Incredibly disappointed with this dealership, they rushed us threw the financing part and rushed us into signing everything. Made it out that we were going to get a certain amount for our trade in and then literally gave us 2000 less but disguised it on how they put it on the paper. On top of the 2000 less they more than tripled the car price on the lot. When i contacted the dealership about the trade in issue the manager did not even have the decency to call me in person. Chris is a horrible finance person we have nearly perfect credit scores and he only got us a percentage that is double what we have been pre approved for from local credit unions. I would never go back to this dealership and would never recommended it to any of my friends or family. read more

Overall an excellent used car buying experience. Four stars, because you had to use their financing, seems like a corporate strategy and no true reflection on Framingham branch. I definitely reccomend Manny Soto he is a low to moderate pressure salesman. He was polite, courteous , showed me the cars I wanted to see and drive, did not try to steer me into ones that did not meet my criteria. I dealt with Mike Joseph , aka Batman, at the Framingham store. When I first went to Automax I went to check out various SUVs since I did not know exactly what I was looking for. Mike was very accommodating in showing me different cars. I let him know that I was far from making a decision and over the next month he called me a few times to touch base - nothing too pushy. Once I got things narrowed down and shopped around to understand the value of my trade in and comparable cars to what they had available I went back. Knowing how much I wanted to pay and how much to anticipate for trade-in made the whole process pretty straight forward. As far as negotiations, of course they are looking to make money and me as the buyer am looking to spend the least - normal stuff for buying a used car even if you buy from a private party. Once I got the car there were a few things that needed to be fixed. It took a little time, but Mike honored all of his commitments to me and was always pleasant to deal with. I also had to deal with Dan Wright the manager and reasonable and accommodating as well Bottom line - Prepare yourself ahead of time and stick to your guns - that goes for any car dealership! Like others here, Automax gave me the godawful used car sales treatment you see in all the sitcoms and movies. I sell stuff myself. Although I am not a long-time professional sales person, I treat all my customers with dignity and respect and as the intelligent people that they are. This works for me. Automax assumes the buyer has the IQ of a rutabaga and makes every attempt to sell you things you do not need to inflate their take on the deal. Extended warranty? Puhleeze, No! Finance? No! And you don't get to see the actual bottom line until they trot out a contract after someone types it out on a typewriter. Not sure about the typewriter, but the whole process took so long it made my brain hurt. And yes, the bottom line is suddenly way higher than the sticker price. I came close to walking out in mid-discussion, but foolishly gave a cash deposit. The next day, I recovered by cancelling the deal when the salesman called and told me that the car would not be ready because "they were putting new tires on the car" for me. Huh? Why new tires? What kind of new tires? Recaps, perhaps? The sales mgr called to ask what he could do to make the deal happen. I told him I had no confidence in Automax. I told him I had nothing against the salesman, who was simply doing the job as he had been trained to do. After repeated promises ("The check is in the mail", "A runner will bring the check to my house." "The sales mgr himself will deliver the check") and numerous excuses ("The owner is not available to sign the check", with a photo of the unsigned check emailed to me.), a check dated 5/13 arrived today, 5/25, nearly 3 weeks after I killed the deal. Automax was a good time. My salesman was John LaBruzzo and I was the first person he sold a car to. He wasn't pushy and couldn't have been a nicer guy. I mean I walked in with a handle bar mustache and he was so polite that he didn't bring it up once. Sale was real smooth I knew what I wanted walking in and he was willing to work with me. Even after we had signed papers John was still willing to work with us. He left us an Armorall car care kit in the car when we picked it up and helped us with car mats and an owners manual a few days later even after the manager said we couldn't get them. John is a real great genuine guy and it was a pleasure working with him. read more

I visited AutoMax based on a couple cars within their inventory found on-line. At first the help was straight forward. When interested in a vehicle they stated there is no wiggle room. The price of the vehicle was still below the average I've found and the car was in good shape so I decided to pursue. The problems arose when I arrived to pay for and pick up the car. When told it would be a simple process and paying an extra $622 for registration/title/license plate processing fee's, I sat in their office for over 3 hours. I was dropped off at the dealership without another car and no way to pick up the vehicle later in the day. They knew I was aggravated and missing out on work hours, nothing was offered or considered at all. They had multiple sales reps try to come entertain me and talk to me which was more annoying. After 3+ hours the sales rep showed up said the car was ready, but it had practically an empty tank of gas. He went to "fill it up" but showed up 10 minutes later with maybe a quarter tank of gas. The processing of the paper work and sale is obnoxious, make sure you have your ducks in a row dealing with these clowns, the entire paperwork process is slow, full of BS lines, and ineffective. They lost repeat business seeing that I will be in the market for 2 more cars within the next 6 months. read more

He was very friendly and really listened to what I was looking for. I left with a 2013 Nissan Altima that day and am loving it. The rest of the staff were also more then helpful and friendly! I would skip this dealership. I wish that I did. I know I have less than great credit, however after going to their dealership I was told that I could be put into a car that I wanted for $500 down and $600 per month. I have a text message from the salesman at the dealership confirming this. Then they pulled the typical bait and switch. The day after telling me I had approval they told me that the car was sold but they had another one with much more mileage that I could purchase at the same price, and monthly rate. I found a couple other same car/yr models just with less mileage on their website. The salesman texted me and told me that he could prob. make those work if the price of the cars drop overnight. Well guess what?? The price did not drop. Then after making contact with the owner of the dealership I was put in touch with someone new in the finance department. He told me that I never had the approval that I was told (even though I still have it in writing). That he is unable to do anything unless I come up with more money. My credit was ran at a half a dozen banks. Automax is a typical used car dealership telling you what you want to hear, promising the world to bait you in and then switching things up! read more

Wow....the prices look good and the vehicle looks good. After I emailed and inquired about a truck I was reading the reviews and they called back. I was really concerned about all the negative reviews I was reading on Yelp. Sure enough, the concerns I was reading about came through and there was a major red flag. We live a ways away and I asked if they could bring the truck to the Attleboro location so I could check it out with my mechanic and maybe take a test drive. Their response was "We don't offer that kind of service. Have you checked out the other cars at the Attleboro location?" Wait...What? If someone is coming to spend thousands of dollars, the last thing someone wants to hear is "We don't offer that kind of service." Makes me wonder how they would be if something really went wrong. I should have trusted my instinct. I'd rather look at bigger and more reputable dealers who offer the customer service that I am looking for. read more

Not the best experience at this dealership. I bought the car June 17. June 23, I still hadn't received my registration, which I paid them to do. I called and left a message with my salesman and didn't hear back. Morning of June 25 I called my insurance agent to find out they still hadn't faxed over the necessary paperwork to insure the car either. I call later that afternoon and was told by my salesman he would call back, 2 hours later I had to call him back and he said, "It probably got lost in the mail and it should arrive this week." I checked my registration status on marmv.com to find out the car was registered June 25, after I spoke with him, so they forgot and also lied about it. My salesman also said he would email me a scanned copy that evening and I never received it. I called to leave a message with him and the manager the next day, June 26 and I'm still "waiting" for them to call me back. Now it's July 3 and still no registration and I had to pay $25 to get a duplicate and print it from the website just so I could get the car inspected finally. Their customer service went downhill as soon they got my money for the vehicle, it was very disappointing. I will not go back. read more

OMG what a nightmare. Made an appointment, test drove the car, haggled over price - typical car sales stuff. So far everything was fine. We settled on a price but the whole thing took two hours and my wife was done and wanted to go home. They accept my $500 dollar deposit and I take my wife home. I come back two hours later to finish the paperwork and am told to sit in the waiting room area. After 30 minutes the manager calls me in to his office to tell me that car was sold after they accepted my deposit. He stated someone at their Leominster branch purchased the car during the time it took me to drive my wife home and return. He essentially said that since I hadn't completed the purchase and sale agreement my $500 deposit was essentially meaningless. What a horrible experience. Now I understand why there are so many 1-star reviews here. Be very careful when dealing with these people and get everything in writing. Do not give them the benefit of any doubt on any part of the transaction. read more

Well my Automax experience was possibly the worst sales experience in my life. I began searching for a vehicle a few weeks ago and found the car I was looking for here. I visited a total of 6 times in two weeks. Two were for test drives and one was for a paperwork discussion. The other 3 were a complete waste of time. First day was a test drive and a discussion about the work they would do to the car to make it road-worthy. The second time they called (three days later) to say the car was ready, I drove over there to find the car on the lift... they had just finished appraising the work. Three days later they called again and said the car was again ready for me to look at. Once again I showed up and the vehicle was still on the lift but had most of the mechanical work completed. That weekend I called and asked if the car was ready to be driven, I drove to the dealership (BTW a 2 hour ride from my home) and drove the car once more. After the test drive I asked the sales person Chris to write up the paper work for me for the following Tuesday (now they knew I wanted an extended warranty and financing options from day one). He said "Ok, I'll have it for you then." I came back on Tuesday evening after work to another wasted drive. He did not have all the paperwork ready for me, he only had a few basic numbers. By this point I was truly angry. I told him to email it to me by noon the next day (which he graciously completed by 11:45 am). However there were quite a few errors on the paperwork, as if he had rushed through it. None of the numbers added up to the amount listed and the loan payments were incorrect. After a few emails back and fourth asking him to clarify the warranty coverage and the ridiculous fees, he finally told me that he didn't have the answers I was looking for and that I would have to talk with the manager Dave. If he had only told me this in the first place, before the dozen back-and-fourth emails, I would not have been angry at him. That Friday I took a half day at work to drive over to the dealership and speak with the manager. I sat down and started going over the paperwork with him, clarifying the warranty, fees and recalls on the vehicle. Starting with the warranty I asked about the coverage and what the limitations were, he had sent me the coverage options scan of a pamphlet without the limitations page. When I asked to see the limitations page he said "You'll get that when you buy the car." I replied "I really need to see that before I buy" and he ignored the comment. I then continued into the ridiculous $499 documentation fee, asking what was involved in the fee, he told me "Every dealer has one" and proceeded to say "If you want to waive the fee I can't do that." I then asked "Why is it not included in the price of the vehicle?" And he replied, "Because it's just not... you know what lets forget this... do you even like the car?" Baffled that he had the balls to ask me that, like I would have put up with the B.S. if I didn't like the car. I said "Yeah, I love the car." We then proceeded to talk about the recalls and if he would set up the service. He said "We won't do that, that's done by an authorized dealer," I replied, "I know but will you at least set up the service, you don't have to pay for it, just set it up..." He firmly responded "No." By this point I was very frustrated. He probably saw this and then said "We did good work on the car, we did everything you asked..." I then replied, "Well I don't think you did, you put cheap tires on the car and claimed you put in $1800 worth of work, good tires would be just under a third of that... and you haven't fixed the dents yet..." At that point he reacted as any five year old would have, he threw the papers on the desk and said "Let's forget it!" and turned away from me. I stood up and said "OK... have a nice weekend." In short their sales staff is incompetent and their manager is an a-hole. He refused to sell me the car because I asked too many questions and wasted my time in doing so. If you want transparency from these guys, be prepared to ask questions but also be prepared to not drive away in the car you want. I truly hope this review makes it across their desks because I want their manager and everyone else to know how my experience really was. read more

Overall a horrible experience. Went with my fiance to hopefully find a good price on an all-wheel drive car. As soon as we pulled in there were problems. They have too many cars on the lot, leaving nowhere for customers to park. Once we finally squeezed our truck into a very tight parking space we realized it would be easier to find a salesman right away. We went inside and a guy sitting down asked what we were looking for. He didn't even bother to stand up. We explained what type of cars we were interested in and he immediately asked if we looked on the website to narrow down the options because they "don't test drive multiple cars on Saturdays." To me that sounded absolutely ridiculous as I imagine Saturday would be the busiest day for them. I felt he was very dismissive and rude and didn't want to give us the time of day. Perhaps we didn't look rich enough for him to bother. Everything about the interaction indicated that he didn't want our business. Completely unacceptable and insulting! We went outside and quickly skimmed through the website (which was awful to navigate) before deciding it really wasn't worth our time and effort. They certainly lost a potential sale as we ended up buying a great quality car from another dealership the very next day. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone! Don't waste your time dealing with these guys when there are so many other dealerships out there that actually appreciate your time. read more

I was a loyal customer of the service department for 5 years. Recently I had car trouble and brought it in. After 6 days I hadnt heard anything so I called. The receptionist told me the service department was busy but that I could hold for someone. The receptionist then lied and told her boss that I had sworn at her and he got on the phone and talked to me like I was trash. When I objected he said to take my car elsewhere. His boss got on the phone and apologized I told him I was going to have my car towed elsewhere. They charged me $100 for service on the seventh day, never told me what was wrong with the car. The car was at the new mechanic 4 hours they told me exactly what was wrong and didn't charge me a thing. If this is how they treat loyal customers imagine how theyll treat you. read more

Let me start by saying this has been a night mare right from the beginning. We are from Maine and found the car my son was looking for. The finance guy Jon talked us into the extended warranty and then said if you don't want it you can cancel anytime WHAT A LIE! I called about 4 days after to cancel and got the run a round saying you have to wait 30 or maybe it's 60 days he said to cancel. Well I do not have to wait I was told I could CANCEL ANYTIME. We were charged 2200.00 for 2 years ridiculous I am sure most of it went in there pocket that's why they don't want to cancel and also now it will be prorated. This is only a few details of the TERRIBLE experience we had. Also had a hard time just to get the Certificate of title application so we could licence it. There is more I could say but if the warranty does not get canceled I will have to get a lawyer. I even have him recorded saying it would be canceled two weeks ago but I have heard nothing. This is not how you treat customers who keep you in business. I will never buy another car for Automax and if your smart you won't either. And for Jon the finance guy your not honest so beware of him. I asked if he went to school to do finance and he said no I learned it from the streets I am street smart. That should have been a red flag for me right there and he was not professional at all. Well by the looks I think you should have went to school because you would have learned how to treat your customers with respect because with out us you wouldn't have a pay check. I bought my Ford Edge at the Marlborough location in Sept 2016 and was trading in my car to purchase a new car. When doing the financing, I told them roughly what I owed but I wasn't 100% sure but when the sales rep came back and told me what I owed I was a bit shocked as it was more than I thought it would be... come to find out they don't actually take the 2 minutes to call the current lender to get the actual payoff, they go off the credit report which wasnt up to date so I ended up financing more than I needed to and had to get reimbursed from my old lender but Automax didn't send them the full amount I financed as my payoff so Automax basically kept about $300.00 from me. I tried many times to call and left messages but they were never returned. I doubt I would do business again with this dealer for that reason... they basically stole money from me. I should have done more to get it back but it became exhausting making call after call to be ignored. read more

Agreed to an all-in price (car, trade-in, tax, title, etc.) on a car with the sales person (Louis), who confirmed it with his sales manager. This took 2 1/2 hours, test-drove a few cars plus negotiations, it took a while...then I had to wait an hour and 10 minutes to talk to the business manager to do the paper work/financing. I asked sales person and a sales manager how long it will be to talk to the business manager 3 times - they assured me that I was next and he is just finishing up with the person he's speaking with. I asked if I could just come back tomorrow to finish the deal, they said no the car would go back "to market". Finally got in with John the business manager. He tells me my payment will be $375/month. It should only be about $320/month. He explains that in order for them to add $1500 on my trade-in they need to finance me at 6.24%, I was expecting 2.5-3%. Told him I will just get financing from my bank. He said - they wouldn't be able to do the deal as is because "they need to make up money for giving me another $1500 on my trade". This -obviously- made no sense to me. John tells me that I should take the loan as proposed for 3-4 months then, I'm guessing refinance it, he never explained what happens after 3-4 months. Other than the loan would stay in effect and I end up paying ~$4000 more than I should over the term of it. I asked why would I bother doing that - silence. John left to speak with sales manager, I never saw him again. After a few minutes Louis the sales person came back in. He tries to re-explain the deal we agreed to. Also stating "they need to make up money for giving me another $1500 on my trade". Originally we never spoke about them making up money on trade-in value, or payments or financing only price and all-in costs. He also suggested that I take their proposed financing for 3-4 months, again I'm only guessing refinance it, he never explained what happens after 3-4 months either. I also asked him why would I would I do that - silence. At this point I'm pretty upset/angry...I go out and talk to a sales manager - who tries to explain to me "they do not make any money on the interest rate, only fees from financing". He wouldn't/couldn't explains what those fees are to me. I asked what bank is charging 6.24% interest - he wouldn't/couldn't tell me. Told him he just wasted 3 1/2 hours of my time. He told me "no they didn't. We gave you an opportunity to buy a car". Which is true, however I was the only one dealing in good faith. At this point I looked at all 3 of the sales managers behind their counter and shouted at them "You all SUCK".... silence...I left...wasting 3 1/2 hours of my time. read more

I have had the same issue with the car I purchased. I was told it had a clean carfax and pretty sure I was shown a fake one. I had a mini-accident a few months after purchasing it. My bodyshop which is highly trusted showed me the report. My car had been rear ended previously to me buying it. There were missing screws and the bumper was not lined up correctly (not noticeable when looking at it). They also were a pain with the credit and completely pressuring about having to buy it ASAP. Even after I said I did not want "GAP" insurance, they tried to sneak it onto the final paper work. I shouldve walked away but really needed a new car. The owner only came out to apologize for the credit manager's behavior after I had closed on the paperwork. They basically said if I did not buy the car that day, then they would raise the price back up. I would never go back to them. They also buy a lot of rental cars from auctions and will not tell you this if you ask. My car even had a no smoking sticker in it and they tried to deny it....Buyer Beware. read more

Bought another car. had a few things that needed to be fixed, replaced and repaired BEFORE i came to pick it up. Was promised the car to be ready 2.21.09 Wasn't and now one even bothered to call me. I had to call then several times & hunt them down because i had to know whether or not to transfer my insurance. Meanwhile i had already gotten temporary plates because i thought i was going to be picking it up on Saturday 2/21/09 I had to call again to try to get ahold of Randy(salesman) or Tom Sullivan(VP of Bullshi*) both told me my car was 100% ready and fixed so that I could pick it up on 2/28/09. I showed up on 2/28/09 and guess what??? MY Car WAS NOT READY. 1 thing was fixed, never got cleaned/detailed, not even washed/waxed. When i was waiting for Randy, my salesman, to come back outside so i could point out what still wasn't completed, i waited about 15 minutes then finally went back inside. He was in Tom Sullivan's office. I waited. When he came out of Tom's off he said, while looking at me strangely, and I quote "What?" I said "I was waiting for you to come back outside to review what's NOT Completed." He said "I've got other customers" and proceeded to walk away. I was promised a full tank of gas, Tom Sullivan drove the car to the gas station right next door, put $10.00 bucks in. I asked him "who" do i discuss the problems that still aren't fixed yet on the car and he said "call the service manager" and literally SLAMMED the door in my FACE. *They will not return any of my phone calls, total avoidance, & will need to take them to court if i want to waste more of my time. Once i had given them my CASH for the car, they were totally disrespectful, ignorant and rude. With buying more than 27 cars so far, i have never ever had such a horrible experience and will Never Ever do business with them again. read more

Do not buy a car here!!!! They advertise that all their cars are "certified used" and they do a full inspection and thorough service of the vehicle. I purchased a 2006 Volvo C70 at a fair price had it been in great shape. After I signed on the dotted line, I was told I couldn't take delivery until they serviced the vehicle. You mean it isn't already known that there are no repairs needed? Five days later, I was told they had to replace the transmission and that it would be another week or two. What??? After finally getting the vehicle, there were numerous things wrong with it and I brought it back to get serviced time and time again. Three months later and the car is literally falling apart. There are 7 repair issues and they won't cover it because it's now beyond the lemon law. Worst buyer experience ever and I have horrible buyer's remorse. Never again!!! This place sucks!!! read more

I couldn't be more frustrated or disappointed. I purchased a car two weeks ago. I was overcharged $3,000, and while Dino and Mike promised to fix it I've yet to get an answer on when I'll see the check. It took three tries to get the car registered in RI, so I didn't receive the car for a full week after I paid for it. And that was only because I told them if they didn't deliver it the deal was off. I paid $824 for registration and document fees, with the understanding that $150 of that fee was to have the car delivered to me in RI. When I pointed that out, I was scolded that it was the fee to have the car registered not delivered. (are you kidding me? what's the other $675 that you charged me?) Dino did deliver the car himself, after I complained about it. I just can't bring myself to believe that there are good intentions with this many issues. I made an appointment to come in, look at the car, and hopefully buy it. Thought it ran great. Came back in to buy the car the next day. I was sitting in the office for 5 hours! He finally finished up with me, but I could not go homw with the car. It was Saturday and he said it will be ready by monday. I had a ride all set up to go in monday, and gave them a call (I live an hour away from this place) they said it wasn't ready yet and it would be ready by tuesday. I canceled my ride and apologized, and set up another for tuesday. I called at least 5 times to find out if my car was ready yet. And yet again, I hear that word "tomorrow". So again, I had to cancel a ride and apologize profusely for the inconvenience on their end. Now I'm getting irritated. The guy said he would call me right back with more info and was working on maybe getting me to take the car home today. It's been 2 hours, and they close in 2 hours. I live an hour away!!! Where do I start. This place sucks hard. I went there to purchase a car. I ask the sales person please to have a car ready for us to drive as it had been the 2nd time we would have visited and we get there the sales person wasn't ready and I told the sales person we driving pretty far and I want to make sure we can drive the car and be in and out as quick as we can. When we got there he wasn't ready nor did he have license plate for a test drive. We finally found a car we like. We were told all you have to put down is 1k. Then on our way there to sign paperwork now we need 2500. That was 3pm at 4pm we are on our way there with 2500 then when we get there we need more money down. Also the sales person asked you to be there by 6:00 and you rushed after work to get there by 6 and they still werent ready for you after numerous times you asked them to be ready and you got there and nothing was accomplished This place will screw you out of money and from what you can see they sell cars with lots of issues. Ok, this isn't as big a deal as some of the other bad reviews on here but it's still worth putting on here if only to help someone else out that might be thinking about patronizing this place. I went there to buy a new car battery for my 2001 volvo and they did replace it satisfactorily, but they overcharged me by around $50 (I found the battery they put in for around $105-$120 online and they charged me $149.99). They then had the balls to tell me that they were giving me a $17 "discount" on the battery. They also charged me $29.99 for the 4 minutes it took the guy to unscrew the two connectors and put the new one in. Mind you, this all happened before I was even told that they had batteries for sale. I came in and asked if they sold them and the guy asked what kind of car I had. He asked for my keys and then said he'd get back to me. After sitting for a few minutes I did realize that they probably did have a battery and were going to put it in but the next time I talked to him everything had already been done and he was giving me a receipt for the "work" they had just done. If they had told me how much the battery was and how much they were going to charge me to put it in, I would have just gone to Walmart and done it myself but they didn't give me a chance to say 'no'. That's probably why they just went ahead and did it - because they knew I wouldn't pay them to do it... The whole thing just feels kinda slimy so just a heads up if you want to go there and have anything fixed. should have checked review here first! Stay away! Customer service does not get back to you, even and I quote " I may not always answer the phone, but I ALWAYS call back." Bull! I asked about returning my car there before the 30 days was up, no one gets back to me! Been dealing with this for a month there. Car was not checked for safety before it was sold, come to find out it needed new brakes and tires windshield wiper in rear didn't work and they front blades shredded, and an oil change, not even sure how the tires and brakes passed inspection? Service guys were great fixed what I needed, but management has not been helpful. they charged me $700 for something that was supposed to be free, they credited that back to me, after about 2 weeks of emailing and calling. They did give me a rental for a few days til my car was fixed, not the rental co has charged my card over $1000, and the dealership instead of calling me back over that had someone who barely spoke English call from the car rental place and tell me that was normal!! when I spoke to his boss she said it absolutely wasn't and it never should have happened yet no one has fixed it over a week later! This place is horrible!!! They make your nightmare of car buying become a reality. They tried to sell me a car that I had never test driven and then told me to "trust the dealer" (good thing I didn't). They lied to me about everything from the time I walked through the door from the number of days the car had been on the lot, to the APR for financing. They told me they would get me single digit financing which turned into a double digit in about 5 secs. Then, Sam, lied to me and told me credit score was in the 500's which I knew to be impossible. When we went to sign the paper work, and the APR magically became 17%. They told me they would call the bank the next day because they had "a good relationship with Capital one" and in the mean time, while I hadn't signed a piece of paperwork, deposited my down payment check. They lied about the warranty, telling me the car was still under the original manufacturers warranty and when I called, Nissan told me it wasn't. This place is the biggest scam and full of a bunch of fools that are selling lemons. If you do decide to carry out business with this place, be aware of Sam Dababneh the sales man who is the biggest liar and tells you what you wanna hear to move the car off the lot, and Lance the finance guy that deposits your money without having the correct signed documentation to process the deal. My purchase experience was quick and efficient, as I already had financing in hand and a vehicle picked out. It took a total of 3 hours to talk, test drive and get financing squared away. All of my loan paperwork was signed and finalized the first day. After the fact, once the sale was made, I was quite obviously no longer a priority. I was blown off by the Finance Manager and my sales person all week. I was told to cancel my insurance and provide a new insurance card for the newly purchased vehicle which I promptly took care of on day 2, a Tuesday. I am now being told that my new vehicle won't be registered until 8 days after the purchase date and I'm left driving my uninsured trade-in with my children for over a week!!! I also drive for a living and am looking at losing hundreds of dollars of income over the weekend because I cannot drive an uninsured vehicle for work. I wonder what would happen if my trade-in was unexpectedly totaled during this time frame??? They stand to lose thousands of dollars here due to ridiculous business practices. There is absolutely no reason I can't be driving my new vehicle with my current plates attached within the 10 business day grace period after purchase while the registration is transferred!!!! Horrible "customer service" and god awful lack of communication. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership, nor would I recommend friends or family to purchase here. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Let me start off by saying this place is a complete joke. Danny the general manager and Dave the finance manager are even a bigger joke then the sorry excuse for salesmen they have have working for them. I bought a LandRover from them in August on a Friday. Was told by the salesman it would be ready Monday, BECAUSE it needed 4 new tires, a brake light, and a scratch to be buffed out. Now that right there should have been a sign, because what kind of car dealer ship has a CERTIFIED PREOWNED VEHICLE ON THEIR LOT FOR SALE with an abundance of cosmetic stuff that needs to be addressed. I got the run around all week while they still had my car, tires didn't come, only 1 tire came in, I'll save you the excuses because they are quite pathetic. Finally my husband calls them and tells them I need the car Friday, because I had no car for 7 days. Well Friday it's still not ready, so they promise to come pick up the car from me when all the tires come in, and leave me a LUXURY loaner. So I have the car over the weekend, and NOTICE THE BUMPER IS HALF OFF ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. So they tell me it's just missing clips, they will fix this when put all the new tires on. Well Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday come, haven't heard from anyone. I have called the dealership multiple times, and no one seems to be able to speak with me.. RED FLAG. IM DRIVING A CAR WITH NO INSPECTION STICKEe and Thursday is the 7th day. Finally my husband has to call there Thursday and flip out in order to speak with someone. Finally Louis the service department manager tells my husband he had no idea he had to pick up my car. He sends someone down to pick up my car, and THEY LEFT ME A OLD BEAT UP TOYOTA CAROLA WITH SIDE MIRROR DUCT TAPED TO THE CAR, after i just spend over 40,000 there and still don't have my car due to their incompetence. At this point I am so angry, I call all day to talk to Danny, he is no where to be found, how ironic. Finally I called the Marlborough branch and complained and they got me in touch with Danny. Danny makes all these promises which included having the car back to me Friday at 8 am. and he would personally call me. Well Friday morning comes NO CAR, NO CALL. My husband called all morning, no one would take his calls. he had to leave work and go there int he middle of the day, 1.5 hours away. when he gets there, its a complete circus Dave is yelling at Danny, who is yelling at Louis, who is yelling at Sam. How unprofessional can this place be. They beg us not to return the car, and give us free oil changes for 5 years, and free teflon coating, etc etc. and promise in writing they will give me another key for free, the gas tank would be full, and I would have an inspection sticker. Gas was empty, NO INSPECTION STICKER!! First 3 weeks the car is running well but after 3 weeks the brakes start to squeak. At this point I have no trust in this place, I took it to Range Rover who told me that my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and the battery was drained. NOW THEY HAVE MY CAR FOR 4 MONTHS BEFORE I BOUGHT IT AND 8 DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THEY DIDN"T KNOW THE BATTERY AND THE BRAKES WERE IN NEED OF REPLACING?!?!!? So at this point I don't want these incompetent people working on my car, so I told Range Rover to replace brakes. I called Dave after, he told me no they won't reimburse me I should of brought the car back there. Now today, my battery finally died, 175 dollars later. AND I STILL DON"T HAVE THE KEY THEY PROMISED. I have filed a 93A claim against them. At this point, I don't even care if I lose money, these people are horrible and need to be held accountable. I think they underestimated me.
