Replaced a roll up window in San Fran for $200, so I'm not sure why this was so much. 2) they ordered the wrong part from Chevy and we had to reschedule. The first technician (Joseph) didn't verify he had the driver-side part before driving out to me. I had already removed the window cover I had made (which was very stable, quiet, and waterproof) so he could do the work. But since he couldn't do the replacement, he put this cheap plastic film over the shards of glass. Thin plastic ... next to sharp glass ... Anyway, that was so flimsy and incredibly loud. Luckily I was leaving for a work trip, so I wasn't driving my car (and had a secure garage to put it in). They were able to get it repaired correctly on the first day I was back from my trip.
