I have one unit in the attic, and he never complains about crawling up that ladder in the heat to check it out. My pricing is a bit more due to the number of units I have, but the quality of service and respect is so worth it. I was not given a price and I have never met this person. When I declined services due to these things I received "You want me to drive 45 mins spend 1-2 hrs testing the systems for free?" Brandon kept going on and on being demeaning, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was very hostile. I explained further I am not interested due to the cost as I would like to get several quotes and several I have spoken to do not charge a fee. We had to send a few extra pictures for the claim ( probably should have been done by the technician ). Two days later we are informed that our claim was denied since the dishwasher stopped working a year ago -- totally false. Even when talking to representative at SHW and explaining "Why" would I wait a year when my dishwasher wasn't working -- they kept stating "the technician stated that the dishwasher stopped working a year ago". I can't imagine how something like this could be confused by technician and putting myself out of any warranty work being covered. Just terrible experience and I would be hesitant to use this company for services.

Thomas came to our house to look at 2 air conditioning units that weren't working. He said that…read moreboth units were out of Freon. The newer unit was frozen over so he said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until the ice melted and the other was old and should be replaced. He became frustrated with me when I had trouble understanding what was causing the unit to freeze over if there was no Freon. He appeared arrogant and I was ready to send him home at that point, but my wife was mainly dealing with him and it was a hot day. When I complained to my wife about him she said that maybe I shouldn't have bothered him while he was working and that he was very nice to her. After examining the units he spent a while discussing our options which included a new air conditioning to replace the older one or adding 5 pounds of AR-22 freon for $1100. He wanted to charge $7,500 for the new unit which seemed reasonable, but he couldn't do it until next week and, after a quick Google search, I told him $1100 was high for adding freon. Then he once again appeared upset and asked me what I was talking about. When I explained that I quickly looked it up and knew that It usually costs maybe $500-$750 he conceded that I could find it cheaper elsewhere. Then he told us it was $125 dollars for the visit. I told him that he can't charge me for the visit because nobody notified us that there would be any charge. He said that he doesn't work for free. But I told him that without prior notification of a service charge, I didn't believe it was legal for him to charge me considering he didn't do any diagnostic testing or any repair work. He just looked around and told me something any technician could have discovered in a few minutes. He then while standing in our kitchen played the whole recording of the conversation my wife had with the dispatcher to learn that we were right and we were never notified that there would be any charge. Two days later we had Meyer Heating and Air do a same day installation for the same $7500 and they added freon to the other unit for free when the $333 leak detection didn't reveal any leaks. Plus the reps at Meyer were very pleasant to work with so I gave Meyer a 5 star review and Design a 1 star review.

Their team the day of the cleaning was careful, on time, and so polite! Then my office needed their duct work cleaned. It is a semi-industrial office, and had never had the duct work cleaned in 50 years of having the building built! My one and only call was to Ductz! Patty came out to the office, and explained the entire process through all 4 of our units. The team was in our office for 2 evenings, while the office was closed. They were AMAZING! Came back in both mornings and had no idea anyone was even here. They were so clean with everything, and nothing was out of place in the offices. Great job!!!

The technician said there was no reason for cutting 2 openings in the unit. We were very upset. Also, we had to replace several of the registers due to paint being scratched off by the Ductz employee. We also had to touch up the ceiling where black marks were made by the serviceman. Peters referred this company plus they had good reviews. So much for that. Per Peter's technician's request I did let them know not to refer Ductz any longer. Hopefully they listenened. Plus, it was expensive(over $900). All that and we haven't noticed any significant change in air quality. Very disappointed.

This is they same thing that the guy in the fall tried to do when they were out to check the heater, they come up with all kind of things they want to sell you. Also, the appointment today was after they moved our original April appointment because they had other customers with broke systems. What good does it do to have their service club membership if they don't come out when you have the service scheduled.
