse for not following their policy. This company is bad news and they take full advantage of people! I also noticed they have bad reviews that entail rudeness in communication, racism remarks, and creating false charges. This company abuses their power and citizens are being greatly taken advantage of. If you do deal with them, and you have a unfair situation, contact the Illinois General Attorneys and file a complaint. The more we see something and say something we can change these type of businesses from taking advantage of people! read more

No quality, and certainly no service to speak of. Overpriced on everything. He tells you one thing and does another

9 miles was to far to go for a tow. i guess you need to break down in their parking lot.

Auto Medics Tow Truck harasses Residential Area by honking loud truck horn at 11pm -wakes up babies! Their driver comes through this residential area and honks repeatedly for fun because I left a bad review on their facebook page after the guy blasted his horn aggressively once before in this Residential Area. Now he does it on purpose because he is an idiot who thinks its funny to harrass disabled Vets. No respect or common decency w this business. I don't typically utilize time to write reviews, however, if I could rate this 0/5, I would. Beware of 'Jeff' at the Southwest Hwy location, as he found humor in my brothers ASD related issues. Called for a check-up on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata, received a (rather shockingly) hostile attitude. Not sure how they think the business will survive with that behavior, but mainly- was quoted $1500 for a job that was quoted at $320 everywhere else... (Dellwood Tire, Motors and More, Walmart repair) I highly recommend a more reputable location. read more

This place is so sad I moved in my apartment a week ago I'm 6mo high risk pregnancy the tow truck came and I told them I just moved in no one cared wouldn't even tell me where the location was located no card nothing he made me figuer it all out on my own instead of providing me with information on how to get my car and where it would be I have no sort of transportation now I have to walk 1.4miles to get my car because I have no way to get there I would of paid it on the spot but that was not a option just sad day today People have no heart through this hard time read more

My car was in a fender bender with dents in multiple places along the passenger side. Automedics repaired and restored my car to it's like new appearance and was reasonably priced. Great work and I highly recommend this business. read more

Oh boys where to start with this story? They have a hot headed manic there named Conner, when I told them I couldn't afford a service. He decided to yell at me and tell me I was to cheap and it's pathetic I can't afford to fix my car. So to say the least their customer service is horrible. There are so many other mechanics that will treat you better. DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Also growing up with mechanics I can tell you they over price more then most. I also caught them up in two lies. Oh the joy the last few months of fighting with them has been. The owner told me his mechanic should have never suggested to fix my car I should have just junked it. So the employees are not on the same page as the owner it's great ....... Also the front desk lady does have a horrible attitude as said by the other reviewers. I didn't see kids running around but two big dogs going nuts in the front office. read more

The shop is good for oil changes basic tune-ups and exhaust systems and maybe brakes. Took my car in for a engine light spent almost $1,000 got it back ran like crap had to take it to GM. What a joke!!! Do not let anyone in this shop tear into your motor!!! I called them to complain and the owner said well why don't you bring it back in and we'll see what we can find... probably a couple hundred more dollars out of my pocket, F, this place!!! read more

My car was towed here after an accident, I had to sign a release for my insurance company to move my car to the agree upon repair facility. The customer service I experienced in just trying to get my car released and the personal property out of my car was pathetic, surly and just plain rude. With the lousy treatment I received I would never consider using this company for anything of my own volition. read more

Worst towing company ever, SCAMMERS!!! Towed my truck and damaged the bumper. The tow truck driver knew he damaged my truck and he even admitted it!!! He called the owner to which he came by and said to myself that it's either his way or no way. Either he takes it and paints it or for me to "F--- OFF" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE WITH CUSTOMERS! Also, I had to call the police to make a report so this will go towards the insurance. I offered to pay the bill and he said cash only. I didn't have any other form of payment other than my card, and if I don't pay cash he would take my truck with him. THEY SCAM and don't give you any other options other than their own. DO NOT USE, they are a small company (not even a company - just 2-3 personal tow trucks) and the owner himself does the work. read more

The worst customer service, they damaged my car and threatened me when I asked about it and told me to get the f*** off the property.

Thank you Auto Medics for quickly coming to the rescue to jumpstart my car. They were extremely pleasant and prompt I am forever thankful for coming across them. Will definitely use in the future and tell my friends & family how great they were! read more

My boyfriend got into a car accident and his car was taken here. We went to get personal belongings that he needs out of his car and the lady at the desk is super rude! His name was on the paper from the police report but just because his dad wasnt there he couldnt get his belongings because they dont have the same last name? The way she speaks to people is discusting! Now who knows when hell be able to get his stuff let alone his car! read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this shop! I've been coming here for over a year and I would consider Jeff sam and the ladies up front family I highly recommend coming here if you want a honest and great mechanic. I've had my fair share of con artists in this line of work but I'm happy to say I've finally found my mechanic. Sams awesome that's who always takes care of my vehicle ask for him! read more

I am NEVER using them AGAIN!!! First they didn't call me to approve the price (which was 300 more than quoted) Second they were apparently inconvenienced by my call to check on it. Third, the mechanic, Jeff called me to ask if there were any tricks how to START my car!!!!! And FINALLY, when I asked to talk to the owner about the way the mechanic talked to me, she was shockingly rude!!! Unbelievable how bad the service was. read more

I was involved in an accident in Orland Park where there was massive damage to the front of my car. When the accident happened, it was awesome because there happened to be a tow truck at the intersection. I agreed with him to have the car towed to the location of a garage I use. After I was gone, I got a frantic call from him saying that Auto Medics had swooped in and towed the vehicle. I was extremely frustrated, knowing that here came exorbitant towing and storage fees, but I had not accounted for everything. Since it was a company vehicle, it was on the company insurance and I had no control beside the initial report. I called to get my personal property (clothes, iPad, papers, etc.) out before it was towed wherever the company insurance decided. The woman I spoke with informed me that I would not be getting anything back until it was paid for. Needless to say, that boiled my blood! I went and looked up Illinois law which states that personal property can not be held by a towing company if a vehicle is involved in an accident and covered by insurance (it was covered by a commercial full-coverage policy). I called back and informed them, and I was told..."I don't care what the law is, this is company policy." WHAAAT?!! Then she hung up on me. For those who care, here is a link to the law so at least you know your rights, even if they don't matter to this company:-/ http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/fulltext.asp?DocName=062500050K4-203 *Check paragraphs 4 & 5 in section 11. read more

Very rude lady who I spoke to on the phone. I was charged storage fee which was supposed to be waived if vehicle is picked up under 24 hours. I have receipt with printed time and woman was ignorant and unprofessional and charged the fee anyway. Looking at their reviews I am surprised they are still in business. Stay clear of this piece of crap business!!! No stars deserved at all!!! read more

I brought my car in for a repair, told Ted i would not be contacting our insurance company and he gave me a great price, took my car in for repair a week later. Did an awesome job and without me asking also repaired a few rock dings. Thank you. Everyone i dealt with was very cordial. Will not hesitate to return. Tom and Sharon Pollard read more

Just got off the phone with one of their employees that ended with him calling me F*** face, the previous phone calls involved being threatened to hold my vehicle, and a rude receptionist who lied about when they were going to work on my vehicle. 4 hours they had me waiting for them to "look" at my tire, despite saying it would just take an hour, and refused to give me an update every time I called until I called back frustrated. Judging by the other reviews here, nothing but scammers... avoid! read more

Auto Medics in Orland Park has been my preferred service shop for the past five years. I have two SUVs - a 2015 Honda CRV and a 2007 Toyota RAV4 - and, aside from some routine oil changes, one insurance claim auto accident (body work) and one water pump failure while out of state, they have performed all required work on both cars as well as work on the 2003 Buick Rainier I owned prior to the CRV. These folks are a mechanical auto service shop - so, if you're looking for good conversation, a plush waiting room and state of the art offices, they aren't for you. But, they know cars. I have personally found the customer service to be very good. I've borrowed loaner cars, which they only charge you for ($50 a day) if you decide not to have the quoted service work done at their shop. A great service that very few auto service companies offer today. In 2016, I had a water pump go out 7 hours from their shop - I called them and asked what a reasonable repair cost was and they quoted (over the phone without seeing the car) within $50 of the final charge that the local service shop ended up doing the work for. It was comforting to know that in an unknown situation like that (out of town) that I had a ball-park price to make sure I wasn't getting hosed for an urgent need by an unknown repair shop. In 2012, I used a nationally known oil change shop and they failed to tighten the oil filter on the RAV4. The oil drained out and the engine experienced significant damage. Auto Medics went to bat with the insurance provider (ours and the oil change shop) to fully document the incident. The insurance providers worked out the details. Auto Medics repaired the RAV4 in the process and I'm still driving it today with no follow-up issues from the engine rebuild they handled. A lot of reviews on the office and it's employees - but, what really matters is the work and the mechanics at Auto Medics do great work. Personally, I hope you all keep staying away so that I can keep enjoying the work they do without having to compete with new customers. read more

Horrible customer service!! When we first went in the lady at front desk named Lynn totally ignored us, she was too busy playing a game on her phone, and yes I could see her screen so I knew she was playing a game. Had to wait till she was done. Took my truck there and spent over $1200 and thought it was all fixed. Had two different issues with truck that they half fixed. All was great at first then I went back the next day because my ac wasn't working right and I had spent almost $700 to have them fix it. Mechanic Connor told me (very rudely)it wasn't anything they did and to make the fan work was going to cost me more $$. Even though the fan worked just fine before they replaced compressor. He Didn't even want to look at it. He actually told us that he didn't do anything wrong and we must have broken it after we picked it up. Another mechanic came over and was nice but overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would recommend you find a different facility to work on your car. They don't stand behind there work at all!!! read more

What a terrible business! Once they arrived to tow my car, one of the guys told me it was going to be one price, but as soon as they loaded it on the truck, they said it was going to be 65$ more! I was furious and tried to have them explain to me why the price increased, but the man was very disrespectful and had no professionalism at all. I would not recommend this place at all! All they care about is money. One of the worst experiences I have had! If I could, I would rate a 0. read more

My young niece was cut-off this morning, and hit her brakes. Her car spun on the fresh snow and slid off the road. The county police showed up and called to have the car towed by Auto Medics. The distance from the spin out spot to Auto Medics was less than 3 miles. When my sister called to find out about the price, they quoted $240.00!!! I went with her to pick it up, and only then did they say cash only! Not even a debit card was acceptable. When I told the women the debit card would have the money in their account before we left their property, she still insisted. Why not tell your customers your terms when you speak to them? The women behind the counter was rude and not the least bit concerned. The only thing she stated was, "police tows are state mandated at $240,00". read more

Perfect service! Very professional and everyone is very nice. Great work, my car looks like it did the day I bought it!

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I AM POSTING a REVIEW! They took it out which tells you a lot about the business! I originally wrote one a few years ago and another on 12/11! I went there a few years ago. If I could give it zero starts, I would. They took over a month to finish my car and I discovered that this place had put me in harm's danger. They used TWIST TIES (I have pics) to "secure" important parts. They said they used newer parts, but I learned they used old parts (FYI: one of them, transmission, I had to replace again in 7/10-so much for quality work). I do not trust this place. If you want others experience, then please refer to other the other reviewers for additional detailed information. I am clearly not alone; these people gave them 1 star too! If I could give them no stars, then I opt for ZERO. They were also very rude and lacked professional customer service skills. Want to avoid ubiquitous headaches? Go elsewhere. Never been back. read more

This place is very cut throat to just get your money. Rude lady in front and seems like no one there wants to help you. Can't understand how they have survived fir so long. read more

My fault in that I went there because place was close. Should have read the reviews on Yelp first!!! Service matched the sign on their building, which has a letter that has fallen off. What is odd about this place is how unfriendly people are. Heard the secretary twice yell at customers on the phone while I was in the waiting room. A bit of a drive but go to Kallemeyn Auto Center in Palos Heights. If you don't want to go that far, TRS which is next to Auto Medics provides better service, but Kallemeyn Auto Center is still my top choice. read more

I have brought in several family cars over the years. I also have recommended auto medics to several people. They always been honest and professional , the quotes were always right on and at times the final price was cheaper than the estimate. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, not to mention the horrible customer service you receive entering the doors of this place or on the phone.
