Dominic is a perfectionist, and knows his way around german cars. He did a major repair on my Porsche Macan. Porsche wanted $11k for the repair...a flaw in their design no less! Dominic did it for $7k and it was a more thorough repair than what Porsche was going to do. That was 2 years ago. I just recently needed a 110k maintenance...basically just oil and checkup. Porsche wanted $550. Dominic quoted $265, and again, the "over and above" attention to detail...tire pressures, general infrastructure, the test drive...and most importantly, the detailed report I got was far superior than my experiemce with Porsche. Could you find a cheaper...sure. But if you're looking to protect your investment, and plan on keeping the car on the road, Dominic's the guy. I recommend and endorse Autobahn's diagnostic quality, fair pricing and execution with the highest level of confidence. The Macan runs as well as the day I bought it. read more

I have liked having my service done @ Autobahn for years. And I will return. But ... this past service was not good. I asked that the alert on the dashboard be checked and suspected it was an alert for the tires--tires Autobahn installed two seasons ago. I picked up the car, drove six miles, and the alert returned. When I called, I was told that it's probably a sensor in one of the tires. :Yes," I said, "Why didn't you drive the car and see the alert?" Evidently, the car was not driven but examined only in the shop. I had the impression that Autobahn is a victim of its success; my service technician blasted through the service without being careful. He kept the car the entire day for a routine service; at noon, he said the car needed new spark plugs. By 3:00 he said he had not had time to install the spark plugs and could he keep the car another day? No. Instead of stewing or racing to write a review, I called and asked Dominick to call me so we could have a conversation. He has not returned my call. read more

I dropped my daughter's car off in the morning to be assessed for a problemthay was preventing it from being inspected. By 10.28 am we had a detailed list of the tests that were performed with an exact breakdown of time, cost, and GET THIS....PICTURES. Yup, they attached pictures of each issue they need to fix and described each in detail. You then got to go through the proposed project and approve what you want to be done and what you want to hold off on. I'm from a small town and I certainly have never seen this before and was impressed. Yes, it is expensive but one can expect that when you have a foreign car. No one goes into purchasing a foreign car thinking it will be cheap to fix if something goes wrong so we were not surprised at all by the cost. In fact they did come in a little bit lower than my husband and I anticipated. All in all, we would highly recommend this auto repair shop and will be happy to return to get our car taken care of by them. read more

this was my 70,000 Mile oil change and switching tires for the winter. after dropping off the car and making a small list of the things I wanted checked, Sean, one of their workers. drive me home. I got a call not long afterwards reporting on the state of my regular tires and my snow tires and made a plan for tire purchase in a years time. After a few more hours I was called that the work was done and Sean came and picked me up, drove me over and in a few minutes I was home with all the work well done especially changing the time back from daylight savings time on that annoying Subaru clock. I have been coming to Autobahn for almost ten years and have watched them grow as their reputation for excellent work spread. I just had an oil change and tire rotation along with brake service. What was a pleasant surprise was an extensive emailed report of what the technician found along with their recommendations. These recommendations were accompanied by a vehicle health status report and numerous pictures of specific items in my car with test equipment that indicated certain services were needed. It was the most comprehensive report of its type that I have ever seen from an auto mechanic and made decisions to do work easy. the car service was good but if they don't assure me that their their vicious dog has been permanently leashed on a leash and musseled, I will not return. The dog literally flew out of the garage and attacked our 20 lb cockapoo, cwho was leashed and standing by our car in the parking lot, and bit his ear in 3 places before the attacker could be pulled away. read more
