In March of 2023 I brought my 2019 Ford Escape into Route 23 Automall for an engine failure. This repair took 2-3 weeks and I was not given a loaner. Less than a year later, in March of 2024, I brought the same car in for a transmission failure (great design, right Ford?). Again, I was not given a loaner, and my car has been in the shop for over 4 weeks now. I was told that a new transmission was put in, but engine lights came on when they did that they could not figure out. For the past 2 weeks, I have been given the runaround and cannot get any answers from Alexis in Quicklane. If a certified Ford auto shop cannot figure out how to fix their own cars, that is a huge problem. Needless to say, if and when I do get my car back from them, I will not be returning, and I will certainly not recommend Route 23 Automall Quicklane to anybody. In anybody is wondering, there is a Class Action Lawsuit against Ford for their transmission issues. Gerkarrah Jones v. I made an appointment with Route 23 Auto Mall on a Monday for the following Monday explaining the situation. I took off work and made arrangements to drop the car off. On Saturday at 2:20pm I got a text saying my appointment for Monday was cancelled (no reason given). I saw the text it at 3:05 (dealership closed at 3) and was not able to call and find out why. Since I had taken off work, I thought to bring it there at 7:30am (original appointment time) and see if they could just listen to the "clicking" and possibly make another appointment to address it if a known issue. After a lengthy explanation of my appointment, cancellation and reason for being there (they had no record of me and wouldn't give me any consideration until I showed them the texts I got). I was directed to Vinny. Vinny told me to leave the car and I would be charged a diagnostic fee for looking at it and then the cost of repairs. I shared that the car had 9k miles on it and I would think Ford would make good on any part that failed prematurely. Vinny had no time nor consideration for me at all and bluntly asked if I was leaving it or not. I immediately left with the worst experience behind me. I was turned off by the sales team and now by the service team. I will NEVER recommend this dealership for anything and in fact put in effort to make sure none of my friends or associates visits this dealership in the future. STAY AWAY from Route 23 Auto Mall!

Jarred was great to work with and made this a simple and painless process. I took the car to my mechanic; he said the car was in great condition and saw no issues, so that was a relief. The only reason I am not leaving 5 stars as I was disappointed that they only provided me with one key fob. To obtain another one it landed up costing me around $500. When I asked where the other key fob was, I was told none of the cars come with this. Yet I was conveniently handed a business card of someone who could provide one. Kind of felt suspicious to me that they were holding onto the second key fob. Then maybe working with this guy to sell and program that key fob back to customers who just bought a car from them! Not saying this is happening, but I just don't understand after spending all that money, where is the second key fob? The car also had a really odd, shaped plastic front license plate bracket, in that was not the same height as a US spec license plate. I took it off and it was stamped "Nissan" on the back, so it was not for a Renegade, let alone even a Jeep! I had to spend $50 for one to properly fit the bumper and plate. When I picked up the plates, I mentioned this to Genesis. She told me to email her a screenshot of the purchase and would look into reimbursing me for this. I have not received a response yet. Again, minus the key fob and license plate bracket, overall, I am happy with my purchase. When it came time to a pick the extras as far as warranties and things of that nature. Again, no pressure. While we were doing all of this, there was somebody in the backroom. Unfortunately, the vehicle has proven to be unsafe. After the dealership replaced a cracked windshield, I discovered that the wiper sensor was faulty. During a service visit to Valvoline Instant Oil Change on August 7, 2025, an employee informed me that metal shavings were found in the transmission pan. Additionally, the dealership had agreed to replace a damaged front grill before delivering the vehicle to my apartment; however, they only glued the existing grill instead of providing a new one as promised. Moreover, the driver's headlight is not functioning. On August 9, 2025, I visited Mavis Discount Tire, where I was informed that all four tires are worn and dry-rotted, and that the car shakes when exceeding 40 miles per hour. The technician also noted that the brake pads are nearly worn out. When I returned to Mavis to replace the tires, I learned that the rims are fractured and must be replaced before new tires can be installed.
