I have a BMW i3, which has 17 levels of weirdness for just about everything on it. I got a long crack in the windshield and started looking into getting it fixed. The dealership wanted $2200, Safelite and others ranged from $600 - 800 but I read so many bad stories about those companies on the i3 Facebook page and other forums (25% of people were fortunate and got installers who knew the quirks of the vehicle and did a good job, the other 75% had stories that ended with them spending hundreds more because of problems with the glass, damaged trim which costs hundreds to replace, etc).
After doing a ton of research I found Autoglass Services. I talked to Mark and it was clear that he knew these cars and what it takes to do the job right. It took him and Brad about 45 minutes to do the replacement, I stayed in the shop and watched as they expertly did the extensive trim disassembly, removed the old glass without damaging the carbon fiber frame, replaced the windshield, and put everything back together to the tight tolerances, just like it rolled off the line in Germany.
They have done over 100 i3's, and every other BMW out there, so they know these cars well. Importantly, they also take pride in what they do, work carefully, and are total pros.
They earned my highest recommendation.
