First time coming here since I moved. I will say I was not impressed with the service check in. It was my first time coming in for a reason. I made an appointment, and yes like most dealerships that didn't maybe! I was excited when the service guy I finally talked to said they have a shuttle. Ok, I'm game hey take me home I don't need to sit and watch for 2 hours. 1.5 hours later shuttle driver is in his way, he was stuck at the bank...not for a customer he just needed to go to the bank. Another customer waiting for shuttle as well....they forgot me but I was watching. So finally in the shuttle. You're not getting 5 stars but man this shuttle driver was kinda rude, but end of ride he's a local Gabe me so much history and turned out to be a great drop off! Service department not so much! So 5 stars.....cute little native Summerfield driver 5 stars Jeep Dealership service ZERO stars. Having a bad ass extended warranty 5 stars Being asked to accept text messages...when I thought it was about service....Zero stars Miki it was all a sales pitch. Give ya 5 for effort = ZERO because you made it seem like about my Jeep being serviced. But we both know it was a sales pitch. Hey go for it....need a softer sales approach. ZERO stars. This review is based solely on our personal experience with Ken & Linda Phillips "Phillip's CJDR" in Ocala FL. I will preface by stating that I have spent my entire nearly 50 year career in the Auto Industry. With this in mind I originally reached out directly to John Cherry (GM) via email as I wanted to be introduced to the proper team member without too much hassle. Although not hearing back directly from John Cherry I was contacted by a Very Nice Gentleman Dale Coleman. Dale and I had a short but nice chat regarding what I was looking for. Dale connected me with Jessica Stevenson, Also very nice. Jessica described the vehicle after looking it over. Over the next week or so with a bit of negotiation we did agree to purchase vehicle and Jessica agreed to deliver it to our home in the Village's as we weren't expecting to be in Florida until March. Prior to flying in to Florida Jessica phoned to mention she now had the Tag for the vehicle, I told her that I was actually coming earlier than March and to overnight it to us in Florida on Feb 3rd. It wasn't until obtaining screws for tag that I got in and drove vehicle for the first time on the 5th of Feb. Upon pulling it out of garage and rolling for about 2 houses up our street I noticed that Transmission was whining. I immediately reached out to speak with Jessica and the first thing Jessica said was maybe it is cold, Maybe it's because it had sat 2 months before arriving... I said to Jessica that based on my years in auto industry I thought there was a serious issue. Jessica said there was nothing wrong with it but if I was concerned I could take it to Phillips Toyota to inspect as there was still a month left on warranty. I decided that was a great idea and immediately took it and checked it in with Melanie (Service Attendant). After having both the Shop Foreman and Tech drive it Melanie stated Transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of $7900. I then spoke again with Jessica who told me to call Jim Garvin and he'll work with Melanie at Phillips Toyota. After a week or so of frustration feeling as though I was being put off I made it clear to Melanie that I needed something to happen. The Vehicle has now been at Phillips Toyota since my arrival in Florida and have been told there is no transmission available, That it is on back order with No ETA. I bought the vehicle months ahead of our arrival and after being here a month still no vehicle. I decided to reach out again to John Cherry to voice my concern and dissatisfaction. John had Dale Coleman touch base with me and again Dale was very nice but said Brian Baker would call me on Monday and discuss buying the vehicle back as I had mentioned being something I felt entitled to ask for. Clearly this serious issue was missed when inspected before vehicle was advertised. Unfortunately Brian Baker should not be allowed to handle After sales concerns such as this. Brian mentioned that after he spoke with John Cherry, John told him to step up as if he were trying hard to make a deal and give me a good offer to buy back the unit. Keep in mind I just bought this vehicle in good faith that as advertised it was inspected and certified. I handed over $19300 in good faith that vehicle was inspected and then Brian tells me Phillip's will give me $13000 in return. Brian stressed with me several times that he thought this was a fair solution. Consider hearing that after arriving in Florida expecting to have a good vehicle. Only driving I did upon arrival with vehicle was back to Phillip's, That is where vehicle continues to sit with No ETA on Repair to make it a worthy vehicle. Needless to say our first Florida experience is with Phillips and Brian Baker. Unfortunately my only solution is to wait with no ETA from Toyota for a transmission that was bad from the start and missed by Phillips Chrysler in Ocala. Who knows when I'll have the vehicle we negotiated for. I think it's safe to say Phillips will NOT be recommended or our go to moving forward. read more

A few months ago I took my Jeep into Phillips to have an issue with the engine light looked at. I explained to the service department that it was an ongoing warranty issue. Not only did they charge me $1,000 but now I go to get my oil changed and find out that there's no oil on the dipstick. You would think for somebody that supposedly had to tear my engine apart they would have put oil back in the engine. I wouldn't let these people work on a Barbie car. read more

Had warranty work done at this dealership just to have the same issues pop back up again shortly after but to add onto it they never replaced a battery I paid for as it stopped working a couple days after getting it back ( they had my car for a little more than a month ). When I called back to see if they could replace it and the whole time they had my car I could NEVER get a call back every time I called I was sent straight to a voicemail, never a returned call. Now we have had to have more work done on the car ( same parts that they "fixed" ) just to find out that the work that was done really wasn't done or if so it was not done as it should have been ( to say it in the nicest way ) pretty much playin around to get paid and tinker with things to make it look like it was done. lose parts.. stripped parts.. rusted parts.. thanks for nothing even though it was nothing for you becasue you still get paid to rip people off. They tell me that my warranty doesn't cover that even though I've got the tire warranty then I said OK I'll take it somewhere else and get a tire I go and to replace hinges my fuel pump every time I pump stops my air blows cold at 80 and my car sat there for a whole week. They told me my car was ready, and there was nothing wrong so all the things I pointed out they did nothing about. Why did it sit there for a week the hinges they told me to pick up my car they're gonna order the hinges mind you my car was there for a week. It's been a week or two. I haven't heard anything. We're still waiting on hinges. They do not update me. I have to reach out. They do not answer every single time. I have to leave a voicemail. So if you just want your car to sit there and not get anything done, go ahead and bring it by. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had a very mixed experience. Let's start with the positives -- Alexis was AWESOME. She kept it very real -- no fake sales pitch, no pressure -- and I really appreciated that in a salesperson. I genuinely enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to absolutely anyone. Zack, who handled my financing paperwork, was also great -- laid-back, professional, and easy to work with. They are the only reason I am leaving 2 stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the process was way more stressful than it ever should've been, thanks to Ron, the General Sales Manager. On day one, when I walked out because they wouldn't meet my offer, Ron followed me into the parking lot -- loud and arrogant -- and I told him right then that I didn't like the way he was speaking to me. Despite that, he eventually agreed to the exact deal I had been asking for. Based on that, I told them to run the credit and said I'd be back to look at the numbers. When I came back, the numbers were off. I asked for Ron to come in, but he didn't show... 20 minutes or so later, I saw him outside in the show room (face stuck in his phone), and I mentioned I was waiting on him, he got instantly snippy and dismissive. I'm not sure if Ron woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what, but his attitude was out of line. He denied ever agreeing to the deal (which was a flat-out lie), and -- conveniently while my husband was in the lobby with our two kids, who we had dragged through this entire exhausting process -- he told me he wasn't going to sell me the car anymore. How convenient that he waited until my husband wasn't around. When I asked to speak with a manager, Ron arrogantly said, "Oh, I'd be happy to get him in here." (Perfect -- so would I.) John, the GM, came in shortly after. He wasn't particularly warm, but he was professional -- and that was all I needed. John implied it was a "mistake" on Rons part, which was maybe why he was so defensive. Very mature for a grown man, eh? I never saw Ron again after that (thank God.) In the end, I did get the car -- but I left feeling more frustrated and drained than excited. That "I just got a new car!" feeling was completely gone after dealing with Ron Wulff. I honestly said to myself, "I never want to go through that again." Because of Ron's arrogance, dishonesty, and complete disregard for how customers should be treated, I can't recommend this dealership -- and I personally won't be returning. read more

Drive somewhere else to a dealership that would be more professional and could actually help fix the reason you were in there. They hired new staff which did nothing to help their image. They are rude and money driven and care nothing about the customer after the sale, and if you bring your vehicle in for service and didn't buy your car there you get treated worse. I was going down I75 at 75 mph when my Jeep decided to just shut off on me. This was not good because I needed to be in Valdosta. I did a quick search and saw I was only ten minutes away from this dealership, so I carefully made my way there. I explained my dilemma, what happened and that there were several lights lit up on the dashboard. They said seeing I didn't have an appointment I would have to wait five hours to be seen. I asked if someone could take a quick look at it to see if it was safe to drive and they refused. I have never been to a dealership where they refused to help me in an emergency situation. I felt their customer service was also very poor and will not return there. read more

Went in for a 9:15 appointment to plug a hole in my tire and diagnose an a/c issue. The technician was assigned at 10:30. The a/c issue turned out to be a condenser and they had to order from parts. At 11:15, I asked why my car had been sitting out in the parking lot and how much longer parts would take. Amazingly, they were ready right after I mentioned it to them. They said it would take $1000 of labor at $180/hour so another 6 hours. I told them I would get it done somewhere else and to pull up my car. At this point they told me they would plug the tire and get it up front. So for a 9:15 appointment, they hadn't even plugged a tire 2 hours later. They don't value customers time, have horrible communication, and after finally plugging the tire at 12:15, they didn't even fill up the air enough to turn off the sensor alert. read more

I would never buy a car from this dishonest dealership. Bought an expensive car, brakes made noise, ask dealership to fix they said its new and brakes need to get used. Took that for face value then brought back as it has gotten worse, now they say I missed the cut off for them to fix by 10 days. Is this customer service? Service advisors suck wouldn't recommend this place they first told me the warranty company didn't cover the full repair cost so I was like okay can you just fix whatever they cover and let me know what else is left which was hoses because they were contaminated and the advisor told me he'd check with the tech to see if they could do that, he called back saying that they could so I'm like okay cool I'll just go that route because 2k is alot of money for just hooking up hoses a hour pass I get a phone call saying they could no longer do it because they didn't want to be liable if anything were to happen in which I stated I wasn't driving the vehicle of the lot I was going to have it towed and he stated if I wanted to continue to go with the route I stated they wouldn't even fix the issue but now all of a sudden the repair cost to put hoses on dropped to 1800$ because he got a discount from his manager lol this place is trash wish I could leave 0 stars read more

I would not recommend Phillips CJDR for your new vehicle purchase. I purchased a new jeep from them and unfortunately they did not have a jeep that had all the options I wanted but stated they could be added. Unbeknownst to me my car was sent to a third party to have this work done. When I got my jeep back I was horrified. Phillips didn't verify with me what step rails were going to be used which are the ugliest round pipe looking things I've ever seen. Then the IOU stated the garage door opener buttons would be on the vision. These buttons for under the vision. So everytime I enter or exit my home I have to fold down the vision . You may think that's not a big deal but I have three buttons to push each time I enter or exit and because the vision won't close properly now it rattles when driving. The worst thing of all is when I got my jeep back there is now a deep scratch on the fender. For three weeks now we have been trying to work with these people to have these issues addressed with no luck so save yourself all the headache and aggression buy your jeep from some where.else. read more

Buyers please beware. We leased a vehicle from the dealership and turned it in after four years with 16,000 miles on it. Not even a scratch on it. We were charged $1300 by Chrysler Capital where they found four areas of damage repaired over air bubbles and dirt. We were obviously sold damaged goods. The general manager said that he did not care about our future business even though we currently own a fairly new Dodge Ram. Warning, maybe in buying or leasing any vehicle a third-party should be involved with dishonest and disloyal dealerships such as Phillips Chrysler. No effort to even help us. read more

I have purchased two 3500 rams from Phillips the first went off good in 2020 dealt with Jon novack good experience. I recently purchased a 2024 ram from Phillips and was talked into a extended warranty contract. i was told at that time i had 60 days to cancel and receive a full refund less 50 to a hundred bucks. i canceled the contract got the run around when trying to cancel of course but got it canceled within 30days but you guessed it wasn't made whole. 3or400 dollar lesson. buyer beware here they will try every angle to make a dollar from you. Do not buy a warranty through a dealer. I'd like to share a recent service experience I had at Phillips Chrysler Dodge here in Ocala. Normally I would not post anything like this, but I think at this point, this is necessary to help prevent others from having similar negative experiences. I recently brought my 2021 Dodge Ram Limited Cummins 4x4 2500 truck into the Philips Dodge Service Department for a transmission shifting issue. When I called to ask what was going on with the truck (because no one called me after they had possession the entire day), I was told that the vehicle was showing no codes and no shifting issues were present during the test drive. When I went to pick up my truck I asked the Service Manager Gary Winkler what the technician had said. He replied that the technician drove it and didn't find any issues. I thought to myself that this is a little odd as I have driven this truck every day for the last 3 years and it definitely feels weird. After we said our goodbyes I noticed that the odometer was exactly the same as when I dropped it off (the RO reflected that it had been driven 4 miles- when It had been driven ZERO miles), which means they did not test drive it. The Service Manager Gary Winkler lied to me about it being test driven. Gary apologized profusely after I confronted him and said he would keep it over night and drive it himself. I received a call about an hour later (around 7pm at this time) from him saying that there was definitely something going on with the truck/transmission and he would give it to his transmission specialist in the morning. I returned to the dealership the next day to have Gary tell me that no transmission issue found, but that the vehicle was showing a code for PCM tampering. Meaning that it was showing that someone put a tuner on my truck. He said that this voided the warranty and he was very sorry I had no warranty any longer. I asked him to please check again. I needed to leave because I had another appointment and he called me back about 30 minutes later. Gary called and told me the same thing, and he also mentioned this with the General Manager (John Cherry) present in the room (I am still not sure how this is relevant because it only makes the situation worse as the person who manages the dealership now had first hand knowledge of the lies Gary was telling me- assuming this is true of course and not another lie because John did not introduce himself on the call). He accused me of tuning my truck with aftermarket software and that because of this, my warranty was voided. You can imagine my shock and frustration as the truck is completely stock and has only 35,000 miles. I have both RO's from Phillips. Dated the same day. One showing no codes (when I initially went to pick up the truck) and the second when they told me my warranty was voided when I went to pick it up the following day. I took the truck to the Leesburg Dodge dealership later that week. They needed to keep it for a couple days to diagnose the transmission issue. The Leesburg Dodge dealership called me and said there was a transmission code present P2701 (no PCM modification code was found by the way) and that they needed to disassemble the transmission to determine the shifting issues. They sent me a video explaining the issue. Turns out the snap ring on the 2C clutch came apart and was causing the transmission shifting issues. They replaced the entire piston assembly, gaskets, seals, and filters. The transmission works perfect now... all under warranty. The staff at the Leesburg Dodge dealership were professional, courteous, responsive, and did their respective jobs with efficiency. They were as surprised as I was of the treatment I endured at Phillips. I have had several awful experiences with Phillips Dodge (I won't get into that here) over the last 10 years and honestly, it's a relief that I'll never use them again after they blatantly and maliciously lied to my face. People make mistakes- everyone does- but when you lie to someone repeatedly, get caught, and then lie more? What kind of rotten person do you really have to be to treat a 25 year Dodge customer like that? We currently own 4 Dodge products and will continue to purchase them. Gary said he has been working at the Dodge dealership for 30+ years. It would appear to me that he is long overdue for retirement, and should find a new profession outside of customer service, and/or vehicle service department management, as his conduct was outright atrocious. I wonder now, if there have been other Phillips Dodge customers that have had similar treatment by Gary Winkler and his staff. I wonder if he has told others that their warranties were voided, when no proof or cause was provided whatsoever. God Bless Gary, as he needs it more than most. read more

They will do unauthorized work that doesn't need to be done and tell you about it after. Told me changing two radiator hoses, radiator fluid and a thermostat was a 4 hour job at $180 an hour took 8 days to do this also. One employee told me my vehicles temp is still too high while the manager tells me it's "about normal" in total cost me $1100 for two small hoses and a thermostat. Also brought the vehicle with 3/4th of a tank and got it back with 30 miles left. Very dissatisfied. However they were very polite and nice while screwing me over so I guess that was okay. read more

I just had an synthetic oil change and filter change plus an alleged multi point inspection. To my surprise it now costs $93 for an oil change. It seems everywhere else costs approximately $45 to $65 for the same synthetic oil change. Getting ready to leave I noticed I had nothing showing what got inspected and what was OK. So before leaving I checked the tire pressure on all 4 tires and all 4 needed air. So if they didn't check the tires I guess they skipped all the rest. A couple of days later I heard a dragging sound under the car. I drove all the way back to Phillips Chrysler service department to find out what was wrong. The guy who usually gets customers started on their service didn't try to help me. All the service advisers were sitting around just talking to each other and nobody helped me. Finally a mechanic was walking by and I asked for help and he looked under the car and he got up and said"damn -I'll be right back." He came back with a new access cover to get to the oil change. He crawled under the car and removed the old damaged one and replaced it with the new one. He apologized for the "idiot" that changed the oil and didn't replace the cover. And after all this not one service adviser still did not try to help me. They don't give a damn about customer service. I had a previous incident with the same vehicle with electronics failure and the battery died and the vehicle had to be towed in. At that time I was told by the electronics guy that the oil change guy that previously worked on the vehicle did not know how to test a battery and must have just gave me a battery OK reading. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with approximately 53000 miles (85,000 km). I had two issues that were bothering me (3 if you count a Small nail in a tire). Problem 1) The big issue was that my transmission was shifting hard from 3rd to 4th gear. I had an OBD-II Code P0732 which is defined as a Gear 2 Incorrect Ratio. I spent many hours researching the problem myself before thinking I need to take it in for a professional opinion. My research and feeling was that there was either a communication error or a hydraulic problem. There are many possible causes according to different diagnostic websites. I took it to Phillip's thinking that this may be just a simple thing that every Jeep owner goes through and the answer would be obvious. Problem 2) I have been fighting an evap leak for some time, as every off-road Jeep owner in the world has done. Apparently my little smoke machine just didn't have enough pressure to make the leak obvious. I asked them to smoke test it and tell me where the leak was. The price for these diagnosis would be $130.00. This was honored. That afternoon I was told that my transmission had internal failure and that a remanufactured transmission would be $6400 plus tax. I'm not sure if that included labor, nor did I find out. They said between the error code and the smell of the burnt fluid that that was the diagnosis. The smoke test showed a leak on top of the gas tank and the tank would need to be lowered to inspect further. Tire repaired I really felt like they didn't try very hard to find the actual problems. I thought that they would at least drop the pan and look for some signs of unusual or excessive wear, or take it for a test drive but no, that was not done. No further diagnostics, the transmission needed replacing. As for the gas tank needing to be lowered, I do not see the need. Without having the Jeep on a lift I can maneuver around enough to see every hose and fitting on the gas tank. I'm sure lowering the tank would be much more comfortable but at what price? Again, I just wanted the leak found. Feeling that something was overlooked, I asked an acquaintance that works mainly on Jeep modifications for some advice. A transmission shop was recommended and I called. The front man at the transmission shop advised me that they could give a second opinion as they were a repair shop, not a replace shop. There was no signs of excessive wear, the fluid may have smelled a little burnt, but not more than would have been consistent with some recent slippage. They kept me informed through the entire process and found a problem in the valve body. I had them put a rebuild kit in the valve body as advised. I have run the Jeep for several hundred miles and the problem has not resurfaced at all. The harsh shift is completely gone. This for $877.00 which included diagnosis, labor, parts, fluid... everything! I called the service manager at Phillips and let him know that I felt they gave an unfair diagnosis and asked for my $130 to be refunded. He checked with his technician and investigated the diagnosis. The reply came back that the diagnostic tree that was followed, and with the code that was given, it called for a transmission replacement. I said that I felt they didn't do enough because they didn't drop the pan or do a test drive. I was told that there was a test drive done, yet the mileage in/out is exactly the same. I was told that could have been the service advisor not putting the mileage in until the vehicle was checked out, but the service advisor seemed pretty diligent at getting all the information punched in when I arrived. In the end I was told that the "Chrysler way" is to follow the diagnostic tree and that the diagnosis was fair. A new transmission would have solved the problem. When I asked about the smoke test and said I that all the hoses and connections are visible from different points, I was told that the Chrysler way is to lower the tank to make a good diagnosis. THE TIRE REPAIR! The tire was repaired, the price for a patch was fair at $29.00. On the drive home the low tire warning light came on. The tire was filled to 31 lbs which triggers my tpms. The inflation pressure on my tires is 37lbs as indicated on the door sticker. The tire was fixed properly, I have not lost any pressure since. (My sarcastic wife laughed because the one thing they did fix, I had to finish the job). read more

They told me they'd buy my leased vehicle from me. I was on a time crunch and this dealer was local to me. I took the vehicle there on a Saturday for the transaction. The Sales GM "couldn't figure out how to do it" and "something's wrong with the system", etc., etc. Wasted an entire day. Drove out of my way to the Leesburg CJDR location without even calling (on a Sunday). Walked in the door, told the Sales GM what I wanted for the vehicle, they did a quick Carfax and look over of the vehicle and said okay. They assured me that when I arrived Monday morning before work, they'd have everything ready and waiting for me to process this Lease End through the system. Monday morning rolls around, I have a ride lined up for after I drop my vehicle off, and I am PLEASANTLY SURPRISED that everything was ready- paperwork, payoff check, everything. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! *Worth mentioning- It seems the Sales GM was a little too distracted by one of his females employees to actually try to work my deal. This was confirmed when I spoke with my sales person at Leesburg who had worked at Phillips CJDR weeks before and had left (as have many others) due to the issues this relationship was causing for the entire department. I will never trust that sales team with my personal information, etc. as they are very unprofessional and lead by someone that puts work second to play (at work). I brought my vehicle in because I needed a new ignition switch and it could only be done by the dealership. with the programming. i told them i will pay for the ignition switch and the programming and they said that they make no exceptions you have to pay for a diagnostic and we have to do it or they won't replace the ignition switch. I told them I already had that done and I'll be responsible if that doesn't fix my problem and they told me they are going to do the diagnostic if I want it changed that's our owners policy no exceptions. I asked to talk to the service manager, who assured me that everyone pays diagnostic on everything that comes in here first is not his policy. He told me it's the owners policy. I know Gary personally from years ago and my problem is definitely not with him just the dealership charging me hundreds extra for diagnostic test that's was already done and paid for. I wonder if I said I needed four tires if I'd have to pay for them to check, but I won't be back to find out. read more

Received a quote, only to have the sale cancelled by the dealer two days before I was planning to close on a 2024 Dodge Ram, after they called to get me to put a deposit on a CC to "hold my quote." I recently had some warranty work completed on my vehicle ( new radio ) seems the radios on 2018 or below seem to go haywire , the parts guys kept using the term ( delamination ) I guess the touch screen fails after about 4-5 yrs causing the radio to malfunction, anyway I get the work done and ask about a warranty on the new radio, parts guy states 2 yr warranty, how convenient for these guys when they know they got a problem with these radios and replace it with the exact same thing, strike 1 - Then i get a charge of 87.00 for all 3rd party warranty due to the service guys having to be on the phone sometimes longer than an hour ( I call BS ) even though my warranty was a platinum coverage I still get this petty azz charge , but what can you do except pay and file a complaint to Headquarters an see if I'll get my money back, overall there service was standard an they did there jobs , I talked with one of there salesman n he seemed be on the up n up with me and if I ever have to purchase a vehicle I would go to him first cuz he seemed sincere n honest in his approach to selling cars . I am not able to leave zero stars unfortunately. I bought a brand new 2020 ram 3500. The fuel pump blew up which caused engine damage and has made the vehicle a 80k paper weight. It had been nearly 3 weeks and I have no resolution to my problem, and no repair as of yet. The only thing they have told me is that my parts should be on by the first of 2021. They have not been able to provide me with a comparable rental/loaner or anything more than a 1800 number which is even less help than the dealer. Edit: My issue has been resolved. Rude, deceitful, shady. Three words to describe this dealership. I cannot suggest any stronger to NOT come here. We bought by a used car with a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty. They told us to drive our car with transmission problems 3 hours back to where we live and that when we came back it would still be covered on the warranty even though that would put the car at over 3,000 miles from when we bought it. We found out this was not true which someone else from their dealership later confirmed. If we had listened we would have had to pay over $8,000 dollars out of pocket to get a new transmission on a car we bought from them two months prior. We were hung up on by general manager John Cherry then indirectly told by someone else at the dealership to not to contact them again, even while we were in the process of getting the car fixed. From our salesman and service manager to the highest management we talked to, rudeness and condescending attitudes were what we got. It's NOT worth a "good deal" on a car you like. These guys do not deserve your money. I'm thankful for Gary Yeomans Ford Villages in Ocala for outstanding customer service and helping us with a car that they didn't even sell. I have been a Chrysler Dodge Ram customer my entire life and have dealt with about 5 different dealerships. I have spent over $70,000.00 at this dealership and I have never received worse service anywhere. I have a good understanding of what the standards should be as I was a F&I manager and Sales Manager at Mac Haik in Georgetown TX. I will keep this just to the latest issue. Today alone I have made 4 phone calls and My girl friend has made one as well. According to my phone we have spent 38 minutes on hold, been completely cut off twice been given the info for someone else's truck and still have not been able to find out what the diagnosis is on my truck that they have had for 4 days for this very reason . My Truck is my living and everyday it is in the shop I am out of work. I was finally told by a sales woman that really did try to help that the person that can give me my info is on vacation and will be back on monday. (REALLY) Saturday is one of the busiest days on the service driver, I get that but this is the second saturday in a row that they have only had two service writes on the drive. Sold us used 2015 town n country , both sides on front seats where the seat controls are broken. Without a doubt they knew this and someone there glued it in hopes it would hold.... Lasted a hour down the road and drivers side fell off. They knew that it has plastic clips that you can't replace. New panels cost over a hundred dollars a piece .... We paid 18,000. I want to start off by saying thank you to Phillips Dealership for making our car buying experience so amazing. The customer service we received was hands down above and beyond anything one would ever expect to receive. I've worked with car dealerships in the past such as Mercedes, BMW etc (which when spending a certain amount of money you expect to receive a high quality experience) but/and I can honestly say our time spent at Phillips Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram was equivalent to the customer service at these high end dealerships, if not better. I can't praise Lou the Sales Manager enough. He was such a pleasure every time we came in, very personable and a stand up guy! You can tell he has the buyers best interest in mind and we can't thank him enough for being so patient with us. Ronick was our salesman from the start and he really helped my fiancé find the car of his dreams with out breaking the bank, he as well was very patient with us and went above and beyond what is typically expected. I recommend working with him if you're ever looking for a car at that dealership. Last not but not least Brad the financing guy. Not only did he find us amazing rates but he really topped off the process with his endearing personality. Overall, a huge shout out and thank you to the best car dealership around. Where to start? My first bad visit was with an oil change after buying a new Jeep Gladiator. The jeep was brought out and then sat. I was told after 20 minutes the person with my paperwork went to lunch and that is why i was delayed. Ok things happen but i make an appointment for my oil change and have to reschedule as i was told i must have made it online as they had no record. I made it with a call. I make another appointment and it is for 0830 which is an hour drive but at least it should be first of the day( that i believed when it was made and if this was mistaken it was not correctedI arrive at 0812 and there are at least 6 vehicles in front of me. 90 minutes later and there are now 2. Why waste peoples time? I have no issue with the work the service people do, but scheduling and some other areas here need some serious re training. read more

Truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership or auto shop. Without making a four-page long review here are the quick (maybe) details. Took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in for a shifting issue and after they kept it for almost two weeks was finally told they couldn't replicate the issue but found a problem that might be causing the issue that was covered under the extended warranty (that I had purchased when I got the Jeep). That took another three days to fix. The entire time communication was bad. I had to call 2-3 times a day and almost never got any call backs. I just had to keep calling until finally the service manager I was dealing with answered the phone. Couldn't leave a VM because it was always full. Got my Jeep back and not only did it not fix the issue but now I the front caliper on the jeep was sticking and it was virtually undrivable, It was now the weekend so I couldn't take it to them until they open on Monday but I managed to get it there just as the breaks started smoking from being stuck. Upon arrival when they pulled me up in the system. I was told that when the service manager that checked me out did so, the computer auto populated someone else information into the warranty contract and it looked like I had sold my jeep to that person and they could no longer see that I had the extended warranty ( I never got a super clear answer on how that happened) and that they could NOT change it back in the system, even though they clearly changed it to start with. I was told to give them a day or so because they had to reach out to MOPAR to get it fixed. Long story short I had to call them 2-3 times a day again but this time for two more weeks. I work weekdays and don't have time to stop what I am doing to follow up with them but that's what I had to do. Eventually I had to go down to the dealership because I could not get a return call and no one would answer when I called. Spoke to the service managers manager and was told they would just go ahead and start the repair and they would be able to get the warranty figured out. That's right. They had not started the repair or ordered the parts for the repair even though they knew what it was and that they had messed up my warranty so it would be another three days to get the parts in and they would have it fixed that day. I had to take the day off and take it upon myself to contact MOPAR and was able to provide information that I was still the owner of the Jeep and they reinstated my warranty that day. After all that I was told by the dealership that the calipers wouldn't even be covered under the warranty (the reason they had not even started for two weeks) and that it was going to cost $1400 to replace them with the rotors and brakes on the front. Well, I couldn't drive it anywhere, so I conceded and told them to do the work. I waited the three days and called to see if the parts came in. In amazement the service manager I was working with answered the phone. He said the parts got there and they were working on it and it should be done that afternoon. Called back later and got no answer, no return call. The next day I got ahold of him finally and he said they were still working on it.... So, another day went by but he did give me his cell and told me to text him that he could get back to me quicker. So, the next day I had to text him to see if it was done and was told there was a line (or something) that was stripped, and they were working on fixing. Waited yet another day and sent several texts and was told they were still working. Another day goes by and more text (all of these are from me to them. They never reached out to give me an update) and finally got a message back they would have to order the new line and it would be....ANOTHER THREE DAYS. With the car taken apart at the wheels I had no choice but let them do it. Well as I am sure you can guess it's the same story as that for yet another week.
