Slightly used 2025 Tundra

Amazing buying experience. Timi and Ernesto handled all the details online then I finished the paperwork at the dealer. Annette handled final finance paperwork and we were on our way. One of the easiest transactions I have ever had. Some of the nicest people I have ever encountered at a car dealership. Thanks to all that made this happen. Low pressure sales is wonderful.

The only good things about this place was our sales man, Elijah! I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a new car! They tried to charge me $1300 for a "reconditioning" fee for a car that had bald tires. Luckily Elijah was able to work something out for us! Now 2 weeks later, being told that my tire rods are completely shot too! Make sure you fully examine before you buy, and look for the hidden fees! Thank you Elijah for all your help!

2021 Nissan Titan with 12,000 miles

I was looking for a Nissan Titan and AutoMax had a 2021 with only 12,000 miles. I went to AutoMax and found it on their lot. All pictures and descriptions of the truck online matched what I saw in person. Our salesperson Maria approached us and helped us with the truck. She was very kind. She got the keys for the truck and let us look at it. We took it for a test drive and I fell in love with the truck. The truck still had the new car smell that I love and even parts of the truck wasn't even used. Some parts still stored inside in plastic. The truck is mint! Not sure where they get their cars, but a lot of the cars on the lot looked great. Huge selection of great cars, but I had my eyes on that Titan. Maria was very easy to work with, didn't make me feel any pressure, or uncomfortable at all. All the staff was very nice, courteous, and outgoing. Not once did a feel like I was fresh blood in a pool of sharks. You know that typical dealership feeling. I didn't get that once with anyone at AutoMax. The process was very quick and painless. I kept waiting for some kind of catch. I didn't try to get them to lower the price either. Their prices are very fair. Compared to carmax, carvana, and other dealers I was looking at, they had the best truck at the best price. I was selling my car on the street the next day and was using that money for a down payment. We completed all the paperwork that day and they held my truck overnight for me. Maria kept in contact with great communication the next day. I sold my old car on the street, came back to give them the down payment and pick up my truck. They filled the gas tank to full on the truck, yes even with these gas prices and a big truck, they filled it up. I was impressed. I was transferring my old plates, they took my plates and put them on the truck for me, and gave me a new registration. They gave me all my papers and the keys and we were on our way. It was really a quick and painless process. The inside building is really cool looking too. A really comfortable atmosphere. When we're ready to trade in our other car, we will be going to AutoMax Ocala again.

2 weeks late on reviewing. Bought a 2022 Silverado. Dealt with Ernesto, he was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. No bs with any aspect. Which i appreciated greatly. Great experience all around.

I am actually shocked that the rating is so low. I personally had a great experience. After weeks of searching online and comparing prices I decided it was time to go see the cars in person. Auto max was last on my list because it was farthest from my home but I should have just gone there first and saved myself the headache. I found they were very upfront with the prices and very honest. Donte was my sales person and he was great. He was very friendly and I really felt like he worked hard with us and for us to get us what I feel is a very fair price on our auto. Our finance guy was Dan and he also was very nice and had us in and out and in our new vehicle in no time. There was some negotiation and some back and forth but I have bought cars from various dealers recently and I really have to hand it to Automax because they made me feel like a valued customer. I don't know maybe our sales rep Dante was just extraordinary.

(Kelly blue book) I moved in with my mother about 3 months after she purchased the car. We noticed that the car was leaking when it rained, the seat belt did not work on the back right side. I asked my mom to call the dealer but she is elderly and procrastinates, so she never followed through. Unfortunately, I did not get involved until a year later. I called the dealership and explained the situation. I masked mom to take some form of responsibility, that I felt he overcharged my mom and that he sold her a car that was not functional. He called me "unreasonable" and offered no help, claiming that we waited too long. His tone was condescending and he was anything but empathetic. So, here I am, letting you know that this place will take you for a ride if you let them. They clearly took advantage of an elderly woman, which is criminal, in my book, and they most certainly lack professional communication skills. I do not recommend.

I made an appointment, and yes like most dealerships that didn't maybe! I was excited when the service guy I finally talked to said they have a shuttle. Ok, I'm game hey take me home I don't need to sit and watch for 2 hours. 1.5 hours later shuttle driver is in his way, he was stuck at the bank...not for a customer he just needed to go to the bank. Another customer waiting for shuttle as well....they forgot me but I was watching. So finally in the shuttle. You're not getting 5 stars but man this shuttle driver was kinda rude, but end of ride he's a local Gabe me so much history and turned out to be a great drop off! Service department not so much! So 5 stars.....cute little native Summerfield driver 5 stars Jeep Dealership service ZERO stars. Having a bad ass extended warranty 5 stars Being asked to accept text messages...when I thought it was about service....Zero stars Miki it was all a sales pitch. Give ya 5 for effort = ZERO because you made it seem like about my Jeep being serviced. But we both know it was a sales pitch. Hey go for it....need a softer sales approach. ZERO stars. So in case your wondering why 3 stars. It wasn't all bad wasn't very good either.

This review is based solely on our personal experience with Ken & Linda Phillips "Phillip's CJDR"…read morein Ocala FL. I will preface by stating that I have spent my entire nearly 50 year career in the Auto Industry. With this in mind I originally reached out directly to John Cherry (GM) via email as I wanted to be introduced to the proper team member without too much hassle. Although not hearing back directly from John Cherry I was contacted by a Very Nice Gentleman Dale Coleman. Dale and I had a short but nice chat regarding what I was looking for. Dale connected me with Jessica Stevenson, Also very nice. Jessica described the vehicle after looking it over. Over the next week or so with a bit of negotiation we did agree to purchase vehicle and Jessica agreed to deliver it to our home in the Village's as we weren't expecting to be in Florida until March. Prior to flying in to Florida Jessica phoned to mention she now had the Tag for the vehicle, I told her that I was actually coming earlier than March and to overnight it to us in Florida on Feb 3rd. It wasn't until obtaining screws for tag that I got in and drove vehicle for the first time on the 5th of Feb. Upon pulling it out of garage and rolling for about 2 houses up our street I noticed that Transmission was whining. I immediately reached out to speak with Jessica and the first thing Jessica said was maybe it is cold, Maybe it's because it had sat 2 months before arriving... I said to Jessica that based on my years in auto industry I thought there was a serious issue. Jessica said there was nothing wrong with it but if I was concerned I could take it to Phillips Toyota to inspect as there was still a month left on warranty. I decided that was a great idea and immediately took it and checked it in with Melanie (Service Attendant). After having both the Shop Foreman and Tech drive it Melanie stated Transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of $7900. I then spoke again with Jessica who told me to call Jim Garvin and he'll work with Melanie at Phillips Toyota. After a week or so of frustration feeling as though I was being put off I made it clear to Melanie that I needed something to happen. The Vehicle has now been at Phillips Toyota since my arrival in Florida and have been told there is no transmission available, That it is on back order with No ETA. I bought the vehicle months ahead of our arrival and after being here a month still no vehicle. I decided to reach out again to John Cherry to voice my concern and dissatisfaction. John had Dale Coleman touch base with me and again Dale was very nice but said Brian Baker would call me on Monday and discuss buying the vehicle back as I had mentioned being something I felt entitled to ask for. Clearly this serious issue was missed when inspected before vehicle was advertised. Unfortunately Brian Baker should not be allowed to handle After sales concerns such as this. Brian mentioned that after he spoke with John Cherry, John told him to step up as if he were trying hard to make a deal and give me a good offer to buy back the unit. Keep in mind I just bought this vehicle in good faith that as advertised it was inspected and certified. I handed over $19300 in good faith that vehicle was inspected and then Brian tells me Phillip's will give me $13000 in return. Brian stressed with me several times that he thought this was a fair solution. Consider hearing that after arriving in Florida expecting to have a good vehicle. Only driving I did upon arrival with vehicle was back to Phillip's, That is where vehicle continues to sit with No ETA on Repair to make it a worthy vehicle. Needless to say our first Florida experience is with Phillips and Brian Baker. Unfortunately my only solution is to wait with no ETA from Toyota for a transmission that was bad from the start and missed by Phillips Chrysler in Ocala. Who knows when I'll have the vehicle we negotiated for. I think it's safe to say Phillips will NOT be recommended or our go to moving forward.

* Autotrader bait-and-switch: Car listed around $27K, magically became ~$34K after fees…read more * Dealer fees: ~$1,200 " pre-delivery fee" that was nothing but profit to the dealership, anywhere large Subaru dealership it's like $95. * Markup nonsense: Acted like removing bogus fees was them "doing me a favor" * Sales behavior: Salesman went to lunch mid-deal and dumped me on a rude, dismissive manager * Manager issues: * Couldn't communicate * Didn't know what trim he was even talking about * Threw out random numbers and claimed I wanted "$15K off" when I clearly didn't, I mentioned a lower price from the listed price meaning their real listing price is $34k * Negotiation: * Would not counteroffer only said "we could take off the certification" which is their warranty. Then the car would be $32,000 exactly what their price was before their "discount" * Wouldn't take even $1 off * Car condition: * Listed car was a loaner * Actively being driven while we were "negotiating" * Would come back with more miles and possible damage, Manager then dismissed what I said and told me if I don't want a used car then I should get a new one. The 2025 car had 5,800 miles... plus more once it's brought back. So I think there should be talk about the price, even $100 off, but nope. * Appointment wasted: Car wasn't even properly available despite scheduling ahead * Outcome: Walked out * Comparison: Went to a Subaru dealer in Orlando * Zero dealer fees * Saved ~$2,000+ * Free roof rack included * Professional, straightforward experience * Final takeaway: One dealership played games and wasted time only talked about the interior that you can learn from any YouTube video; the other earned the sale by being honest and transparent and told me much more about the car, even the engine.

Headline: $150k ESCALADE GUTTED AT 4,700 MILES - LIES & ZERO SUPPORT FOR LOYAL CUSTOMER…read more The Bottom Line: If you expect the "Premium" service Cadillac promises for its $150k flagship, stay far away from Sullivan Cadillac. In the last year, I have purchased two flagship GM vehicles, spending nearly $250,000, and this is the treatment I receive in return. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS if you value your money, your time, and the integrity of your vehicle. The Failure & Substantial Impairment: My 2025 Escalade has only 4,700 miles and is currently sitting in pieces after a catastrophic electrical failure where both AC screens and control displays were flickering and failing, leaving me with no way to control the vehicle. Following GM Engineering, the dealer gutted the entire front dash and interior to replace the wiring harness. The repair failed. They are now "guessing" with an entire radio assembly on an indefinite backorder. This invasive teardown has substantially impaired the structural integrity, safety, and future resale value of my asset. Management & Service Misconduct: * Edwin Mejia (Service Advisor): Beyond dismissive with a consistently negative attitude. I am the one constantly chasing him for updates. Most critically, Edwin explicitly lied to buy time, claiming the wiring harness was being replaced following a "software update"--only to admit later that no such update even exists for this car. He had no loaner available on Day 1 and has never reached back out to provide one, leaving me stranded for 8 days (and counting) in direct violation of Cadillac's warranty. * Richard Gruber (General Manager): I escalated this directly to the GM to get real answers and see if this unprofessional attitude would change. Everything has remained exactly the same. There is a total lack of accountability for a high-value, loyal customer. The Result: A gutted $150k vehicle and zero respect for a client who has invested a quarter-million dollars in GM products this year. Do not trust Sullivan Cadillac with your investment.
